Enjoy a wonderful dinner @ Deguido's. Great atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious Italian food.

Considering I heard everyone rave about this place I wasn t over the moon impressed. Service was polite and fast. Food wasn t the best. My pasta was lukewarm when I got it. The chicken breast on top of the chicken fettuccine was overdone and not great. For $14 pasta I expected somewhat better than what I could get elsewhere for less..not impressed. The rolls were good though with the herb butter(although they serve the butter in to go containers oddly enough).

The place was packed!!! Dined at the bar where the tender was on fire! He never stopped running. Light dinner of delightful Cesar salad and mussels. Outstanding. Other patrons enjoyed mountains of pasta. The portions could feed a small family!

DeGidio's has the best Linguine & Mediterranean Mussels I have had.I usually do not like mussels. I try thing no matter if I usually don't like it and I am glad I tried this when a friend offered it. I go to DeGidio's just for this dish. I have had other dishes that are good but I always love the Linguine & Mediterranean Mussels! It is a must if you stop in at DeGidio's.

As it was our first time to DeGidio's, we went in open-minded and my boyfriend and I both left very please with how we were served. From only having to wait less than a minute, during what seemed like a very crowded time, for a table; to how our server was very sweet and took great care of us and our food/drinks. Definitely will be recommending to friends and be returning soon.

Overrated Italian, too much pasta servers are horrible. So many other options I don't know how this place has been there so long.

Food was great; from the bread to the salad with the house dressing to the main course. The service was excellent. A busy Friday night and we didn't have to wait too long for the main course. If you are visiting St. Paul, it is a must stop for excellent Italian-American food. You will not leave disappointed. Guaranteed!!

Excellent food, very fast service, nice atmosphere. I had the chicken Alfredo that was awesome, and it came with fresh bread and butter. They also serve Surly draft beer. I came here on Valentine s day and all tables were reserved; I sat at the bar and my order was ready in less than 5 minutes! Absolutely satisfied, totally recommended!

One of the cities best! I've been coming here for years and have yet to be disappointed. Their red sauce is outstanding!

When you arrive on a Friday night at 7PM without a reservation will you get in? Yes with only a half hour wait. But better yet the bar is large and serves the full menu. We opted only for several appetizers, three to be exact, but filled up like two huge meals would have done. My wife and I enjoyed our visit and the food and service are always top notch!

This is one of my favorite local spots. If you are looking for great food, great atmosphere, at a reasonable price, this is the place. The food portions are huge and the staff is very friendly. We eat lunch here at least once per week.

Very professional atmosphere, it is expensive but it s worth eating out to, and it s close to downtown.

Food was really good! I had the steak and it was the best I ve had in a long time. My wife said the cheese tortellini was a little too rich but was good. The house salad was good. Wait staff was friendly and helpful. We were seated right away with a party of six and the place was packed! Very nice atmosphere and I will be returning even though we live an hour north of there! Well done DeGidio s!!!

Classic in Every Way. Like eating at a neighbor's house. Wonderful food, friendly staff who actually act like they like their jobs and you. Moderate prices. Really enjoyable libations.

Tried the take home family meal. Very good and a good value. Plenty of food. Even cookies to bake at home.

DeGidio's knows what they are doing! This is the first time I have been here and it blew me away - amazing service, spectacular food, fantastic prices. The bartender greeted me right away and engaged in good conversation while I had a glass of wine waiting for my SO. When he arrived we were seated immediately at a cozy (albeit worn) booth. Our server was very attentive and offered great food recommendations. We started with Garlic Cheese Bread which was more cheese than bread, the way it should be. We absolutely LOVED our entrees, Tortelloni Bolognese (SO) and Salmon (me). Even though we were full to capacity, we loved the atmosphere of DeGidio's and stayed for two more drinks after dinner. DeGidio's will be my new go-to place for celebrations and a night out.

Great old school real Italian . Nice atmosphere & comfortable setting . Food was awesome. I had the beef ravioli & the rest of my party had the chicken parmigiano . Everything was homemade & really good . Great service .

In the photos we had ordered 3 starters : bruschetta, stuffed mushrooms, and arancini.
All very good a d flavorful. With our entrees we had seafood linguine and tortellini bolognese paired with peach bellini and blu prosecco, Italy. And finally we ended with a caramel apple bread pudding!

The food was good and the portions ample (most people in our group took home leftovers), the service however left much to be desired.

We had a reservation for our 12 person group, but there was another group occupying the table - it was about half-an-hour after our reservation when we finally got seated by the host who was wearing ripped jeans (not stylishly ripped, more like jeans worn to the point of wearing out the knee). Our waiter was wearing a dirty baseball cap and honestly had the appearance of someone they called in at the last minute rather than someone who thought about dressing for work. When we asked questions about the menu they were often met with "I think ..." or "I'd have to check..." but never an offer to actually confirm the information.

