Horrible costumer service!!!! Do not buy from them!!!!

I bought a pair of PeriOptix loupes from them 4 years ago, without saying these things cost a lot of money. One of my lens became loose- an easy fix with some glue basically - their response to this !- NEED TO BUY NEW LOUPES as they are not repairable !!!!! What a joke!
Not to mention that they do not reply to emails in time - send an email more than a week ago and still no response!
This company does not think of their costumers just their pockets! Stay away form them !!!!

My rotodent is over 10 yrs old, given to me as a gift. It has stopped working. In order for warranty to be honored I have to come up with proof of purchase. I have the unit, the dentist name, address and phone are printed on the unit. I saved the box top with the barcode. I do not have a receipt and the dentist retired, office is closed! Because this unit was not registered they will not honor the warranty without proof of purchase. I really liked this unit but will never purchase another Rotodent. Thanks for nothing!

As a customer of DenMat's for over 10 years, I feel I'm qualified to give an honest review for what once was a good, decent company. First, the customer service has really gone downhill over the last 5-6 years. Perhaps, it was the change in ownership that occurred around then. One thing is for sure, it doesn't matter if you've been a customer for over a decade, DenMat will treat you poorly and not think twice about it.

One of the primary reasons to avoid DenMat is the technology. While the ProSelect hygiene MOTOR is a good motor, all the attachments have a short lifespan and will fail regularly. Everything from the foot pedal, power cord, hand piece cord, and hand piece itself will need to be replaced regularly. Foot pedals: Every 9-18 month. Hand piece: Every 4-6 months. Cord: Every 4-6 months. When you include the replacement parts, plus buying their expensive hand piece tips, ANNUAL maintenance for the Proselect Handpiece is well over $2,000. It's fair to say my office has easily spent close to $10,000 of replacement parts for the Proselect over the last 5 years alone. Did I mention parts are always on back order?

Next the SOL Laser. The SOL Laser we received for signing up for LSDP in 2016. When it works, it's a decent laser. However, it does not appear to be a durable product. In a year, we've sent it twice for repair (only a few months apart). Once even, the billing department held the SOL Laser (which has a warranty) from delivery, for failure to make a payment for a product order I hadn't even received. Great customer building strategy if you ask me!

The final straw for my office was when our LSDP membership was ending (we did not want to renew) and the billing department again would not release orders until I paid for product I hadn't yet received. A familiar scam..

When I then paid for the product they tell me "you already received that product" please make another LSDP payment, if you'd like us to release more product to you. Bottom line, the billing department and customer service are rarely, if ever, on the same page and will not bother to look into any issue you may have.

I could go on and on about the diminishing quality of lab work, or the lack of attention and service they give their clients but i'll spare you. Simply put, you're better off staying away from Den Mat all together.

The last two reviews are spot on for this company....

The last two reviews are spot on for this company. I have been a Rotadent user for well over 10 years. The first Rotadent I bought lasted over 5 years. When this company took over, the quality of the toothbrushes went down hill. "Planned obsolescence" is apparently built in when they were redesigned. When the Rotadent stops working and it's under warranty, the company chastises you for reporting that the brush does not work and heaven forbid, you want a replacement. I spoke with Carrie, a manager, on Friday, September 7th and she lied and yes I said lied and told me I cursed at her last year as it's documented in their reports when I called to advised my Rotadent(once again) stopped working. Yes, I told her she was lying as I never cursed at her.

Now the reason for my most recent call. I purchased 3 brush heads in June and by August I had used all of them because all of them stopped working. One of the customer service reps stated there is a gear in the brush head that stops working. Yes, one of their employees told me this. So Den-Mat is aware they are selling faulty equipment. My last Rotadent was used for 6 months before it stopped working. Buyer beware.

I bought Fluoridex from a dentist, she has near expired stocks. Although I used for months, the sensitivity didn't go away. I tried to contact to buy new expired date product but can't buy. Hope they understand how the patients suffered!

UPDATED- They returned my money faster then they said, so I changed my rating to 3 stars. Called to get a warranty replacement part and had to give my credit card info to pay for shipping. They ended up taking double the shipping I argeed to and now I have to send bank statements to prove and wait 7-10 business days to get MY money back!! Very bad business practices! DenMat need to hire new tech support to "Fix" the gliches in there system....which is the excuse I was given why they over charged!

So lifetime warrenty is a scam. If you dont keep the recipt for life. And you dont have the dentist to go back and get said purchase recipt. U R SOL. I have box. Addess where dentist office used to reside. The unit did not last more than a year.

I have had multiple rota-dents, kind of liked them. big deal right 100+ dollars is not much. But it is worth a negative customer experience.
