Delta Hotel, Winnipeg Manitoba Review

Rooms were clean and comfortable, heated floor in the bathroom really made the stay great.

No issues, great stay, friendly staff lots of option for food at all price points right in the hotel.

Best sleep ever! Nice to have a warm floor in the bathroom to step on in the morning too. Very clean also

Great butter chicken poutien and great service. But a bit too hot in the restaurant. Apparently the hotel controls the restaurants temperature.

Rooms are great with underground parking and a pool really good if your going to an event that is an all day or late show so you can stay the night.

Centrally located, this stylish and recently updated property is connected to the Skywalk (which is great for jets games), and very close to nearby attractions such as The Forks, Manitoba Museum, Canadian Museum for Human Rights and the Exchange District

It was a great stay. Very clean great service. Only thing I'm really disappointed about is, the staff convinced me to upgrade to the club floor with free drinks and lounge, they did not tell me that alcohol was looked up on weekends and only available business hours. So in the end the upgrade was not worth it!!!

Great service!! We enjoyed our stay very much even though we came during an ice storm. The hotel was very clean breakfast was delicious!! And the restaurant in the front of the hotel was delicious and had some good deals!

Attended a Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce Luncheon in the second floor event room. Great spacious setting. Food was delicious and wait staff were friendly and efficient.

We requested early check in and the Delta was very accommodating! Our bed was comfy and the room was very clean. I had an excellent experience with great guest service overall and was very happy with our stay!

Great pool and hot tub and gym. It was really quiet in the evening I was able to relax in hot tub. The room was really comfortable. I am really disapointed that I did not have the chance to try the restaurant.

Great location but by far the best bar service we have received anywhere, our bartender was extremely friendly and loved getting to know us, he was very knowledgeable and a good source of what todo in the area for fun. Even on his day off he spotted us downtown and took the time to say hi, we still talk on how the service was the best ever and the reason we will stay at the Delta again! We were unable to remember his name but we do remember him mentioning his length of employment which was extensive!

Friendly staff, good interior. Room's washroom does not have exhaust fan (a big requirements when one is sharing room with others and when others try some new local foods ;) ). Washroom floor was heated (big plus). Good overall location.

Very friendly and accomodating staff. The rooms are neat and their pool is also very well managed. With a few dining options within the hotel, it is a very nice one to stay in. Being in the downtown is another perk.

The banquet rooms in the second floor are very nice and worked out well for the conference I attended.

Underground parking is a bit terrifying though. Don't go down there if you are even remotely claustrophobic.

It was a wonderful experience, the rooms were clean and excellent customer service. The roof pool was amazing and the indoor pool was wonderful. Location is on st Marie's and Donald.

Recently attended a fundraising event held in the Delta ballroom. The food was tasty. Wait staff were friendly and helpful. I've been to many events there over the years, and everything always runs really smoothly. The venue always looks really fresh and clean.

Excellent front desk service from Irene at check on. Wonderful room.

They've been good to us even though we're a big, loud, abnoxious group. Although they didn't have our rooms ready when we got here they compensated with nice little gift bags

Went to a graduation banquet at the Delta and it was lovely! Great food, great service and a gorgeous setup!

Stayed here for new years eve and walked over to convention center. Love that it is all connected so that we didn't have to go outside in the cold. We stayed on the 7th floor overlooking the summer pool area. Despite the crazy parties down town, the hotel was very quiet and had comfortable bedding. Would stay here again. Little expensive but convenience overshot the expense.

The rooms were beautiful and i loved the heated floors in the bathroom. The beds were comfy i just wish the blankets were a little warmer. But thats one small thing so the hotel still gets 5 starts

Wonderful choice for anyone who is in town to participate in anything at the convention center. The amenities are top notch and rooms have a great layout for not only relaxing but to work in. The fact that it is attached to the skywalk also makes going out for an evening convenient. I would recommend using their valet service dor your car however as parking can be a bit frustrating

The best hotel staff i have ever met. I mentioned i like a standin shower rather than the bathtub and they assigned me one the next time.

I had breakfast in the Blaze restaurant. Food was decent, but I found service slow.

Nice rooms. Enjoyable staff. Center of the city. But the parking garage was specifically designed for the Honda Prius. Nearly impossible to navigate with anything else. It'll put "character" on the roof of your pickup.

Very convenient location. It is in the heart of downtown Winnipeg and a close walk to all of the attractions. Connected to the conference centre which was a great location for attending conferences because it was close and didn't need to go outside to get to the conference centre. Would highly recommend.

Blaze lounge is a great place for an elegant quite drink and this year's rainbow gala looked amazing on the second floor!

Whatever you do, do not get a suite by the pool. Suites on level 3&4 surround the indoor pool, it is light 24/7 and with inadequate shutters on bedroom windows lights up the room throughout the night. On top of that, it is loud with people late at night and early in the morning. Also, these rooms have no other windows making it a choice between displaying your bedroom(s) to the hallway or claustrophobia. During our stay, it also seemed the hotel attracted a very undesirable, loud, obnoxious, and young crowd. Rooms however are nice and clean, and the beds are comfortable.

This hotel has many of the same amenities as other hotels. The rooms are a good size, the bed relatively comfortable, the balcony with opening windows is nice but the pool with its floating interior liner is odd. What sets is apart and why I've given it five stars is the service and the people that work here. Honestly, the service has been amazing. No matter where I've seen an employee, they are all anxious to help. They are all extremely friendly. They went above and beyond for me, and for this I will definitely stay here again. Special shout out for the security personnel, Garry, who has been fantastic.

I travel to Winnipeg often, and Delta is by far my favourite place to stay. The location is very central, the rooms are clean, and the service staff is friendly. You can tell that management really cares about their loyal customers, and they go out of their way to solve any issues you might have. The in-house restaurant is also great, and I highly recommend getting the breakfast package.

Attended a wedding on the second floor with my family. Venue was beautifully decorated. The food was decent, a bit on the cold side. Serving staff were ok, a bit slow to bring things and refill glasses, not overly friendly. Overall an ok experience, although I expected a little more from a higher end hotel.

Always a pleasant experience. Minutes away from the NHL arena. Minutes away from a great Indian restaurant. Staff are great.

Not pleased with my stay whatsoever. I had to request new bed linen because of it not being laundered; they offered an upgrade for the inconvenience. The upgraded room was exactly the same as the previous, and had unwashed makeup stains on the pillows! I requested all new linen once again, and had to make my own bed because housekeeping staff wasn t on shift.

I have stayed at many Delta Hotels dozens of times without issue. In my opinion dirty linen is inexcusable, and will never be returning to this Delta Hotel location in Winnipeg.

Great hotel, great service. Parking was a little iffy but worth it once you set you eyes on the lobby for the first time.

Stayed here for a business trip. Staff was friendly and helpful. I stayed in an accessible room, which was very well designed. The room was clean and comfortable. I especially appreciated the updated desk with easy to reach outlets (including USB ports). There is very little sound insulation between rooms so I could hear my neighbours.

Room was clean and neat but price seemed on the higher end.

this is the second time a stayed here. I was disappointed this time. None of the power outlets on the sides of the bed worked. I made the mistake of moving the night stand to see if there was a plug behind it. What I found was a large about of dust build up due to lack of cleaning. But to be honest, I'm sure all hotels don't clean behind the furniture.
Also the front desk forgot to ask "How was my stay?".

To conclude, I will only stay here because the hotel is in a great downtown location. otherwise thats about it.

Was very pleased with my stay. Staff was friendly and professional. The room was clean when we checked in and kept clean during the stay. Cleaning staff were respectful of our personal belongings. Would stay again.
