Deer Meadows is a great facility that goes above and beyond the standard of care. They have an amazing staff that show great passion for their work and compassion for their residents and short term patients. They have a great rehab team that works with each individuals needs to really help them meet their goals. The facility is dedicated to the best outcomes for each individual and their family members. It is a beautiful facility with large semi private and private rooms. It is kept meticulously clean by the staff, you can tell the pride they have by the cleanliness of the facility. I recommend this facility if you are looking for a team approach in care that goes above and beyond for your family member.

First off my Uncle's case manger, Amy, is very rude. She is clearly just trying to get more money out of us so she is suggesting things that are unnecessary. My Uncle is clear headed, coherent, and knows what he is saying. He is fine. He doesn't work. He is home all day. We are able to go out and do errands for him. It's not like he is comatose. So we disagree with everything she was suggesting because bottom line he does not need it plus you are asking us to drop our whole life, and get snarky when we don't feel comfortable doing it. We can't just drop everything and for something that you are just exaggerating because, again, money. Sorry, Amy ,nice try. She didn't like our answer so she is now threatening us saying she is going to send out protective services to check on him everyday. You are clearly trying to get more money from us through this devastating time and I think it is gross that all you guys think about is how to get more money. Where are the people who actually care?? Who actually knows what's best?? Who can understand how hard it is to make these decisions and then on top of that threatening us because we refuse to help give you a bigger pay day?? Also the nurses there are just as rude. Everytime my Mom would call all she got was attitude. They get angry at my Mom when she would ask them to repeat what they were saying because she didn't understand them at first, plus my Mom is very hard of hearing. My Uncle is complaining of mistreatment from the nurses and staff members. From what I have gather in these past couple of weeks of my Uncle being there, Deer Meadows is a hot mess. I pray to God that there is some decent staff members because the people we have dealt with nasty, nasty, nasty, nasty people. Don't ever mess with my family. Don't ever talk to my Mom like she's a little kid. How dare you. If unfortunately my Uncle will need extra help again and they suggest Deer Meadows we will say no. We refuse to send him or recommend Deer Meadows to anyone. Get your ish together!!!!

This place is the absolute worst my gramma came here a few months ago and then started claiming that patients are punched in the face and beaten my gramma said she was punched in the face and I believe this is true because this isn t the first time I ve heard someone say something like that about this place never ever send yourself or loved ones here The elderly s are left and dirty diapers from hours if not days and also left without water they would also take meals when the meals weren t finished being eaten and also take down your fake reviews

I appreciate the many caring staff who have worked through this difficult time. We understood how difficult it was to deliver food daily to individual rooms and that quality would suffer. However, now that the dining room has reopened, i am hearing daily complaints that the food is almost always served cold and sometimes dry and inedible. Burnt ham was served for easter dinner that could not be eaten it was so tough. Your marketing sounds great but what you advertise is not what the residents experience daily. Please do better. We supplement moms food so she always has an alternative. Unfortunately, not everyone has this option. Would you want to eat a cold grilled cheese sandwich probably grilled hours before the meal and made with only one piece of cheese?

I would like to take this time to acknowledge ALL of the essential worker , who put their own health at risk to care for other. It takes a special type of hero to do that. My mother stayed for about 14 days, as she had been diagnosed with COVID . I of course was beside myself. I was fortunate enough to meet Anne Rumsey who gave me her personal cell if I ever needed it and welcomed my mom with open optimistic arms, assuring her she would be ok. Not knowing what the next day would bring. Or even if she would survive. She even FaceTimed her as soon as my mom Ari Ed so I could see her and help rest her fears. THe attending Dr.Spector kept me well informed as Did the nursing team , CNAs, housekeeping, front desk , dietary, physical therapy and so many more. I would like to also acknowledge Malcom Back the administrator, Dolores Martin( who ran the covid unit fearlessly) Mary and a Maria who supported my mother and gave me peace so I could sleep at night. Mom was been home for about 2 months now , and is back to herself! She is a survivor and I owe it to the Team at Deer Meadows. The team put themselves before anyone else, and this should be commended. I am thankful I made the choice to go to Deer Meadows& so thankful for the team there who went beyond what there job requirements were. God bless you all!!

I have lived here for over a year. The staff is our family since we were on lockdown since this covid began. Things weren t perfect,,we took care of each other. Fought through it. We need to open the up to the public so we can see our loved ones.

If I could give this facility a zero I would. Communication is just plan awful. What they did to my father was borderline criminal. Please do not consider this place to put your loved ones for rehab.

My aunt Martha is a resident here and the care she receives is like family. I am really her last family and due to my international travels I don t get to see her as much as I would like, but the employees are so loving to her and take great care of her. My aunt tells me how happy she is all the time and how clean it is. A clean facility is so important to me to keep my aunt safe! Thanks so much for everything Deer meadows!

I was nervous for the tour of this building from previous experience is elsewhere I have to say I m very impressed with maintenance of property, level of professionalism, and kind engaging staff. I know that we made the right choice in selecting this location for skilled nursing care. I appreciate the hospitality shown and extra measures in place to encourage recovery in the safest way possible for all. Highly recommend Deer Meadows for all skilled nursing and extended care needs!! Thank You!!

May God continue to bless and cover the staff at Deer Meadows. My sister is in there now and has been treated very well and is healing . The Therapy department makes her look forward to regaining her strength .While on FaceTime with her I have heard the housekeeping,nursing and admissions girl her spirits and hearing her laugh is so comforting to me.the woman in admissions even brought her a jelly donut and coffee on her way to work on Friday I feel safe with her there. I will keep you all in my prayers& have God protect you by his Holy Spirit
