Nice relaxing trip, be ready for two hours of beautiful dells scenery, jokes could use some refreshing all around worth the ride

We had a nice tour on the Wisconsin Dell tour boats, the captain and her sister were excellent tour guides. Give this group a try and you won't be disappointed.

The Upper tour is the best! Beautiful scenery on boat and on the shore stops! Great for any age!

We just did this boat tour on July 4th. It s beautiful and the girls were very nice, accommodating, and informative. I m giving it three stars because we were told there will be social distancing on the boat, but there was no such a thing. The girl selling the tickets assured us safety steps are taken aboard, but she straight up lied as they allowed every seat to be taken. The two employee girls on the boat allowed us to sit on the cushion seats in the very back of the boat so we then felt safe as those seats were completely separate. Our tour was at 3:45. The one that left around 5:30ish seemed much less crowded so social distancing is an option. The tour itself is fun and enjoyable, and totally worth your money. Thank you to the captain girls, you made it possible for us to enjoy this ride!

We sat on the upper deck and the ride was very scenic. Two stops to stretch your feet. Be sure to know the weather before departing...it poured on the way back and we were drenched but still had a great time!

Very knowledgeable tour guide who made it fun and interesting. Breathtaking views all along the river. The stops along the way are stunning.

We took the Upper Dells tour, which is supposed to be about 2 hours long and has stops at Witches Gulch and Standing Rock. When we got there it was sunny out, but as we were boarding it got cloudy. We figured they wouldn t take us out on the water if it was about to storm, but we were wrong. Once we boarded, the captain said it ll storm while we re at Witches Gulch and everyone on the top deck will need to come down under. Not having much experience on boats during storms, we were worried and wished they would ve given more context around what the process is during a storm. It got very crowded underneath with a lot of kids, strollers, and a large dog, so not the most comfortable. They ended up cutting the tour short and skipped Standing Rock. We wished they would ve either told people beforehand that it would storm and give us the option to either go on another tour the next day or give part of our money back since we didn t get the full experience. But the staff were nice and the Wisconsin Dells are very pretty - definitely worth taking a tour if you re in the area. Get there about 30 minutes early to get a parking spot and a good spot in line.

Great tour! Must go! Choose the upper river tour as it is better than the lower tour. Boat has a choice of inside or outside seating. Outside is best, unless it rains, which it did at the end of our trip. The young woman who was our guide was fun, pleasant, funny and quite cute, in spite of the cool wet weather. You should go!

Great experience! Truly beautiful rock formations and scenery. The wait for the boat was short, the staff was friendly and informative, and the length and beauty of the ride was well worth the money!

Amazing place to see. Boat ride to see the Dells was great. Did the Upper tour so we got a close up view of the formations.

we enjoyed the upper dells boat tour but unfortunately the landing for witches gulch was broken so we weren't able to see that. We were very disappointed with this and we were not informed of this change when we purchased our tickets. The tour was good overall, the tour guides talked a lot but it was pretty good information. Overall it wasn't really worth the cost and we were refused a refund for the missed boat landing.

What a blast! We hadn't been to the Dells before and this was a great way to learn some history and see some sights. We were fortunate enough to sit on the upper deck. The time off the boat at the stops was pretty short, so it would be nice to have some more flexibility there.

Captain and the assistant were informative and entertaining. I'd recommend this for sure.

Been here on a Saturday! The boat tours are superb , well timed & educational! We had a huge option of boat types but went with slow motion boat as I am 8 months pregnant! The entire boat trip is 2 hrs long with two good halts.. a to do thing for all who visit Wisconsin dells! Our boat guide was fun to be with! We had 11:00am boat & njoyed it a lot!

We absolutely loved this tour! It was amazing! Totally worth it, so glad we went on the Upper Dells. Along with a relaxing, very scenic boat ride, we stopped and walked along Witches Gulch walkway and also walked to see Standing Rock. The kids loved the Witches Gulch, it was so much fun! We rode the Joliet boat and Grace was our tour guide. She was awesome, very friendly and knew the history & area really well! It was a great family attraction, so glad we went.

