As a customer of DenMat's for over 10 years, I feel I'm qualified to give an honest review for what once was a good, decent company. First, the customer service has really gone downhill over the last 5-6 years. Perhaps, it was the change in ownership that occurred around then. One thing is for sure, it doesn't matter if you've been a customer for over a decade, DenMat will treat you poorly and not think twice about it.

One of the primary reasons to avoid DenMat is the technology. While the ProSelect hygiene MOTOR is a good motor, all the attachments have a short lifespan and will fail regularly. Everything from the foot pedal, power cord, hand piece cord, and hand piece itself will need to be replaced regularly. Foot pedals: Every 9-18 month. Hand piece: Every 4-6 months. Cord: Every 4-6 months. When you include the replacement parts, plus buying their expensive hand piece tips, ANNUAL maintenance for the Proselect Handpiece is well over $2,000. It's fair to say my office has easily spent close to $10,000 of replacement parts for the Proselect over the last 5 years alone. Did I mention parts are always on back order?

Next the SOL Laser. The SOL Laser we received for signing up for LSDP in 2016. When it works, it's a decent laser. However, it does not appear to be a durable product. In a year, we've sent it twice for repair (only a few months apart). Once even, the billing department held the SOL Laser (which has a warranty) from delivery, for failure to make a payment for a product order I hadn't even received. Great customer building strategy if you ask me!

The final straw for my office was when our LSDP membership was ending (we did not want to renew) and the billing department again would not release orders until I paid for product I hadn't yet received. A familiar scam..

When I then paid for the product they tell me "you already received that product" please make another LSDP payment, if you'd like us to release more product to you. Bottom line, the billing department and customer service are rarely, if ever, on the same page and will not bother to look into any issue you may have.

I could go on and on about the diminishing quality of lab work, or the lack of attention and service they give their clients but i'll spare you. Simply put, you're better off staying away from Den Mat all together.
