Very busy location but they have very nice formal event dresses for more than just weddings. Staff is knowledgeable and there are lots of dressing rooms. Only draw back is all the mirrors are on the outside of the dressing rooms.
I said yes to the dress !!!! Kristin was a great help today !!! She gave tips n ideas n helped me try on multiple dresses including my bridal party :) stayed within budget as well which was great and scored an amazing dress ! Thank you David s bridal and Kristin for an awesome experience!
It was my first day shopping for my wedding dress. I had an idea of style of dress and budget, I went with my mom. Immediately when we walked in David's Bridal in Sunrise, FL we felt welcome, were assigned a stylist, Saoirse Noone. Saoirse caught on to my style immediately with just showing her 2 dresses I liked. She helped me pick out 6 dresses, I tried all of them on and narrowed it down to 3 dresses. She also helped me choose a veal and shoes. The final decision as to which dress I was going with was not easy, I LOVED all 3 dresses, but she was very patient and supportive, made us feel comfortable, no pressure, very caring and energetic and the fact that she caught on to what we liked and were looking for while staying within my budget made my wedding dress shopping experience a lovely one! I probably spend 2 hours there and walked out with a purchased(ordered) stunning wedding dress, a gorgeous veal and beautiful and COMFORTABLE wedding shoes (that I could wear for other occasions). I would highly recommend anyone to go to this David's Bridal and more so ask for Saoirse Noone she was a doll! Needless to say, my mother and sister will also be making an appointment with her to look for their dresses for my wedding!

I was cheated by the seller, they promised to get me a brand new dress that they will ship from Jacksonville, a week before my wedding, the charge me full price based on the promise, the when I come back result that they just fool me and clean up the dress but in the details inside you can tell it was the same dress with yellow spots. I have to said that the promise was made by a Manager. I m so disappointed. You don t play with a wedding dress. By all means look for a different place before decide and do not trust in this people, they don t have integrity.
The dresses are nice and I chose my bridesmaids dresses here. However, do not expect any help when you make an appointment. The person assigned to you does not offer any suggestions or help other than getting you a dressing room or another size of a dress you have chosen yourself.

Absolutely fabulous experience with a last minute appointment. Since I had to delay my destination wedding due to Covid, my fiance and I decided to have a courthouse wedding in the interim! I decided to get a more low-key dress for this event, and was greeted by Jodi and Alyssa at the Sunrise location. They both were fabulous and picked out beautiful dresses for me to try! Dress shopping can be very unnerving, and both of these wonderful ladies made the experience so comfortable AND enjoyable! Lisa Morris was my stylist and she did a wonderful job. I didn't really have any idea what I wanted, and she was able to pull different style choices for me until I found the style I liked. Then she pulled dressed for me that matched exactly what I wanted and in my price range. She was also extremely nice and made me feel very comfortable to whole time.
Unhelpful consultants! Would leave me for long periods and then when I asked for help or suggestions, the consultant would just come across as irritated. Do not recommend for bridesmaids dress shopping!

I went in the first time with a girl named Hannah, she was ok. She made me feel like I had to settle on a dress I wasn t happy with because she didn t agree with me tried on more dresses. So I left and made another appointment with Julissa! I thought I found the one after my appointment with her but started seconding guessing right away so I called her back and went back 2 more times with Julissa. I told her to be honest with me about the dress and she was, which I really appreciated! I tried on so many dresses over all my appointments and she was helpful in every single way. I ended up going back to her just one last time for an appointment because I took the weekend to think about the dresses and I finally made a decision. I seriously couldn t have done it without her. I highly recommend her for your appointments. You won t regret it!

Excellent service and beautiful dresses!! The ladies who work in the alterations department are absolutely wonderful. Tio and Charmaine (one additional person worked with me but I don't remember her name...she's from Mexico) are very talented, competent and compassionate.
My dress is absolutely beautiful and fits perfectly. My dress was less than my budget. My dress assistant found me the perfect dress that was below budget.
Alterations are a bit pricey... <sigh>
But the staff was amazing and I could not ask for more. This Sunrise Boulevard location has amazing employees.

