Food was decent, beer was good, and service was great.
Food was decent, beer was good, and service was great.
The pizzas are great, staff is attentive but the beer is not exciting and rarely do they brew new styles.
Pasta dishes are horrible, they don't let the pasta drain and I'm pretty sure it goes right to plate. Drinks are good especially their house root beer. Service is acceptable, not rude by any means but didn't seem to like to be inconvenienced. Helpful however.
It had been some time since I had gone to Delafield Brewhaus, but weekday lunch was a pleasant treat! Our drinks were good (and plenty strong!), and something different. We had the lunch special (poutine), which was pretty good.
Party of 12 had an enjoyable dinner! Pretzels with the beer cheese soup were amazing. Beautifully decorated for the holidays and great service!
Lovely space, excellent beer and food & friendly & helpful staff. The sausage platter was very tasty as were the two seasonal beer I tried.
Our waitress was fantastic. My husband said the fish was great. My French Onion soup was average.
The food is delicious. You have to get the Asiago Artichoke dip its amazing.
First time ever visiting this establishment and we were SO SATISFIED! Food was delicious, came out quickly and the service was stellar. Our kids ate their entire meals for once and the atmosphere made us feel welcome as a family of four.
We came for the Friday fish fry and we're not disappointed. Choice of cod or perch with the classic Wisconsin sides: coleslaw, rye bread, and choice of potato. Pair it with a craft beer or Old Fashioned and you're in for a good night. We were seated quickly and received excellent service.
I specifically asked for the mashed potatoes without scallions, and when they arrived, they had scallions sprinkled on the top. The waitress told me I could just scrape them off. I didn't know what to say cuz that's the first time anyone's ever told me to just scrape off the part I didn't want to eat. I also ordered the brisket which coincidentally also came with scallions. I scraped those off well, however, the brisket was dry.
I would definatly recommend this place but it was not over the top spectacular. The beer was very good, we tried four different beers and they were all very drinkable. The food was good and reasonably priced. Service was very good and professional. Unfortunately this business model has become ubiquitous lately and it is difficult to stand out in the market.
The food was very tasty. Loved the cheese soup. Would go back alone just for it!!
Went to the Delafield Brewhaus today for the fish fry. Knew it would be busy on a Friday, but after waiting an hour for a table, had to wait another half an hour between the server bringing bread and coleslaw, and then the fish. While the table next to us got their entrees in 10 minutes. Fish was greasy. The coleslaw was bland, fries were cold and tasted like cardboard. You only get half a slice of rye bread. If I choked on a fish bone, the bread wasnt big enuf to save me. Very disappointing and not worth the wait....
Came in about 4:00 on a Friday. Walked in there were 2 people working at the desk. One greeted us and one was on her phone texting. The server was nice, but did not tell us about any specials or mentioned anything about a fish fry. Did hear her tell other tables about the specials and fish fry. She did not check on us much but walked by multiple times. 3 stars for the Rootbeer. Was hoping service would be better as the last visit service was not the best either.
Kelly the bartender was excellent. Very informative regarding the Beer selections. Also, great discussion in regards to Growlers and Howlers and their purpose. My wife and her had great discussions regarding the Beer choices.
Excellent atmosphere. Food was great. Service was great. Beer was excellent
I have been a server for 20+ years, my date has been in law for over 40+ years and are very generous and easy going people who enjoy good atmosphere and good food. However tonight our evening was not just ruined but our opinion of Delafield Brewhus has been forever tainted. We arrived to very nice and professional hotesses, our table was ideal ; a cozy corner table. Being famished we were ready to order drinks and appetizers immediately, No Server. We took a few more minutes to look over the menu, No Server. There was a hostess/busser 2 tables away , and undoubtedly noticed our lack of drinks or service , without a doubt, but decidedly chose to ignore us completely. After approximately 15min I went to the host stand and asked if i could get some service, as no Server had come by. The hostess immediately went to the kitchen and i to my table. where i told my date i was going to step out and cool off and have a cigarette, while i sat in the parking lot , my date text approximately 5 min later and informed me NO SERVER HAD BEEN BY STILL. This was HANDS DOWN the worst restaurant experience ive ever had. Im appalled , disappointed , and HUNGRY. I havent lived here in Milwaukee but a few months and have had exceptional restaurant service up to today. I will NOT be returning .
We had the breakfast buffet which goes until 1:00. I loved it. The made to order crepes and omelettes were especially good! The buffet is $15 but worth it! Great service too.
Decent food, nothing really spectacular. If you like different beers, I imagine this would be the place for you. Decent service-large place.
Great food, but be prepared for a wait at night and on the weekends. Great beer!
Outstanding food and the beer was worth driving to this place by itself.
Good food. Went on a not so busy night and service was slow. But nice atmosphere to enjoy while you wait for your food.
Excellent flavor. Presentation of the food. On Tuesdays there is a menu with Mexican dishes, very good. Portions good
Good, simple food and nice beer selection. Plenty of seating.
