Rick Ross Pool Party 4/28 12pm-6pm...

This place was nice.. very, very nice. Been in Vegas for nine years from Indiana South Bend I should say naptown Fort Wayne Gary Kokomo you heard them all !!! Hammond ?? We/from the Midwest so it was nice to see Rick Ross (the little bit that I did see him) nice twerking from the females... as you can see from the pictures$# Security is pretty good. I referred the security guards by name; there's a Josh there a Chris,I believe.
****Only thing I would like to have more knowledge of is: How to get food????
I don't know if that is only for Cabanassssss.... but I wanted to order food and eat 2! Oh along with the tables. So, check it out. I believe something's happening every Sunday. I will update with more information on that when I find out. I really enjoyed myself, y'all check it out.

I am very unhappy with the organization of this pool Party. My experience was very negative. My friends and I were on the list for this party and I received a confirmation message that the party would start at 11. When we got there, what was our surprise that the party would not start until 12 but it was not allowed to access with bags or backpacks? for being 'too big'. It's a party at the pool, what kind of purse do you want ?? !! In addition to that nothing is specified of the bags in the DressCode.
I do not recommend this party at all, a lot of disorganization. Much better the Pool Party of the Flamingo!

The show was great. Atmosphere was fun and up lifting. BUT don t order patron. They water down their alcohol. Ordered 3 shots that did nothing. I ve been at establishments like this before that will water down their tequilas to make it go longer. ASK FOR THE SHOTS THAT AREN T WATERED DOWN.

Very nice place (music according to your tastes!) You control a little exaggerated but in the end everything is so super controlled in America. Costs a bit high but it is still Las Vegas. Courteous staff. You can't bring bags of towels and nothing that can hurt anyone. Not even the camera tripod !! Leave your backpacks for free at the Lobby of the Mandalay Hotel. I had a hamburger primo the first one had different hair inside, I pointed it out and they made me another one. I bought the ticket on the Internet for a man and woman couple 66 including tax and we had the open bar until 2pm! Which I didn't know !!

If I could give this place ZERO stars that is exactly what it would be... on the 4th of july I rented a cabanna from Oliver (pool vip host) for a little over $2000.00 we were promised a mister system in our cabbana to cool off from the sun. Upon arrival we immediately inquired about the system not being on. Staffimmediately begun giving us the run around saying maintenance would be there shortly to fix it...2-3 hours later still not working.I then asked the large white security gaurd that I'm pretty sure takes steroids and he got mad and pushed me in the cabanna/I hit my head. Clearly I left since they allow staff to assault you. Left made a police report ect. Speeding up to today..manager Robert has now called my personal cell phone harassing me. The next day we spent $600 and was given 2 cabannas at the Flamingo Go pool had a much better time and were not assaulted by staff.

First of all there is a 50.00 cover charge. There is no where to sit unless you pay more than ANY other pool in Vegas for a pool bed. If you want to put your stuff in a locker it is 30.00. Over crowded and over priced!!! Go to ANY other pool!

It was 95 dollars for TWO drinks. TWO DRINKS. 35 dollars a drink and they don't tell you that gratuity is included. So when the bill came and you feel like you have to tip the waitress you don't realize you tipped 25 dollars. Insane. I understand Vegas has a premium, but there is a point where you start to feel ripped off. Don't think I will ever be returning to vegas especially not the Daylight Beach Club.

Always

We went on a Friday in October 2020, we were not sure what to expect because of pandemic. We reserved a banquet couch for six which was the max per section. Our server Megan and her assistant Kobe were attentive, fun, and have great service. We not only did bottle service, but got a few pitchers of different flavored drinks which were all tasty and well served. We ordered a small bites platter, filled with wings, shrimps, mozzarella sticks and chicken quesdillas. Sometimes the food at places like this can be meh, but not the case here at all! Every single thing was tasty and well seasoned. We were pleasantly surprised! Honestly, it was just as busy as we would like during these times. The DJ was mixing great music, not just EDM, which a lot of these parties in Vegas do. We would come back for sure, only complaint is they only let you spilt the bill in two, which is do crazy in this day and age. You can spilt a bill up to 10 ways in most places. That would literally be my only complaint.

I went to Daylight with mine and my fiance's joint bachelor and bachelorette parties, there were 11 of us so a pool party was the perfect adventure for us! Getting in was a pain and a tad excessive, we weren't even allowed to bring in Tums or Advil. I'm all for some security for safety reasons, but that was a bit much and the people that had any of that had to bring their bags all the way back to the hotel or throw it out, they didn't even have a locker or somewhere to store anything that wasn't allowed in. And the hike back to the hotel is not exactly a short walk.
We got a cabana and had the most wonderful time! Yes, it was pricey, but something I'd definitely recommend doing. It was actually my favorite part of our trip! The music was awesome and consistently kept everyone dancing, and the service was good as well.