The store associate was very helpful and pulled all dresses i requested. The reason for my rating is the lack of internet and cell service in the store. It is basically a dead zone within the store for all cell providers (not David's bridals fault) however, i had planned on trying on bridesmaid dresses and video chatting with the bride who was out of state so she could see them and make a selection. There were multiple other women there attempting to do video chat so their friends and family could be involved in the process and they just werent able to. It is 2018 (not the 90's) so it seems like a bridal store (of this size) would understand the importance of this and have internet for their customers to connect to for this very reason. This alone would make me reconsider using them again and prompt me to look at other bridal stores.
I had an appointment for a MOB dress fitting and although we had an appointment we still waited 20 minutes before a stylist came over to us. We were instructed to "browse through dresses" in the meantime. This happens very often at this location, leaving me to think they are not appropriately staffed. After the stylist finally arrived she put my mother in a dressing room and then seemingly disappeared. We finally decided to go looking for her only to realize she was helping another bride with an appointment! We grew tired of waiting for her return and eventually left.
Mirna at the David's Bridal address 12605 W Sunrise Blvd, Sunrise, FL 33323 was awesome! She altered my wedding dress perfectly! And the bustle that she created is beautiful. Mirna even recorded how to use the bustle so that I can show it to my Maid of Honor. Very professional! I highly recommend Mirna for alterations.

To start with some positive words, I would like to say Teo, the lovely lady who did the alterations on my dress did a great job. Length was perfect, along with the other alterations needed. I didn t feel rushed, and she took the time to make sure I was going to be Happy with the end results. The stars are for her.
I will say prepare yourself. Was not expecting to get hit with such a massive bill on top of the dress. I understand the hard work of doing alterations. But with the breakdown of the charges, the hem, some shoulder work were reasonably priced. Where they get you was the price on the buttons for the bussell, which in my opinion is part of the dress design and less of a alteration. So warning!
However, I was warned about going to David s bridal by multiple people (at least this location).
Due to my budget, I didn t have many options and decided to give them the benefit of doubt.
Found a dress pretty quickly. All went smooth with that.
My mother and maid of honor decided on getting shoes, they had a buy one get one 50% off deal.. When my mother got the call to pick up her shoes. Not only was it the wrong shoe, it was a completely different color. The manager was the one to help. Informed me that they no longer had that shoe in stock. So my issue is, instead of giving a call to let us know, they just randomly picked a shoe? Any color ? The manager had no answer for me other than, I wasn t the one who did it. My mother picked another shoe to buy, but to our surprise. They didn t have anymore of those either . So she got a refund. (Nervous now, her dress was altered to that heel height) Fun thing and thank goodness when we went back for a fitting they had boxes of the shoe she wanted. So we got to purchase, but now at full price and not the discount we had in the beginning.
My maid of honors shoe doesn t arrive till just before the wedding. So I pray that works out.
Unless on a tight budget like myself. I wouldn t recommend anyone going here.

My bridesmaids from out of town and I went here for some last minute accessories we needed for my wedding. they had everything we needed and the store clerks were super friendly. It was a little crowded in the afternoon so the line was a lil slow but I guess they can't help that.

My consultant was Julissa Chapman, and she was absolutely amazing! This was the first time I had gone wedding dress shopping, and the first time in a wedding dress. I had no clue what style or look even looked good on me.. and I left buying a dress which actually brought me to tears! Julissa was very respectful of staying within my budget and if I asked for something else she was sure to let me know if it was high on my price point. Julissa pulled the most gorgeous dresses which all fit my boy type and she knew exactly what would work for me. Julissa had a wonderful sense of humor and made me feel so comfortable! It's not every day you strip down to your nude self in front of a stranger, but with Julissa , she didn't make any moment feel awkward or strange. I definitely recommend this Sunrise David's Bridal location. The store has an amazing selection and every style you are looking for! Couldn't have asked for a better experience and I look forward to completing all my alterations at this location with Julissa.
My bridesmaids and I came here in search for their dresses. Diane was amazing and attentive. Now that I'm helping my mom search for her dress, we decided to schedule an appointment for her. When we arrive, the lady at the check out desk was nice and told us to start looking and that someone would help us. 15 minutes passed (mind you, it'sva 30 min appointment), no one helped. What's the point of making an appointment if no one is willing to help you or assist you at all? My mom and I left disappointed.

I had a great experience trying on wedding dresses here! Diane Richardson was my stylist and she listened to what I wanted and found some beautiful dresses for me to try on. I had a 12pm appointment. One stylist was juggling 2 clients and I had to wait for her to help with fitting and she was not helpful as to how much alterations would cost. I finally chose my dress and then they told me I had to make separate appointment for alterations (which was not likely same day). Then they told me I could go to alterations to see if someone was available. I waited and the seamstress refuse to see me without paying for my dress. Once I paid- they told me all sales final. I went to alterations and had to wait over an hour for someone to help me. The prices for alterations are obscene! Only thing I am happy with was after seeing my frustration the seamstress Teo really took her time with me and was Extremely helpful & insightful! She really turned around my overall experience, she got the dress to me on time. She waved the rush fee for me for the inconvenience.