Large menu, nice seperate gluten free one also. Good food and atmosphere
Very good local restaurant with its own brewery, awesome pizza and service. Gets crowded on weekend nights and Sunday morning brunch.
Fish fry was excellent. Lightly seasoned breading that was baked.
It's been about 6 months since my last visit, and this place has gone downhill in a big way. I ordered a black and blu burger which was overcooked and bland. The fries were food service fries and disappointing and all of our sodas were served flat. I won't be returning any time soon.
Normally a great place but last visit was less than what we expected. 2 of 5 meals were served cold and beans were substituted for asparagus without notice. Service was also quite slow - much slower than normal.
Well run. Decent beer. Nice bar food menu. They can handle larger groups also.
I always wanted to stop and I finally did. The pizza was worth the wait. I will have to go back for a beer to give a complete review.
Great selection of beer. Staff is friendly and know the menu. Clean environment!
What's not to like..good food...great beer...stop here alot on our way to waukesha/Milwaukee area.Very large micro brewery always somewhere to sit it seems
The carpet could have been cleaned or replaced while restaurant was closed during covid! It's returned!
Pizza was burned on bottom. Onion soup had no flavor, Italian veggie soup had too much salt. Will not return.
I went here for the Mother's Day Brunch and the food was amazing. They had set up a large variety of choices, and my mom loved the steak. Highly recommend!
Hadn''t been here in quite a while. VERY good experience. Went for a meeting with a lady to introduce ourselves to each other. We sat at the bar, had a couple of drinks and chatted for almost 2 hours, ordered and consumed our appetizers which were also excellent. VERY good staff!!!!
Would DEFINITELY go back
Good beer selection and full bar. Food is decent and reasonably priced. Good afterwork stop.
I've been here a few times. Pizzas are still consistently good, beer is on par with a solid brewpub.
We had an exceptional visit! Our friendly server, Christian, made the visit so enjoyable. The meal was delicious and service was fantastic.
Great beer, tasty beer cheese soup. Angela was the star of the evening. She is an awesome server!
Solid. Good beer. Service did well with a big group desserts are good but usually a twist on classics. Cheese curds are amazing.
Ordered curb side carry out food and growlers. It was an excellent experience! The person taking my order was very helpful and friendly. When I arrived they brought everything right to my car and loaded it in the back. The food was terrific! We ordered appetizers and lunch entrees and really enjoyed everything! The craft beer was top notch! We ll definitely be returning customers!!
we had great service and I think that counts for something, but I will say I was disappointed with the food I ordered the beer baron burger medium and it came out well done and dry, the bacon was charred to a crisp that it wasn't enjoyable and the beers we had all had an off flavor. this whiskey sour my wife had was fairly good and I like the atmosphere but the food was a definite miss.
If you are into beers, you'll find a nice selection. Food could be better.
Great "Rare" burger. I haven't been here in years because I don't live near by but remembered how good a burger I had had last time was so I ordered it again. It came out the same Perfect "Rare" I asked for as it had years ago. I know some people won't understand why I'm impressed but getting a rare burger today is challenging. The beef has to be fresh and start at a temperature that isn't too cold, then your cook needs to know what rare really is. Nice work to the kitchen staff. I'm sure they are more than capable of preparing your burger however you like it!
Poor service. I've gone a few times. Last and final qas last Thursday stood there dor a goos 10 min waiting to be seated and the staff just kept walking by and ignoring my group so we left. Tne place was not full and staff were just standing around
Great brew house with a vibrant environment, solid beer selection, and delicious food.
Terrible service and food. Waited 20 mins for drinks to arrive and then 50 mins for food after it was ordered. When the food came it was under cooked and cold. Disappointing and disgusted especially for how pricey their menu is.
Repeat customer. Love going here when we are in town. Burgers and pizzas are great.
If you download their app you get a free pint. Cool for first timers
Brunch is not so good anymore. Limited items, very basic, and no fresh salads.
Good beer! Growler prices are reasonable. Cheese curds are really good too! I would not reccomend the pizza.
A bit pricey but had really good food, beer and service!
Always enjoy going there! Food and Drinks are excellent!
Great place for hangout or fixing a party with lot of people
Went for late lunch. Great service and food. Soup selection was outstanding. Appetizers were appetizing and the main plates were tasty and plentiful. Great beer related decor and a very spacious but warm brew room.
Very interesting atmosphere. The did was delicious and the staff was very knowledgeable about the beer selection. But disappointed in the kids menu, but overall a great place to eat! The spinach and artichoke dip is a must-order!
Yummy
Loved the food 2 sample beers i tried apple & mango
American brew pub. Fun atmosphere but average food quality. We went on Sunday where they have a basic brunch buffet with limited options. I opted for the fried chicken sandwich which was tasty but nothing out of this world. Good casual location for a big group!
Burger and other pub food plus some gourmet daily specials. Homemade chips. Fantastic selection of microbrews.
