Yesterday with 14 people an experience, previously booked, package with covered wagon and half an hour extra experience in the inn.
We all arrived half an hour late due to a major accident on the A1, causing a huge traffic jam. The owner was informed by telephone that we were not going to meet the agreed time.
This was picked up very well by the owner and the driver of the covered wagon, so that we could still experience the entire program, great.
Just a quick drink and then into the covered wagon.
The trip is fun and a great start to everything, you will be completely detached. The driver enjoys his work and on the way some goodies are poured during the break.
Then we could sit outside in the sunshine and received a brief explanation from the owner about the course of events. You can choose from as many tasty dishes and drinks, just what you want and as often as you want. For each his own. Plate empty, then you take the used plate and cutlery again and you can start filling a clean plate again. Drinks as much as you want.
Delicious ice cream, fruit and goodies for after and if you still feel like tea or coffee, no problem.
In short: with all 14 people (between 30 and 65 years) had a very nice time in the Voortse Herberg where the owner and every staff member are very friendly and helpful.
