Service people were professional, polite and friendly. Impressed with their efficiency and the work they have done for us. Would recommend tham to anyone. Enjoyed them and the work they did is excellent.

Update: I recently had a new plumbing issues unrelated to the previous issues (can't seem to catch a break!) But I contacted Dan Wood Co without hesitation to resolve it. They sent out Chris (a master plumber) to help me out. Chris did a fantastic job and even identified and resolved some other minor issues that could have caused major issues down the line. They were relatively easy fixes only requiring a few minutes of his time so there was no charge for that. All in all I'm still extremely satisfied with the level of skill they bring to the table, and the confidence it gives me that my equipment is working as it should.

I've used Dan Wood Co on two occasions for very different reasons. Both times they were extremely professional and did a fantastic job. They're easy to work with and will accommodate you the best they can. I won't hesitate to call them again for any issues or upgrades.

Done fast, Done right and helped save me 475$ on my failed water heater.

Earl S did a great job. He first gave me options and the cost.. Earl fixed our water pressure and checked the washer after I only was getting hot water. It was air in the lines and with a few adjustments the water flowed better than ever.. I appreciate him explaining everything. He took the time to make sure everything was done right.

Dan Wood plumbing was very responsive and the service person was extremely nice. I am giving the review a lower review due to the cost. It was nearly $500 to install a faucet and 2 drains. It took the service person roughly 2 hours....at $250 per hour!!

After being rescheduled this company again provedthey were worth waiting for. He did an excellent job explaining how to care for our 15 year old system and keep it running.

Fred has provided service a couple times for us. Always ontime and very positive. He is obviously very competent and always willing to answer questions. I would definitely recommend Fred, and Dan Wood Company.

They came to unclog my drain 2 months ago, for $450. There were tree roots growing in and clogging the exit drain. Thought the problem was solved. Well last night my subpump drained up into my tub and toilet. Only this time, water drained all over my basement from the drain pipes NOT BEING PROPERLY SEALED by their techs. When I called to see if they would come fix it, they weren't sure they could get me in today. Fine. THEN they call back and say (over voicemail) "my manager overheard our conversation this morning and wanted me to remind you that we don't guarantee any work on drains. And to be totally honest we aren't going to be able to get to you today"

Sealing a drain pipe isn't rocket science. And not guaranteeing a rubber seal with 2 metal rings is ridiculous.

BUYER BEWARE! They obviously can't back up their work and at $400-$500 it just isn't worth it.

I had another company here within an hour, they cleared the roots in the drain pipe from my house to the road for less than 1/2 the price I paid for this service.

We called just before 5:00pm and we have a service person by 8:05am the following day. Dan S. Was extremely courteous, polite and explained everything in a way we could understand. He got right to it and our issue was resolved within two hours. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone.

We had Rob come out today to check our Air Conditioner. He was great. Fast, efficient, friendly, professional. We always use Dan Wood for heating and cooling and are never disappointed. Very dependable company. We highly recommend them. Thanks, Rob!

We had a great experience, we called in the morning and they were able to send a tech out the same day. Our tech was Derrell, he completed the work required in a timely manner, his work quality was top notch and he cleaned up the area he worked. We would highly recommend The Dan Wood Company and Darrell for a pleasant experience.

Technition was courteous and professional. BUT was charged 129.00 to replace batteries in thermostats. For this reason I would not use your company again.

C.W. was the plumber that came and fixed a leaking water heater intake pipe. He did a great job! Very thorough and efficient. He did the job quickly while explaining the fix. I would use hire him again.
He arrived about 90 minutes after I placed the service call - quick response.

Earl was professional and extremely helpful in assisting me with my well issue. He is definitely an asset to the Dan Wood organization. As a result of his service I will be a repeat customer if the need arises.

I will NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, hire these people to do ANYTHING!
It was about a year or so ago when the tech guy came out for a low water pressure problem. He messed around and messed around and messed around, touching every pipe in several different places. This took him about an hour. Later I determined he did that so he could charge me an hour labor. Then he just traced the line back to the in-line filter and realized that was where the problem was.
Anyone who is not looking to gouge the customer and was a good plumber would have found this in five minutes. He put in a ten inch pipe in place of the filter and that was it. It took him about five minutes. The final price was about $280.00! When I complained to the supervisor he was will to take $25.00 off the price. This company is the biggest scam going!! WHAT A POS COMPANY!! STAY AWAY!!!

