I usually visit when I need snacks or specialty items that local supermarkets don't carry but the last time I visited was an hour before their closing time. Everywhere I walked, the janitor kept sweeping in front of me. You know the superstition of sweep a woman's feet? Yeah, he did not care. He just kept sweeping and when he needed to get under a fixture, all he said was excuse me in a rude tone and without apologizing when he got in our way. The second point was the cashier. She did not greet us, which Dean & Delecua used to be known for their amazing customer service, she processed our payment and with a weird turn(turning towards the back of the store and not facing us), she handed the bag as if she was going go throw it at us with one hand. No thank you for shopping with them. No goodnights. Terrible. I don't ever want to shop at this location ever again. I will update this post with the cashier's name later.

Great service and Exceptionally delicious morsels around every corner. Especially love the foie gras, the Spanish cheese and the potato croquettes. The Duxelles are an excellent vegan choice. And yes they are pricey however this is a high end, quality store so for all those complaining about price, quality costs money. Put up or keep walking. 2 thumbs way up to Dean & Deluca.

Fantastic Deli in SoHo, offering you everything you need to get through your day, week or month. I was so happy to find Dean & DeLuca for something a little more upmarket in the deli department along Broadway downtown.
The coffee is fantastic and the atmosphere is lively and welcoming. Will definitely be heading back for a coffee and to grab some great fresh fruit and sweet treats!

This place is one of my 'must go to places' in New York city. Their sweets section with the chocolate chip balls is one of my favourites. I always feel luxurious in there as there are products from all over the world and you can get them all in just one place. Deli, meats, vegetables and even plants. They also have utensils that you might want to cook up a dinner for your special guest.

Magnificent option to get all kinds of varieties for lovers of quality gastronomic products. Everything from sushi to donuts, but especially cheeses, cold cuts and baked goods are a treat for the palate. It is not cheap, but it is not wasted.

I visited NY for the first time in 2001 before 9.11.
Personally, listening to jazz at Village Vanguard and shopping at SOHO Dean & Deluca (hereinafter referred to as D & D) was the purpose for Manhattan.
Speaking of the SOHO area, we have not yet opened a UNIQLO store, and a story of such a time that Ryuichi Sakamoto would have traveled to the book Mamura, a Japanese buckwheat.

Supermarket In the industry, ZABAR'S of Upper West kept the No. 1 position of a long-established store, and also the year when Whole Foods Market finally advanced to Manhattan.
D & D has been steadily consolidating the earth base since opening in 1977 as a high-class foodstuff shop feels like a celebrity, and in the next 02 years, the first store in Marunouchi is opened in Japan by interior GEORGE'S and ITOCHU Corporation .

The introduction became long, that is, in the translation that D & D original goods were very pleased as NY souvenirs in 2001, for example, if you make SOHO blend for coffee beans, or make chocolate D & D original brand, there is fun to choose I guess.

It is now time for a popular restaurant in NY to make an advance in Tokyo, but D & D can be said to be a special mention as its pioneer.

I just recently stepped foot into this amazing Dean & Deluca in Soho and it's now my favorite place to shop whether it be for a quick soup or actual items to make dinner tonight. I love the fresh fish and beautiful looking meats of all sorts. Fresh donuts made daily so watch out for those of you who are diet cheaters.

I just don't understand why this place has to be so expensive! You're not getting anything significantly better or fancier (sometimes more uncommon things pop up) than other markets. I would only shop here out of desperation. If they don't break the bank, they'll drive you bonkers with too long lines and understaffed registers.

Probably one of my all time favorite grocery shopping experiences. Be forewarned, everything is way more expensive than you think it will be, so steer clear of anything generic or mass produced that you can pick up somewhere else (most everything is marked up - partly for quality reasons, and partly for that - yeah I shop here appeal, I'm sure...) The meat/deli counters, super fresh and varied produce, and made-in-store foods are the best. Cannot rave enough, have tried countless variations of condiments (raspberry jam with thyme, every kind of mustard, and even some seasoning blends), prepared meals/sandwiches, cured meats, foie gras/exotic game meats (if that's your thing) and hard-to-find beverages/frozen products. Splurge on a lunch, or selectively pick out grocery items to pepper into your weekly shopping list - can't go wrong.

love everything in the store but the staff couldn t care less about their attitude and speed of service. it does not take 5 min just to communicate the order when the person is standing next to you. Why is there one person on the register during prime time morning rush? There must be a Union here because the employees do not seem to care whatsoever