I am absolutely in LOVE with my dress! Melissa was amazing what great service and attention to detail! She killed it! I told her what I wanted and she hit the nail on the head! I was super worried about trying on dress after dress and I didn t hate any that she picked out. It was a tough decision because let s if you want them all! She made sure to meet my expectations and blew them out of the water!
when going to try on a wedding gown you want to feel like a princess preparing for her wedding however the salesperson in the shop was not enthusiastic and was really just a bummer we ended up feeling awful and leaving pretty quickly

Thank you for the wonderful service Jodi G and for being so patient with us. We needed a pretty last minute dress after my daughter s communion was rescheduled abruptly. Her original dress no longer fit due to the postponement. We looked at all the available dresses and we were able to find a replacement. We are very happy and would recommend. It also just so happens I also bought my wedding dress from another David s Bridal many many years ago! And that experience was also very good.

Terrible Service. No one in the stored smiled or helped us, except for a lady name Maria. I bought an expensive wedding dress, they promised alterations were only 80$, it ended up being 300$ which is a whole wedding dress. They lied to me. I don't think that's how a bride should be treated especially since my mom, my mother in law, my flower girl, and my 4 bridesmaids bought dresses at David's bridal including alterations. Brides should have Wonder customer service during their wedding experiences. I'm very unhappy. Don't go to David's bridal in sunrise. I'm giving them a negative star, I wouldn't even rate them one star. So now moving on to my 3rd appointment I was not happy again. So they added padding on my dress without telling me. The padding looked awful and they charged me for it. And on top of that my length wasn't done. It took hours last time to get pinned and guess who had to do it again? Yep. Me. I had to stand there for another hour getting pinned again. Then on top of that they unpinned the bussel and didn't write how it was supposed to be an added bonus, not charging us because of complications from the alterations from the time before. Thry charged us for the bussel.This is ridiculous. I'm not a happy bride at all. And again, everyone in my wedding party got dresses from here. And the store manager was supposed to call me on Monday. It's now Wednesday and I haven't heard from anyone. I'll let you know how my 4th appointment goes if they ever call me back. My wedding is in December....
Carmen was absolutely wonderful. Very helpful and personable. I live in ny and was visiting my sister, so we went together to look at wedding dresses. The staff was very helpfull and if i didn't live so far away i would want to be working with carmen throughout my whole process.

I made an appointment in advance to see wedding dresses. I filled out the survey and explained that I was looking for black-and-white dresses. When I arrived with my mothers and bridesmaids we were told that they didn't have anything for us because "This is Florida", whatever that means! They basically ignored us the rest of the time we looked around. No one made any other suggestions so we left and I found my dress in another store (which ended up not being black anyway)

I met Ms. Torricella after a returm experience that had been so poorly handled by another store manager that I had decided never to shop in this store again. Ms Torricella listened to my story and took it upon herself to make some inquiries to see if she could find a better solution - a solution that might make a customer happy. After two days of emailing her regional and corporate offices multiple times as well as following up with calling me at the end of each business day to apprise me of updates, Ms.Torricella was able to positively resolve the return issue I had encountered .
I hope that the management team at David's Bridal recognize Ms.Torricella as a valued employee who is willing to go above and beyond to help a customer.
I was having the worst anxiety about trying on dresses. I walked in to David's bridal off of sunrise and immediately when my dress consultant Shaneka saw me she calmed me right down. No tears in her bridal store . She made the experience the very best! My bride crew got the opportunity to pick out a dress for me, and I had no choice but to try on things out of my comfort zone. That's exactly what I needed to do to solidify what I loved. I never thought I would have had such an amazing experience at a David's bridal. I thought I needed to go to an expensive boutique for what I experienced yesterday. It felt like I was on TV, and we had the most amazing time. No one else except Shaneka could have made my experience as amazing as she did. I'm super grateful to her.

I could not be happier with both my dress and the experience I ve had at this store with Melissa and Mirna. Melissa helped me find the dress and I would give her 10-stars if I could. I highly recommend making an appointment with her - she stayed late and was infinitely patient. Then I went back today to get fit after alterations and Mirna was the one to assist. She stayed 45 minutes late to help me, was knowledgeable about all adjustment options, and called me sweetie the whole time :). If you need alterations, Mirna is amazing. I went yesterday with my mom to try more wedding gowns cause I wasn t quite sure yet which one I should get. It was my 2nd time there but this time Julissa was my stylist. She is so professional and fun at the same time. She helped me out with every single detail, like picking the shoes and veils for every gown. She also helped me to put them on and take them off.