Dan Wood Company was fast to respond to our issues and very professional to deal with. They communicated constantly prior to the technician coming to our house. Our technician, Chris R., was great to deal with. He was detailed and efficient in his work, explained everything to help us understand, and assisted with things we didn't even know were actually causing problems. I'm so happy to know the work was done correctly and well, so we don't have to worry about issues in the future.

Came out quickly charged a fair price and helpful in helping decide the right choice to do for my sink. Very friendly and knowledgeable.

Dan H came to diagnose and fix my boiler heat. He was super super friendly. He let me know everything that he was doing and explained the system to me (I've never had one before) so that I am more familiar with it in the future. I have never needed the services of a plumber but i will for sure call them first in the future (and request Alan H!). Alan even called me a day later to make sure everything was still 100%. I could not be more satisfied with his service!

We had an issue with our well reservoir tank being water logged. Earl came to our house after hours and instead of making it a two day fix, he stayed 3 hours and replaced our tank. Earl is amazing!!! He busted his butt to help our family out and was very knowledgeable and professional. Since our experience was so great with him, I will recommend Dan Wood Company and specifically Earl for any plumping or well work going forward. Thank you so much Earl, you are the man!!!!

Thought we had it fixed yesterday, came back out today, located the underlying problem. Gave quote to fix (20+ unit) & cost to replace.

Unfortunately, bad business and poor customer service caused Dan Wood to lose our business from here on out. We used Dan Wood for over 16 years and were happy with them for a long time until recently. We will give our business to another company who values their customers and treats them with respect. We were always satisfied with the work they completed. Our only complaint was the final time that we paid for an estimate, requested that they come do the work, and they never came out after several attempts to reach them. They did eventually refund the money for the estimate after we had to call someone else to do the work, which we appreciated and felt was fair. That was three years ago. Problem is, we called them recently for another plumbing issue, and were informed that we are on their "do not service" list, which I felt was a slap in the face after giving them our business for many years. It was their mistake by not coming out when we requested them to go ahead with the work 3 years ago, yet they decided they no longer wanted to do business with us.

Excellent job very professional! Cleanup was great would us them again.

John L. came out to do an HVAC tuneup. John did an excellent job. He went through all the air conditioning components, cleaned the compressor and found a wire with one strand still connected. Mice had chewed through it. John replaced the wire.
Then John took a look at my heating system and checked all those components thoroughly.
I can t say enough good things about John and his expertise.
It s really good to know he s on the job. Ask for John L. for any HVAC problems. You will be very happy you did!

Had a well pump that was loud. Paid $250 to "diagnosis" the problem. Tech decided it was the pump. I go buy a new pump that they approved as well as holding tank. They quote 800 to install minus the 250. He tells me it will take a couple of hours. Next day after an hour or so he says we should be all set, only no water. 5 hours later he gives up and calls a more experienced tech who immediately says the sound the pump was making was air in the line. Bummer we had the less experienced tech, next day they hack my well point apart say it's dry, say it will be 2-3k plus the 600 of the job they tried to do to tap into city water. I agree it's the right thing to do but disagree how much should be paid for the day of wasted labor with the less experienced tech. Either way I wanted to proceed to get water. Later the same day I agreed to pay for the wasted time plus the new job and at that point Dan wood co said they were no longer going to do any of the work!! This company left me without water and also called the health dept with a bogus claim!! Stay away from this vindictive, unprofessional, over priced company!! Also Great Lakes plumbing is doing the same job for less

My entire experience was amazing, start to finish. Meredith on the phone gave me confidence I had picked the right place from the very beginning. Mike showed up exactly when they said he would, gave me several different options on service and prices, and had my issue figured out and fixed by the time he left. Highly recommend this company!

Pat was very considerate and friendly. I appreciate him getting our AC unit fixed so quickly and being so willing to explain everything to me so patiently!

Justin was great! He was knowledgable, friendly, and very helpful. He made suggestions but wasn't pushy. He addressed my wife as much as me and explained everything to both of us. He got the work done and it all looks great.

Earl S. was the Technician. Very knowledgeable and honest up front. No surprises from Earl. He went above and beyond helping with the well pump and pressure tank. Even came back a second time to check on our system. If you need to request someone most definitely choose Earl S. You will have a hard time finding anyone better than him.

Same day service much appreciated. Dan S was thoroughly knowledgeable and very helpful. We have always used Dan Wood, because we know we will be taken care of and will continue to do so.

TJ came in and quickly saw the two problems with the faucet. Rather than fix the problems, he put in a new Wolverine Brass faucet which took less time.

