Purchased a Whaly 370 and Torqeedo 1003C from Boot Akkrum. Unfortunately the engine gave an error message after two cruises, which was disappointing in itself. However, the quick follow-up by the seller, Boot Akkrum and De Stille Boot, as importer, meant that the engine was repaired within 3 days and returned to us. Very pleased with the fine treatment by these two companies!
Last year I bought an Honwave 3.20 m rubber dinghy and a Torqeedo 1103 short tail electric motor. Very satisfied with this choice.
Everything fits perfectly in our Suzuki Gross on the rear seat and trunk space. Plus our 2 Labradors and my wife. In short, because the edges are often shallow. Now sailed 6 times, but 1 minus point. One battery is really too little, you do not sail well away. You are constantly looking at the screen. Because I also have to sail back. So you sail restlessly and not so far.
May 20, 2020 called De StilleBoot for a second battery.
5 weeks delivery time. Well, now with the beautiful weather. Not because the batteries are so hard over the counter because .900.00 is not a cat .... s. Dealers don't have them either.
There is a workaround. You can make a package of Lion batteries yourself, but then you are not much cheaper and you have loose wires.
It works fine. If you have hobby airplanes, you can use those batteries with an indicator / buzzer, because you cannot discharge Lion batteries.
I am also very satisfied with the StilleBoot. Recently I got a cap from the engine that had fallen to the floor and a piece off it, which I sent for free.
Incredibly good service received with a defective product, which was replaced without problems and very quickly. Nothing but praise and positive words for this company! It is great that some companies still consider service to be of paramount importance.
