Lived at Day company for my freshman year (2020). It was close to college and quite quiet. the other tenants seemed nice also - I only met a couple on the 2nd floor (my floor). everything in the apt worked well - lights fused once and I called the manager and they fixed it the next afternoon so I found the service good.
Right near UWM so took me less than 5misn to walk to class
Really nice place to live if u want a nice, clean and quiet apartament..I live there and never have any issues ....
This is for anyone thinking about renting for the Day Company. I would highly not recommend renting from Charles Day. He will take your security in its entirety. He will make up bogus reasons to not give it back. He will charge obnoxious cleaning fees and charge you for fees associated with PayPal.
Charles was extremely disrespectful to my family, friends, and I while I like at 3055 North Oakland Ave. Again, I would not rent from him.
He would clean the garage with a leaf blower and make your car gross and covered with dust.
This situation happened to my friend and I. Given he visited for the day and came from out of state. He racially profiled my friend. He began to yell at him. It was completely disrespectful. All he did was parked behind the building. When he tried money his car to leave he continued yelling at him.
The last straw was when I planned to move out of my apartment. He said, You re able to move out in the middle of the month . So, I agreed. In good faith, I thought I would only have to pay for half of the month. But this was not the case at all. He deducted the rent for my security deposit. He made up a bogus reason and stated to be the future tenant didn t agree and moved in the next month. I was stuck paying the rent. Even though I was not living there anymore.
Again, I would highly recommend not renting from him.
He also made comments over the phone discriminating against Chinese people. His comment was it was Chinese made and started complaining to me over the phone. This was over a garage door.
If you would like to live in a hostile living situation. Or always looking behind your back, rent from this guy.
I also had a problem with the old pipes in my apartment. The bathroom sink would not drain. It had taken two months for this problem to get fixed.
The elevator is broken at least once a month.
I would give him a 0/5, but that s not an option.
I had the worst experience living at 3055 N Oakland Ave, Milwaukee, WI.
Infested with silverfish, other vermin but mainly that. The landlord is disrespectful and rude.

Rented a palce here for my last year of college. The locations good with quite a few restaurants nearby/ around. reccoment the Mexican place up the road
Recently refurbished and well maintained apartments. Would definitely recommend!
