De Voortse Herberg Wok, Grill & Buffet restaurant Review

For the third x here in three years because we do not live in the neighborhood we know where to find the inn again.
Great food and drinks for a very reasonable price. So continue in particular.

Fine for once. It is very busy and small which gives a somewhat negative experience when you walk past the buffet. It is also well organized. You can grab your own drink and the price is in proportion to the quality.

Wide choice and good food. Something for everyone. A note, you have to clear your own stuff. That is a choice. For the rest I would eat there again.

Great eatery. Don't expect a culinary tour de force is a buffet restaurant with fairly standard dishes. But good food.

Good food in a nice atmosphere with a friendly management and staff!
Food is fresh and replenished quickly.

Food was cold, steak chewy, unfriendly staff and a terrible atmosphere. So you should NOT eat here

A restaurant without soul. It is far from the bad wok of the Netherlands. The spiciest sauce is a joke.

Nice and cozy occasion, good food and good. Disposing of the same dishes, but do not give it, drink an unlimited drink and definitely go again.

Little variation, no flavor to the sauces when stir-frying, you indicate that a little more garlic may be chopped half a bowl on your plate. Never come here again for me.

Yesterday with 14 people an experience, previously booked, package with covered wagon and half an hour extra experience in the inn.
We all arrived half an hour late due to a major accident on the A1, causing a huge traffic jam. The owner was informed by telephone that we were not going to meet the agreed time.
This was picked up very well by the owner and the driver of the covered wagon, so that we could still experience the entire program, great.
Just a quick drink and then into the covered wagon.
The trip is fun and a great start to everything, you will be completely detached. The driver enjoys his work and on the way some goodies are poured during the break.
Then we could sit outside in the sunshine and received a brief explanation from the owner about the course of events. You can choose from as many tasty dishes and drinks, just what you want and as often as you want. For each his own. Plate empty, then you take the used plate and cutlery again and you can start filling a clean plate again. Drinks as much as you want.
Delicious ice cream, fruit and goodies for after and if you still feel like tea or coffee, no problem.
In short: with all 14 people (between 30 and 65 years) had a very nice time in the Voortse Herberg where the owner and every staff member are very friendly and helpful.

the worst wok I have ever experienced. first have to go and look at other wok restaurants, to call themselves a wok restaurant.

Really not to eat. Dried out salad bar , soft things that should be crispy. Dry sushi . Chewy meat. Got up and left.
Waste of money. Told honestly to owner and did not give a shug, he was not sorry. We also received no compensation.

Paid for 2 hours relatively little but that is also reflected in the buffet and in the quality of some products. Little choice but quite good taste.

Very special run around 1930 and they are already closing can no longer eat here despite a closing time of 2200 hours. Advice: Close and no longer open.

The employees are very friendly, that is actually the only positive. Furthermore, it was very disappointing. Little choice ... sushi was ready made and only two small plates. Dessert also didn't mean much. It is not what we are used to from woks / world kitchens. Certainly not worth the money.

Reserved through the Fork. At that time (Sunday 6.30 pm) there were no more than 10 people. Very little variation in food and not clear what was in some of the containers. Even the mini-fritters seemed warmed. Not to eat. Not a friendly staff.

Read a lot of negative reviews, and can't find me in them. Okay it is not a restaurant with a Michelin star, but you can eat and drink there for good money.

Really all inclusive (incl beer) for a good price. The choice was not very large, the food was mediocre and the atmosphere not very special.

Last again delicious eaten at the ski lodge and that thanks to the facebook like and share action thank you perennial inn .... we come very soon again good food ......

Adequate choice, neat service, good value for money.

Unfortunately it was very disappointing. Small assortment, it is a kind of Chinese restaurant and snack bar in 1. Food is not beautifully presented, all in closed containers. Ice is grainy because it thaws and freezes again, puffs were half frozen. 1 star because the staff were very friendly. We will not be back.

This week we ate at the Inn for the first time. And that will certainly not be the last time.
Nice welcome, friendly staff and pleasantly decorated. The "all you can eat" package including free drinks is excellent. This is definitely worth repeating!

No cozy restaurant. Moderate buffet. Not worth repeating in our opinion.

Very disappointed, had been here a few times in the past and very satisfied, that's why I thought I'd go eat with my friend and daughter. But it was certainly no longer what it was, the service was unfriendly, not even a word when leaving except for the waitress who was friendly. I think vanilla ice cream was no longer good, just like the feta, the salad discolored the food cold and little choice, many dishes seemed ready to eat and the chicken was dry in short, we are no longer a waste of money here

Have a very bad experience with De Voortse Herberg. The choices are limited. The food is very tasteless and very salty. The food is absolutely not fresh and therefore limp and chewy. You have to pour drinks yourself from a pack. The ice is too hot and full of ice. Despite the relatively low price, the restaurant is absolutely not recommended.

All you can eat with a children's play area. Friendly staff and a reasonable price. The choice is fairly limited

What was supposed to be a pleasant evening became a drama. We have never experienced such a mess. Unfriendly chefs, the food in the bins came out of the microwave so cold and has been in it for hours. Plates smelly and glasses were dirty. If the food inspection department comes along, they can close immediately. We were all 6 happy that we were outside again

The staff, the price and how smoothly everything ran, I have little to criticize, great concept. The ambiance, on the other hand, was mediocre, but that allowed us to set up a nice new home without people feeling the same. The food tasted just like nothing, but we had a great time so that compensates a lot. Lambi thought it was an anti-social fear tent, but that says more about his behavior than about the fear tent (because of course it is). Fine wok restaurant, good ambiance. The Chinese part of the buffet does not have much choice in terms of Chinese dishes. The wok part is fine, plenty of choice in meat, vegetables and sauces. Buffet is also fine, for the fries lover and for the healthy eaters. Desserts fine but could be more extensive. A must to eat. Price and choice ratio is good!
