I loved this space! Super beautiful. 4 floors of exhibits. It is free for the family, unless you want to check out on of the specialized exhibits for a low cost. Detra was fantastic, I had a lovely conversation with her. She made my experience there even more lovely. Fantastic collection of rotating pieces. There is also an incredible park space out front with tons of food trucks & vibrant people to grab a quick lunch on the lawn! Would recommend a few hours here at least!

I had quite an enjoyable time at DMA and will def be going back! The tickets are free and I highly recommend reserving online. It was super easy to do and when we got to the museum all we had to do was get our mobile tickets scanned and we were in. No waiting in lines like that! The museum had a few sections closed off for repair but otherwise I greatly enjoyed art from around the world. I mostly spent time in the European art section but there is work from all over the world and dating back thousands of years to enjoy and absorb. A must - especially for the price!

Good museum to visit while in Dallas. It is free but requires a ticket that can be emailed to you. Opens at 11 and was not very busy given the size of the place. Exhibits varied from all over the world. Had a couple wow factor items but many items were just pleasant to view. 15 bucks to park in the deck, a cheap date for sure. Went through in about two hours and felt like I saw it all. Enjoy.

Free to the general public, excluding special exhibits, it's a great way to spend an hour or two of your afternoon. Beautifully curated and organized, it's a great way to view a vast array of work in both time and scale without the pretentiousness of a larger museum. It's a great introductory into popular artists and time periods that may just bring out the secret lover of humanities in you.

I was so shocked that this museum was free! They had some really good pieces. I was impressed with the size too. The layout was a little funky, but overall it was a nice facility! They had a good collection of abstract art, which I really enjoyed. They also had quite a few well-known artists too which was awesome.
Downsides were that it was really busy when we went on a Saturday afternoon and parking was a bit of a challenge too since it was our first time in the area. The experience was worth it though!