DAYLIGHT security supervisor Nate steals $140.00 from me.
With the challenges Mandalay Bay has had this past year, we try to support them in a small way by going to dinner at Skyfall as we did before the the AFAN fundraiser at DAYLIGHT.

After dinner we made the VERY LONG walk to DAYLIGHT for the AFAN fundraiser. While I was at the counter buying our tickets, security came up and talked to my girlfriend who was standing right next to me. After I paid for the tickets I turned and security asked me if they could speak to my girlfriend alone. Knowing how egotistical nightclub security is in this town, I refused this ridiculous request for them to speak to my petite, very attractive model girlfriend privately. Security responded by saying they just wanted to talk to her privately. They again asked to speak with her privately and I refused, since I could tell their behavior was making her uncomfortable. They said they couldn t let us in unless they could talk to her privately. Again I refused this ridiculous request. This was all taking place right in front of the ticket counter and I turned to the cashier and requested a refund since they refused to let us in. The girl said she needed to wait for her supervisor. A few minutes later Nate who identified himself as the security supervisor came up and was rude and disrespectful. Almost taunting in a teasing sort of way. Incredibly unprofessional. I told Nate I was waiting for a refund and he said there was no refunds. I explained I just paid $130 plus a $10 tip and I haven t even stepped away from the ticket counter and you re refusing us entry. He said sorry no refunds. I picked up my card and walked away from the ticket counter to defuse the situation. Nate walked by me looked at me smirked, smiled and just kept walking.

Security in nightclubs in this town is already bad enough but these guys take it to a whole other level. Not only was I denied access to a fundraiser that I go to annually that all of my friends many of whom happen to be sponsors were already inside, they refused to refund my $140.00 Because I refused to comply with their ridiculous request to talk to my girlfriend privately. I own a tourist business in this town and I was blown away by not only the lack of customer service but the incredible power trip that these people are on. Newsflash, you simply work security at a nightclub you are not God!! It s just a matter of time until Mandalay Bay realizes how the outside company that runs DAYLIGHT is hurting their reputation and refuses to renew their contract. I ve lived in this town for14 years and have never experienced a security power trip this bad. Go somewhere else!!

Fun!!

Had a great time at Daylight. I was extorted for a $200 tip just to get my group in by "Host" Mikey Becerra and another "Host" who presented himself as a "manager" even though we had a table booked for a week in advance. Other than having to go through 30 minutes of pure unprofessional childish games with these hots just to get in, my group managed to still have a great time. Our waitress and the other gentleman helping inside were both very professional and courteous. For that I appreciate them.

When I went there, it was one of the worst experiences.
First, It was over crowded. I waited in line for a drink about 45 min. The pool was so crowded to the point I couldn't get in.
Then, I wait for 5 hrs for the Artist to show up to only find out he performed for18 minutes.
I drove over 10 hrs to experience this.
Hope future reviews get an idea before booking. I wish someone said something before I spent time and money.

(7/14/19 visit) This venue is very nice. From the Cabanas to the bar, everything looks great. There is a stage for performers. Rick Ross was there when I visited. Great performance. The drinks are overpriced but I do realize this is Vegas. Will visit again next time im I'm Vegas

I understand high security, BUT this place was a bit much. You can't even take gum or mints inside. Don't bring anything that you don't want to throw away. The vibe was cool and the music was good though.

I stopped by to take a look at the day beach club on a Sunday. A fair amount of people were there. They were playing hip hop music and there was a good vibe. Didn't stay that long though. I can imagine it gets crazy during the summer.

I contacted DJ Murat Ozdemir a "promoter" who put my group on the guestlist. Told us ladies drink free before 2pm. Everything he said was a scam to get us there. There were no free drinks for ladies. He also said I didn't check in under his list after we specifically showed his text at the door. False advertising and scam artist. The pool party was decent but my mood was ruined by this promoters lying and scamming. Stay away from his guestlist.

Second time here since pool season started and we always have a great time!
We get on the list, give our tickets to the cashier, get checked and we're in!
DJs are decent, crowd is ALWAYS fun/sexy and bartenders are on it!
The ONLY complaint I have is. ..there's no little boutique. ..sometimes a lady would rather purchase some items, then a guard discovering those items in her bag, JUSSAYIN. ..
I truely enjoy this pool, can't wait to enjoy Daylight to its fullest during the summer solstice...14 hours of daylight ;)

Great place to get an awesome drink by the pool! The music here is bumping and the atmosphere is baller. That being said so is the prices! Almost comically expensive its still worth it to have that quintessential Vegas pool party experience! Be advised you won't be able to sit or find shade without having to pay $$$$ for it. Keep that in mind before you pay the entrance fee.

