It's old but still okay. If they renovate the main hall and surrounding areas and keep the same layout it would look pretty nice (hard to explain unless u see it). Has a decent Japanese restaurant (Sagano).

Great Pool Kids and wife Loved but......
Bring your own sheets theirs not enough sheets on the bed to keep you warm????
.... it s the basic things that just need to be right!
Ice and drinks are on the even floors only pick them for your room stairwells are poorly marked and all look like they belong in a parking garage, some floors are bolted shut for construction by the garage.
Got Delta-ed a bad hand Shazam!

Entrance was under renovation. Parking was limited to parking garage which is limited. Front desk service was slow for a weekend. Only reason for booking here was the indoor pool for the kids. The pool area is clean but water is a tad on the cool side during winter visit. Pool towels we're readily available.

Nice staff. Location is not great so if you're booking this hotel as a cheap alternative to a central Toronto hotel then it's a false economy when you consider time and if you ever choose to taxi.
Difficult to fault the room and premises. Nice gym and pool.

The hotel is old and needs mega refurbishing - at least the floor we were in.(Ground Floor) Its noisy there since its right where the pool is. The front desk person that checked us in was not friendly at all - could not find us a better room. I would not recommend this place to anybody.
The coffee in that room is old - even the creamer was gone bad. A huge health hazard. You would think that at 200 bucks a night, they could provide you at least a decent cup of coffee. Check out the photo of my coffee in the morning!

I stayed with my mom and 2 year old for 4 days and 4 nights for leisure.

First thing I didnt like was having to share a door with the adjacent room. I have stayed at this hotel before a few years ago and I don't remember having an extra door in the room that you share with the next room. Anyway, its just a preference thing I guess, but if it was mentioned on the website during booking, I think it would have swayed my decision to stay at this particular hotel.

Secondly, we constantly (like, everyday) had to call front desk and ask for extra complimentary tea/coffee/creamer/sugar because housekeeping didnt replenish it when cleaning the room daily. It was annoying and on the last night we were there, my mother called front desk to ask for black tea and the receptionist told her to drink the lemon herbal tea we had in the room. Very unprofessional and appalling to be honest. My mother told her not everyone prefers herbal lemon tea and after about a half hour, we got 3 orange peakoe tea bags brought up to our room. (Update: the manager did reach out to me via email and assured me this matter is being investigated and employees would be trained on customer service).

Thirdly, housekeeping would not put back the same number of clean towels that they would remove from the room, so we would be short towels and have to ask. They did give it to us when asked, but why do we have to ask? Shouldn't they just put back the number they took? Also, my mother's sheets had a pen mark on it and the entire 4 nights, the same pen mark was in the same exact location. Now, I'm not sure if its policy not to change sheets unless they are visibly soiled or if we have to ask for them to change it, or maybe ALL their sheets have the same pen marking and housekeeping made the bed so that the marking showed up in the same location (eyes rolling). Not what I expected from The Delta hotel to say the least.

**(Also, their "blankets" were a 2 white sheets with a fleece blanket in between. So, you had to deal with making sure you pull all 3 pieces over you when in bed. Kind of annoying...! What happened to the down filled blankets?)**

We constantly felt like we had to practically beg for things that should have been given and it wasn't a nice feeling since we were paying $160+ a night for the room. Not to mention parking or any other services we used.

All in all, I most likely will not be staying st this particular Delta hotel again, and I wouldn't and won't recommend it because of my recent experience.

Super classy joint. Not the greatest location if your trying to visit down town Toronto. Great spot for families. Huge pool with water slide, Jacuzzi and sauna. If downtown is your purpose the place is accessible by public trans. Check online for train schedule.

Booked a room in Edmonton, got additionally charged for a room here.
They refused to refund the charge, despite my booking confirmation clearly stating Edmonton.
I provided them with copies of my booking confirmation and the receipt for my Edmonton room. Despite all this, they refused to refund my money. Why would I get a room in two different cities for the same night?