During the 90 minutes we were seated we got two water refills, but only if we asked to have our glass filled. Even though several of us ordered drinks from the bar there was never a chance to order a second drink. The bussers seemed to need an invitation to take away empty plates (some of them wandering aimlessly around the dining room, walking to the back, then making a special trip to the table to collect dirty plates).

When our entrees arrived several staff members were delivering food, but no one seemed to be in charge. When we specifically asked if one of the entrees brought was the Gluten Free prepared version we were told "no" so it went to the person who didn't need gluten free - then a few minutes later (while two people at the table still hadn't received their food) the waiter came back to say it WAS the gluten free dish. An offer was made to correct the issue which took 10 minutes to finally get right. Thankfully the people in our group who are gluten intolerant are not celiac or we would have had a major issue on our hands as the "gluten free" chicken parmesan featured a gluten free pasta, but a bread-crumb breading on the chicken.

To try to remedy the situation the waiter brought out dessert menus and offered some free desserts. One of the people in our group asked about one of the dessert items (turtle lava cake) which the waiter described in detail. Then a few minutes later when we went to order the same dessert we were told "oh, we're out of that one" - sure would have been nice to have been told that when the menus came in the first place OR when you described the dessert in detail!

When I asked to talk with a manager the host seemed dumbfounded by the question and had to think about who I might talk to. I was finally pointed to someone who when I asked did say he was the manager for the evening. He did end up giving us a discount on our bill, but honestly, it did little to make me want to come back to the restaurant.

Tortellini Balinese is exceptional also their stuffed mushrooms.

The service , Food and prices were overall good and affordable.

Classic Italian food! This place has been around forever, and for good reason, the food is so comforting, tasty, and inexpensive! Portions are gigantic as well. I gotta visit her at least once a month.

We walked out of Mancini's after their service was completely absent/brain dead in their bar area. As soon as we entered Degidio's we were immediately greeted by the bartender whom introduced us to our seating options. We went upstairs and the hostess immediately greeted us. It was shockingly wonderful to receive such awesome service. I had the recommended Bolognese Tortellini which was super yummy. Atmosphere and vibe were superb. Will definitely be back!!

My meals have ALWAYS been very good to excellant. Tonight chicken parm was a little over baked. Delicious though.

Be careful in the parking lot. My wife fell and broke her leg there last Monday. I saw a door at the back of the building so I parked back there. When inside, I then saw the main entrance from the parking lot. No, we're not going to sue them, it was just a freak accident. The food was pretty good, but she dropped the leftover container she was carrying so we didn't get to reheat that later. DiGidio's sure beats hospital food though!

Very good Italian food! Had the blackened shrimp fettuccini, it was delicious. Prices we're decent.four of us for under $100. Staff was nice. It was busy when we went at dinnertine so be prepared for a little wait. Will definately go back!

Degidios always does it right! Everytime it's good. They changed their menu recently but they'll still do some of the items the old way if you ask. Love this place!

Had an impromptu date night with family and the food was ok. The tum off was the I'm gnat in my water and all that was offered was sorry would you like a new water??? Wow! Disappointed that it was just discarded as no big deal. No I don't want another water. Thank you...

Chef JEFF is an amazingly incredible chef. Every thing he makes is very delicious.
RAY is very friendly and she s has great service.

DeGid s has been here serving awesome, classic Italian food since 1933 there is a reason they have been here this long and that is the incredible quality of the food and the great, accommodating service. Our family has had many special get-togethers here and will continue to enjoy the hospitality, amazing food and great service for another generation or three. Thanks to all at DeGidio s!

This place is always so great! Affordable Italian food and large portions that you just can't beat. Shout out the our server Ben who was great!

My family is obsessed with this place (myself included). The only complaint I consistently hear is that the Tortellini Bolognese doesn t fill people up, but it s sooo good!

Came here for my birthday and I would come back regardless of the occasion! The bruschetta was really good and so were the entrees. A couple just one off type things though. Our server was sort of clueless when it came to the wine menu but she recovered by offering to bring us a sample. Food came quickly which was good given how hungry we were. Lastly, a dessert menu was offered, which we accepted, but she never brought us the dessert menu. Otherwise, this restaurant was great!

The Godmother Salad was Delicious, meatballs best in town.

A bit on the pricey side....but you definitely get what you pay for. This place would fair VERY well down here in St Pete, FL. I have been here twice now in the last year and a half. I literally went OUT of my way to get back here to get that TORTELLONI BOLOGNESE dish. Its the best thing since gummy candy. I love their pizza fries too. My wife got this spicy penne dish that was spicy and great. Our bill was a bit of a surprise....and to be honest, the 1st time we came, your dishes were about 30% larger compared to this second visit. I'm not going to knock them a star because i'm just going to assume that they are tying to make it through this COVID stuff. Oh, our waitress was AWESOME and was right there at the right times.

Great Italian restaurant, outstanding service, as Good as it Gets.

Have been here dozens and dozens of times. Have yet to be disappointed with anything whatsoever. Simply one of my favorites!
