i have asked for help from my union for 2 years about a ongoing situation at work and to no avail!!! they do not help you they sit back and just let you handle it on your own!!worst union ever

By far the worst union. People are super rude. No one can answer a question. I have been calling for the last 2 weeks trying to get a response to a simple question about whether the union will reimburse me for something and not only have I gotten the run around. I get hung up on and spoken to rudely. I'm going to be cancelling my membership very soon. Just waiting to clear something up.

Unless you are a big wig, or have been a member for many years, don't expect their support in a tough situation even if you are in the right. In fact, I have a strong suspicion that they choose how to represent members based on their seniority, position, and most disgracefully, on whether or not you pay your dues. My experience with DC37 has confirmed everything I already believed about compulsory public unions. Absolutely shameful.

I'm sorry I have to give these people a whole star but definitely get a half 1/2 of they have poor customer service poor reps and definitely no manners and very rude I have a case here that I'm supposed to be dealing with and I've been getting a run around and I'm very unhappy they need to reset all the the union staff members poor Atticus on customer relations but yet they get their money from your paycheck and you wait longtime to get things done never on time with meetings definitely not for the workers

Terrible customer service. There was some confusion when registering my mother for some Educational courses and this rude/unprofessional lady was literally shouting through the phone to make her point. I never understand some City workers. They are there to serve the public, yet they have no grace and skill on how to. Sad, because most of the individuals that act in that nature should know better (as adults).

I call several Times no answer not even returning my call...

The most unhelpful union ever. I feel as if I pay dues for no reason. When I call to ask questions I am treated disrespectfully by some and make it feel as if we do not matter. Meanwhile you have the president of the union living like a king. Waste of money.

Terrible, Horrible service. They care more about smoozing with management than the worker. They have no power to enact any fightback on behalf of the employee.

Absolute worst, I ve called so many times and no one answers the phone for the membership department.