Basically they took my money for a room I didn't ask for.
I received no notice, alert, or confirmation that a room in Toronto had been booked under my name, on my card.

Got refused my refund from "Arlene", on the basis of me being a "No Show", and that they "Held the room for me".

I have never been to Toronto in my life. But if I do go someday, I won't be staying here.

Went there for dinner at Sagano Japanese Restaurant. It was a little difficult navigating to get to the restaurant but once there we were greeted with a very welcoming staff. Parking was an issue on the day we arrived for dinner. When we pulled in for parking, the machine read that it was complimentary and did not issue us a ticket and let us through. However exiting proved to be more of a challenge as the gate would not open unless we had a ticket (which was never issued to us when we first arrived)

Room is clean and bed is comfortable. Garage parking is oddly far while hotel undergoes construction. Pool is nice and indoors. Restaurant has decent food options, but servers are understaffed.

The worst Marriott I have stayed at. Not very clean the lobby has had the same chips and garbage on the floor for over two days, in room curtains stained counters stained, tub doesn't drain proper. It's an average place to stay, just not what I have come to expect from Delta hotels by Marriott.

Nice hotel...the chlorine smell when walking by the pool area to the towers, is slightly over powering, however the hotel and staff are very nice. Restaurant is very pleasant, strips were dry, but everything else was great. There is underground parking----bonus.

The room was in great shape, clean, large. The information in the guest directory wasn't very accurate on a couple counts, and we had a problem with room service breakfast. The front desk was able to comp the breakfast when asked. Would stay again without concerns.

Setting up the contract to reserve a block of room...

Setting up the contract to reserve a block of rooms went relatively smoothly, but requires a $250 deposit, that if you don't meet the minimum reservation qty of 15 rooms, you won't be reimbursed. The online reservation process is confusing for guests, because it's not easy to find the request to check in early (before 3 pm) or how to book more than 1 night.

For clarity, this review is for my husband and my experience with our rooms. We booked 2 rooms under my name and my fiance's name, one for Friday to Sunday and another for our wedding night from Saturday to Sunday.

Unfortunate experiences were as follows:
1. For the room booked for Fri-Sun, we did this to allow us to have stuff ready for us on Saturday during the day for our wedding party to change clothing. We checked in, requested and received 5 room cards with no issues on Friday. When my brother-in-law asked which room # it was, they gave him a hassle: his name wasn't on the reservation, and then they gave him a non-existent room #: 1030 instead of 1003.

2. For some reason, they checked my elderly uncle and aunt into our room meant for the bride/groom. We know it was intended for us, because there was champagne and strawberries in there, which my uncle informed us of the day after we checked out. When I expressed frustration that they checked the wrong people into our room, they said it was confusing for them, because we had more than 1 room in our names. The staff can see our initials on the reservation. At front desk, they told me my uncle's initial and asked for ID, so I don't understand why it was confusing. Just do it right when you check people in. All of this happened at 4 am after our wedding, by the way.

When I sent an email expressing my disappointment and frustration, the hotel asked me why my uncle didn't inform me that they were checked into the wrong room, because they should have seen the card addressed to us. They checked in after 1 am, and they're elderly and it's not their responsibility to check the right people into the rooms.

I would NOT recommend this hotel. What a crappy response from a manager at the hotel. Terrible customer service and experience. Go elsewhere - take a chance with the Best Western on Markham/401 and save your sanity.

My associate didn't this location was that bad. But for company travels this hotel needs more options for their customers.

1. Better bundles that include breakfast and free parking.
2. Make the rates cheaper.

The only good thing Delta has going for them right now is the method of payments. Online authorization is the best tool I have seen by far.

If Delta ever reads this please do something about the packages you offer.

Stayed at the tower side. Good breakfast buffet with make to order eggs and omelette station. Clean room, comfortable bed but decor is dated. Parking garage is next to the building. Seems like there is no elevator access to the hotel from parking garage. Overall a good value hotel.

My husband and I took a vacation day from work and...

