Hello, my name is Veronica . & I would review this Las Vegas defense group a five. Even though I didn t retain their services. My case is as follows: my dad was requesting Gardening services from a person who provides service to one of my neighbors and he asked to see the space where My dad needed service. My dad said it was in my backyard. That My dad would first have to restrain my German Shepard/husky dog to prevent the dog from running around or jumping on him while he examine the site of service. He agreed my dad tied my dog. Walked back to the fence to invite the Gardner in then realize my dog had freed himself from his leash and as my dog ran towards as to greet them the gardener panicked and shoved my dad in front of him and continued to shove him back and fourth instead of stepping outside the fence. So my dog at this point was in protective mode and bit the Gardner in his stomach. I immediately ran outside and became aware of the situation and called 911 and the dog pound and reports where made . Pictures were taken. Later the gardener filed a lawsuit stating that my dog bit his face and neck and stomach and that he s traumatized and needs $15,000 to relieve himself . However in the reports and pictures taken that day there is only his true report of exactly what happened that day which is he got bit once and slightly in the stomach cops determined and the dog pound determined it to be minor and so im going in to court for a dismissal for the one bite rule Nevada has . In which the law group informed me about. Since my dog has never bitten anyone ever and My dad did not act with negligence. My dad did restrained my dog but he managed to free himself and this unfortunate event occurred. So I m hoping to get this case dismissed.

Called them Friday evening, received a phone call Saturday setting up an appointment over the phone with an attorney on Sunday. It is Monday afternoon and no one bothered to call, wasted my time.

Las Vegas Defense Group is the firm to go to! They have very kind people working there. From the moment I walked in to the moment I walked out I felt cared for. The receptionist made sure I was taken care of right away. I was taken care by Danny, which by the way is such an awesome guy ! He was very understanding and answered all my questions!

I retained the Las Vegas Defense Group for representation in my case. I was charged with embezzlement of an automobile $3500+ because a car I leased for a friend was never returned. They assigned an attorney to my case that didn't do ANYTHING. She didn't even ask my side of the story. Like she didn't even care that the situation was devastating to my career. I'm a healthcare worker and in this state, if charged and convicts for a list of various crimes, including embezzlement, I couldn't work for 7 years in the field. This was my first time having any run in's with the law, so I figured having representation would be my best bet to keep such a charge off my record. Throughout the proceedings there was NO communication. When there was, I'd ask questions pertaining to my defense, such as speaking with the substation where I filed the stolen vehicle report. Her response, which I will NEVER forget, "Oh, you reported the car stolen?" This was a detail that I told her when the court proceedings started. So the woman didn't even listen to what I had to say when I decided she needed to know my side of things. After that I tried going down to the office to fire that attorney. I spoke with an office manager, who's idea of managing was giving this particular attorney excuses for her actions. I argue with this manager for about 30 minutes with no satisfaction that my wishes would be carried out. At the end of our meeting, he promised that my representation would "shape up" and I'd be satisfied with her performance. So I WAS NOT ALLOWED TO FIRE MY REPRESENTATION AND GET NEW COUNSEL WITHIN THE GROUP!!! Needless to say, what should have been a cake walk and a warning for me turned out to be a nightmare. Not only was I unhappy with the "deal" that I was advised to take (misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct), I AM STILL HAVING ISSUES WITH MY RECORD 2 YEARS AFTER THE CASE CLOSED. THE BOTCHED NOT ONLY THE REPRESENTATION PART OF MY CASE BUT THEY TOOK THEIR SWEET TINE FILING AMENDED PAPERWORK FOR MY CHARGES AND RECORD. Now that my career has been flushed because of my decision to hire this law group, I cannot pass a simple background check to rent an apartment. BOTH my felony/gross misdemeanor AND misdemeanor charges come up as convictions. To make matters worse, when I go to look up my case, it was reassigned in July 2018 when I thought my case closed in January 2018. I am trying to expunge my record and CANNOT because it hasn't been 2 years yet. It would have been 2 years if it had been handled properly and all paperwork been filed with the courts in a timely manner. So career ruined and can't even get myself an apartment because of the incompetence of this law group!

Since then, their door has always been open to provide consultation and advice, often without an appointment . I highly recommend this firm, who truly care about their clients. I wasted almost 7k through these guys. This law firm immediately convinced me that If I paid a all inclusive fee of almost 7k they would represent me up to my preliminary hearing. They said within the 7k fee it would include a private detective to look into my case as well as a unlimited meetings with the lawyers at the law firm. They also guaranteed me I could get in touch with my Lawer during the week at most times during the day and sometimes at night. I signed up as I was very excited to be able to have access to these attorneys when needed without paying a typical retainer fee. Once I signed up and paid them they immediately became very slow at returning my calls. Sometimes it would take me texting and calling the lawyer for 5 days straight before I got a single text reply back in which half the time the Lawer would reply I ll look into it and then never get back in touch with me. Attempting to set up in person meetings with them was near impossible as they would try to deter me from scheduling appointments by saying they would try to get the lawyer to handle the meeting over the phone. When I was lucky enough to meet with my Lawer in the office I found that they were always in a rush and would try to keep the meeting under 15 minuets. When I would ask questions about my case they would hastily answer them with a bit of a attitude which would make me scared to ask any further questions which caused me to feel nervous and uninformed during the period of my case. Before I signed up the lawyers made me empty promises by saying my case was a home run and they were 99 percent sure they would get me exactly the deal I wanted. Once they got this all inclusive fee they immediately pushed me to accept the first deal the prosecution team offered me. I ve spoke with many other people in my situation who got much better deals then I did going through FREE public defender. Literally moment I paid Las Vegas defense group they urged me to take the first deal from the prosecution team so they would not have to do anymore all inclusive work. They used my fear and anxiety of the case to scare me into taking the deal. It was a pure manipulation tactic. The worst person I dealt with at LV Defense group was a man who claimed he used to be a detective who was working as a advisor to the lawyers. He had short black hair and was by far the pushiest salesman there. He had a arrogant attitude and had a way of making me feel stupid for asking questions about my own case. Lastly the private detective who was suppose to do provide me and my lawyers with powerful information regarding my case did absolutely nothing claiming that she could not tell me or my lawyers anything she found out due to legality laws. I questioned why they persuaded me to sign up based on this private investigator finding out this valuable information if she can t legally share any of it with you or the lawyers. They avoided my question all together answering my question with more legal jargon used in a rhetoric fashion. Please do not fall for their sales tactics like I did. They do not care about you or your case. They are simply interested in a quick pay day. I believe they are only interested in working hard on high profile cases that they can use for marketing purposes. If your not facing murder charges or something to that degree they will not fight for you as they claim. This law firm is a complete scam and really fits the cliche Image of lawyers you see and hear about in cinema and other forms of Hollywood media.

It was a great experience working with all of them. I called 702-DEFENSE and was greeted friendly by the staff. They always made me feel comfortable and helped me understand the defense strategies that were being implicated. To my surprise, it worked!
