Excellent. Very little of such classical heritage accommodation addresses. No minibar, you can have a drink in the atmospheric rooms. No TV, and therefore usually a less nagging, spoiled audience!

You can eat supper here, I enjoyed the deser so much, porsonaal is also very nice. The only downside is that there is a beeping sound in a room with a fireplace.

I organized a 1 on 1 coaching day here. This location is beautifully situated in a quiet area with lots of forest. It is an older building and still exudes that atmosphere. There was a lovely fire and you can smell it. Very hospitable staff.

The lunch was delicious pure with ingredients from our own garden. During lunch a squirrel skipped through the garden and a woodpecker landed. So beautiful!

We were in the small room, but they also have a large hall and hotel rooms.

This location is a gift for any nature lover who loves peace and pure food.

Had dinner tonight at De Jufferen Lunsingh
in Westervelde. Nota bene on recommendation.
The reception was not inviting.
The sweetbread in the starter was poorly peeled, scanty and mediocre in flavor. Gambas were not surprising. The main courses,
Lamb in different ways, with different garnishes was tasteless.
The mullet baked on the skin was dry and tasteless. Served with risotto and mushrooms that were not fried and all presented tasteless and messy. After tasting everything and closing the cutlery, it took too long before someone came to inquire at the table. I have given my comment and this has been discussed in the kitchen and as feedback we were told they did not agree but we did not have to pay. Our vision, don't eat there! And send the staff on guest friendliness courses. When we were home I sent a letter to the management and received no response whatsoever. How bad can you deal with guests. Mistakes can be made, but this is still a hit.

What a beautiful location .. meanwhile attended many meetings at this place unfortunately not slept or eaten but this will probably happen again the location is very inviting.

My favorite weekend hotel in the north of the Netherlands - and I really don't want to reveal this secret.

Our attic room is very spacious, with beautiful details and above all a beautiful bathroom with a beautiful bath. It is very cozy in the evening, with little lights on, sleeping under the thatched roof and open the windows in the morning and smell the forest.

We ate 5 courses with wine pairing, each course was delicious and very tasty. We might have liked a little more explanation about the wines, but that is mainly due to our curiosity. In any case, the wine choice was very good! The conservatory is very intimate, classic, with real candles in the candlestick and fresh flowers on the table. The next morning we saw a nice employee filling the vases very carefully. Very nice that the request for a candle for the birthday was not forgotten, we even received a beautiful shower of sparks at the table by the chef.

The breakfast is of course also well taken care of, generous and also suitable for late risers. Despite it being a weekday, we totally had that Sunday afternoon feeling.

Many compliments to all the nice employees, from the waiters to the chef, the owner and all the other nice people we saw in between. We felt very comfortable and decided at breakfast to come and stay every season!

Dining outside in good weather. A nice, somewhat worn out country house where you can eat well at a reasonable price.

Very high class food. You will find this special gem in the middle of nowhere in the Drenthe countryside. Well worth a detour.
