I would like to take this time to acknowledge ALL ...

I would like to take this time to acknowledge ALL of the essential worker , who put their own health at risk to care for other. It takes a special type of hero to do that. My mother stayed for about 14 days, as she had been diagnosed with COVID . I of course was beside myself. I was fortunate enough to meet Anne Rumsey who gave me her personal cell if I ever needed it and welcomed my mom with open optimistic arms, assuring her she would be ok. Not knowing what the next day would bring. Or even if she would survive. She even FaceTimed her as soon as my mom Ari Ed so I could see her and help rest her fears. THe attending Dr.Spector kept me well informed as Did the nursing team , CNAs, housekeeping, front desk , dietary, physical therapy and so many more. I would like to also acknowledge Malcom Back the administrator, Dolores Martin( who ran the covid unit fearlessly) Mary and a Maria who supported my mother and gave me peace so I could sleep at night. Mom was been home for about 2 months now , and is back to herself! She is a survivor and I owe it to the Team at Deer Meadows. The team put themselves before anyone else, and this should be commended. I am thankful I made the choice to go to Deer Meadows& so thankful for the team there who went beyond what there job requirements were. God bless you all!!