Seemed expensive at first. But when you consider that it's a 2 hour guided tour. I felt I got my money worth.

You have to do ducks. The upper ducks are better than the lower ducks. Longer and two walking paths.

Great scenery, great staff, and worth the price for any age over 5 if you ask me. Kids under 5 may not find much enjoyment in it until you get to walk through the caverns.

A very nice boat trip through the Wisconsin Dells. Two stops on which beautiful formations could be seen. The allocation of seats is interesting. First come, first serve. And changing places is not welcomed.

This tour was a blast. We did the upper Dells on a beautiful sunny morning. Our tour guide was funny and knowledgeable. We docked twice for short walks into areas of historic interest. Highly recommend!

Nice scenerie but the guide rambled on the entire tour with non stop bad jokes and kind of ruined the experience

Matt our tour guide on the Duck boat tour was very funny and told us history of the boats and the river Dell surroundings. Gave us a splash and some fun rides throughout the forest area. We loved the experience!!

Best Boat Tour in the World! I learned so much history during the tour, and it was very fun at the same time. The workers are great, the history is accurate, food/bathroom accommodations, you get to stop and walk around, comfortable seating, and much more. So cool that this company has been around since the mid-1800's, and is still here today. If you do one boat tour in your life... this is the one!

The boat was clean, and the guides were knowledgeable. The tour overall is slow going. We were told the tour takes 2 hours but ended up taking about 3. We were late for our check out because of this.

The witches gulch was ok. If you've been to Starved Rock in Illinois it is very similar. The dog jumping the rock was the most interesting part.

We had a good time floating with Dells Boat Tours. We did the upper float.

Our Duck got a flat tire which made it an even better experience. The staff handled it professionally.

Captain and 1st mate knew so much great info . They have a dog that jumps from one ledge to the other. Just one of the wonderful stops they did on the tour. You don't just sit on the boat. You can go out on islands they stop on .a must do for a to do list

Loved the boat ride and stops except for the dog jump. Rocky clearly did not want to jump, treats were thrown, squeaky toys, finally a woman yelled, "don't make him if he doesn't want to". The handler then said he slipped the other day and has been leary since, yet still tried to make him go. I walked away, the boat captain said not to make him do it. Why did they even try when it was obvious the dog was scared, another boat walked up as we left, I hope poor Rocky wasn't egged on to jump again :( talk about the photo, make a human do it.

We took the upper dells boat tour and it was fantastic! The children loved it and it was a highlight of our trip. The tour guide was entertaining and informative without being obnoxious. We learned a lot of the history and geology of the area. The two port stops were visually stunning, historical, and fascinating from a geological perspective. A chance to see the sandstone formations upclose. Don't leave the dells without taking this tour. If you want to ride on top, bring a jacket.

The sunset cruise was really nice and relaxing the food was pretty good but the entertainment needs to be a bit better

It was a nice combination of nature walk and boat ride. Be aware that you can't buy a ticket for a specific departure time, so you may have to wait at the dock to ensure you catch the boat you want.

Very informative and fun to see the Upper Dells and hear the history and see the natural beauty of the area.

There is a $6 off coupon in a few booklets for up to 4 people off per coupon. The upper boat tour was great with two places to get off the boat and explore for about 10-15 minutes. The boat ride was approximately 2 hours, with some informational commentary and a few good jokes. The second stop has a dog jump from one rock to another which is kinda cool but also nothing special. The first stop is the witches gulch which was pretty awesome to learn the history and take some great photos.

Upper Dells tour is good. Pleasant sail on a ferry in the evening with a fresh breeze of air close to the nature is always enchanting

Get there early if you want to sit on the upper deck. My wife, daughter (age 10) and I liked it, but my 13 y.o. son was a little bored.

Great natural beauty, dad jokes from guides, and decent concessions. Little pricey though.

Enjoyable and informative trip in the Wisconsin River. Be prepared to be overwhelmed with the scenery and corny jokes.