Kelsey at the bar was amazing!! My friends and I were there this past Thursday, and she was the bartender I kept going up to and she was great! We went to a few other pool parties and Kelsey made Daylight the best!

The day club was ok. The pool seems small for what I expected and had to wait a while for a bartender. It was busy but not packed but there was no head liner I couldn t imagine being here if there was someone big. It seems like it would be really cramped. The cabanas and chairs were right on the pool edge not much room for walking around.

DO NOT RECOMMEND!! Motel 6 is far better then what this place has to offer.

By far the worst service I've ever encountered. The event was unorganized aswell. After the bartender taking my $20 cash, telling me that the drink is $50 and not giving me my $20 back is outrageous. I explained to the event coordinators what the bartender did and how she still had my $20 without even giving me water. He shrugged me off and told me the drink was $50...I was the first in line and excited what Daylight had in store for me especially my gf never being in vegas and yet they let me down. Thanks for nothing and yes I ended my Vegas trip early because of this place.

Disgusted!

This pool is finally getting good. It was built to look like the Ushuia pool in Ibiza and they did a great job. The first two years where off and on because of management/ownership changes but this year will be the second year with Play management and is already doing really well. I am close with all the hosts there so if you need anything don't hesitate to ask.

Intriguing-DARING! A great place to meet new friends. THE ULTIMATE RAVE "and" HOMELY ECPERIENCE IN VEGAS FOR THEM SOUTHERN BELLS & JONS!!! xoxoxoxo ..."I had a 'great' time! FORREAL FORREAL!" -La'Nae...THE RISING STAR.

My friend had her birthday party here - and we had a pretty large group. For day clubs, this place was on point! We had a great time! Just a little on the crowded side, but still super nice!

Blonde haired lady at front gate was very unreasonable. Will not recommend coming here. Tried to renter which we were allowed to do. Accused my party and another party of having tickets that they gave to us already. Staff very unprofessional and rude. Showed ID five times made us wait in line over again just to talk to manager and kept avoiding us. Will not come back or spend money here. Palms was a-lot more professional.

Look at the stage, it's a masterpiece. This is my favorite stage in Vegas. Daylight was also my very first pool party in Vegas. It did not disappoint. Depending on the artist/DJ, the crowd can be very different so keep that in mind. Both times I came here we had cabanas and wow, it's the way to go. Cabanas come with shaded indoor almost like a living room area, and a seating/tanning bed area outside, on a raised platform. You can use a private pool as well. There's a locker for your valuables, and plenty of shelf space to put clothes, etc. Servers are on point, super helpful, making drinks, bringing food, getting you whatever you need. Also, the food is delicious! We got the usual chicken fingers, wings, mozzarella sticks but the salads were wow. I never eat salads and I loved these ones. Maybe because I'm in a bikini and more conscious but no... the salads were yummy. The VIP unisex bathroom is always clean, never a line, with a helpful staff attendant.

The guy checking IDs was rude he asked me to take off my sunglasses but didn t ask none of the white people to take off they sunglasses. The atomosohere inside was too upidy no one was having fun. I went to Tao after that atmosphere was way better staff was so polite and inviting music was so much better prolly would never go bac to daylight

Came here with my husband, it was our first time and staff was rude. They only pay attention to those who they know are going to spend $$$ on table service and bottles other than that your not important. Drinks are overpriced, the tip is already included and they made me give a gratuity tip? Music was great, but please treat customers equally.

Our fantastic host Russell helped make our girls trip one we won't forget. He set us up with the perfect location near the stage. We had such a lovely cabana/tent with an incredible waitress Jordan and bus boy. It was the perfect Sunday Funday! Also the DJ was awesome and vibe was perfect. And a fun surprise was that Trina was there to perform. We will definitely be back soon!

Last weekend, a group of friends and I did a pool ...

Last weekend, a group of friends and I did a pool tour of three pools around Vegas (Flamingo, Mandalay Bay, and Hard Rock). Mandalay Bay was just a terrible stop that should have been completely skipped. The overcrowded pool had standing room only, no shade, and hundreds of sardine-packed folks desperately standing in the pool trying to stay cool. A 32 oz blended Margarita drink ran $50 (I'm talking about the cheap blended stuff they put in a yard), and the only available water was $12 for a small bottle. Honestly, as a pool party night club, it might have been better, but it was not somewhere you want to be at 2pm in 100 degree Vegas summer heat.

p.s. Don't even try to bring in outside beverages. They search your bags, pat you down, double check your sunscreen, and examine your hat for razor blades. Just accept you're going to spend a ton of money if you want anything to eat or drink.