My husband and I took a vacation day from work and booked $400 worth of spa services at the Delta. With two small children (aged 3 and 5), we made sure to call in advance and make sure there was access to the pool for 1-2 hours while we received our massage therapy. When we arrived, we were told by the pool attendant that the spa or front desk would have to "approve" of access for the kids. After waiting around for over 30 minutes while staff tried to organize themselves around the issue, we were told that the children could not be accommodated in the pool for 1-2 hours. We offered to pay for access to make things simple - also "not allowed" according to staff. As a result, we had to cancel our spa services and waste our vacation day, watching Delta staff debate the common sense of their own polices.

To summarize, Delta chose to reject $400 entering into their hotel economy because they could not find a way to allow a 3 year old and 5 year old into a pool for 1 hour. In the process, they managed to create a very poor customer experience by 1.) Not giving us the right information before we arrived, 2.) Not being organized and coordinated as staff on how to treat the issue as presented and 3.) Providing no reasonable explanation for the decision other than "there is a policy" which was not universally understood between the various staff we spoke to. The front desk staff then agreed that they didn't understand the reason for such a policy in this context and it's impact on the customer experience made little sense.

I have never experienced this at other hotels and strongly encourage you to revisit a number of things. 1.) The rational behind your policy of not allowing spa guests access to a pool for an hour (access is standard in majority of hotels who spend money at the spa) 2.) Staff training and understanding of why the policy exists 3.) Information provided to guest (we were clearly given wrong information), 4.)coordination between your hotel services and spa services staff (clearly unorganized). Overall it was extremely frustrating and disappointing way to spend a vacation day, not to mention 2 very disappointed children, spa staff who had our appointments canceled and my husband's back/health issues that he was going to the spa to treat.

Mariot and Delta should have better standards for their guests and somebody should be held accountable for the way we were treated. We are very unhappy and will be informing others (social media, trip advisor, etc) of our experience to save future guests from similar disappointments.

The service was very friendly and prompt. The room was very clean and the pool area was very nice even though the water slides is only open Fridays Saturdays and Sundays. The bed was extremely comfortable and I didn't want to leave. I didn't visit any of the restaurants but they looked very nice and inviting. Overall I would recommend this hotel to business travelers and families alike.

Great location off of the highway before traffic really gets bad going into Toronto. Interior is a little dated, but the pool makes up for it. Close to lots of amenities and public transportation.

Poor quality in giving the right information about how they operate. Was told they wouldn't charge my credit card just needed it on file(even though I was there for a tournament and was NOT paying for this room) get home to find out they charged $75.00 that will "come back in just a couple days" is what i was told when I called about it. Not impressed on the fact that he said nothing will be charged instead of saying it's an authorization charge, which is also b.s because I WASN'T paying for the room, there for there shouldn't be anything to authorize. They were paying for about 6 rooms.

Quite old and worn hotel, but location is good. Rooms were moderate size and had a desk but no couch. The location of the room is important as the freeway noise can be disturbing. The bathroom in my room was not very well cleaned. Also worth noting the wifi was not very fast and kept dropping. Pool is a big attraction but was always empty during my stay and the slide was closed. Staff was friendly and the breakfast was good but priced on the high end compared to what we get at other Marriott's. Suitable if just passing thru for a night or 2 on a business trip but personally I wouldn't put my family up here while on vacation.

Learned at check-in that they were housing the homeless. While I admire the initiative, I strongly believe that they should make this clear to guests *before* they arrive, so they can assess the risk and make other arrangements. Many people around the lobby, common areas and elevators - no masks, no social distancing and no evidence of sanitizing. The homeless people staying here and the paying guests deserve better.

Horrible experience at this hotel. This is by far the filthiest and most run down Marriott hotel that I have stayed at. Poorly managed with outdated and dirty rooms. We stayed on the main floor and it was obvious that the room had not been properly cleaned. Parking is behind the building with no direct access. I will call Marriott head office in the morning. Stay elsewhere....