We used Dan Wood company to install a utility sink in our utility room. Their technician Rich did a great job of reconfiguring the drain plumbing to make it work. The job was not inexpensive but it was done right and that makes it worth the cost. Thank you Rich.

I'm a disabled Army Combat Veteran that served in Iraq three tours! My furnace died The first Saturday of January 2020 go figure! Me and my Rottweiler went the whole night without heat the next day Sunday I called Dan Wood they sent Alan Harless out as a technician He was very respectful very knowledgeable very professional and he fixed the problem!!!!! Sean was fast and knowledgeable. They called before showing to let me know that a technician was headed to my house and with in 30 minutes Sean was at my door.

Service Pro Charles W was very professional! Explained to me everything he was doing and was very straight forward with me. I felt very comfortable with him and was able to trust him and what he was telling me. He did an excellent job of cleaning up and was very timely and diligent in his work. I was very impressed and would definitely recommend him and his company to everyone who might need this service.

Very efficient, great people from start to finish. I had two issues(two people came. One to fix HVAC, other plumber) when with one missed call for the other and instead of canceling, or worse, they knew I was here with other one so then they still sent them here. I was very happy that they understood to do that! What customer service!

We have used Dan Wood technicians in two homes for plumbing, electrical and furnace needs and have always been completely satisfied with work and their professional advice. They truly care about their customers' well being.

Neil of Dan Wood Plumbing saved the universe from annihilation. Serious. Assuming that the world as we know it, and subsequently the universe as a whole, is a function of my consciousness, it stands to reason that my sanity has a direct and functional relation to the universe and therefore all beings within.

When the plumbing to my guest house (actually a man cave, a salvation for cigars, beers, and rugby videos) sprang a leak, it was not just a leak of water. It was a leak of salvation. A leak of sanity. Without water to the guest house my outdoor shower was rendered inoperable. Without the outdoor shower my sanity breaks. If my sanity breaks the universe, as we discovered earlier in this review, breaks into an abyss of black holes and forgotten dreams.

Within an hour of calling the Dan Wood Company Neil was assessing the water situation. We came up with a game plan. I had a quote that evening. Work began the next week. Neil, understanding the gravity of the threat to humanity, worked creatively and tirelessly. A new feed line to the guest house was needed.

The earth worked against Neil, as if the devil himself had cast the clay which clogged the pipes in an effort to defeat Neil and destroy the universe. Neil did not give in to the devil's clay. He finished the first day frustrated but not beaten.

The second day Neil returned with ideas of light to fight against the darkness of the clay. Pipes were exposed, clay was battled, and, in a fountain of glorious watery victory where one could even hear the very angels of the heavens singing their praise, beautiful, sweet water once again graced the guest house. Hot water poured from the outdoor shower. The heavens opened, the devil was forced back through the gates of hell, and Neil saved us all.

Great service and great advice for other issues that I will need to address in my older house. He took the time to explain what he was doing and answer all questions about his recommendations. I highly recommend this company.

I have used Dan Wood in the past. Previous encounters were very positive. However, this time was different. I have a rusty pipe that needs replacing. I called and set an appointment. The company called me back and explained that the serviceman was having a migraine and needed to take the rest of the day off. I understood completely, having suffered from migraines myself. I happily rescheduled. On the day I was supposed to receive my rescheduled service, I was called and told that the service man took longer at another job and needed to reschedule again. Sometimes jobs take longer than others, I get that. I once again rescheduled for today (11/3/20) I was just called and told that the service man would need to reschedule again. The lady on the phone offered a discount. However, fearing that I would inevitably be told that the service man would need to reschedule once more, I decided to cancel this on-going, ever changing appointment. Sorry Dan Wood, I will find someone else who can keep appointments

Justin Dyer was called out to help fix a pump at our house. He was able to replace it and fix a leaky faucet in our bathroom. He was kind, behaved well around our animals, and was very professional. Nobody likes an unexpected furnace breakdown. I called and Dan Wood Co had a service tech out within a couple of hours. Mike F quickly diagnosed the problem and explained things in an easy to understand way. He completed the repair in record time and we are back up and running. Our tech Josh did a fantastic job of quickly identifying two problems with our garbage disposal and toilet and had them fixed in short order. Not only that, he came out in the middle of a snow storm which we greatly appreciated.

Ridiculous price $285.00 for shut off main water faucet. She was a old women who cant do it because the washer was on the way and they want to charge over $1,000 for instal a new faucet. I did it for $120 im not a plumber but I know the job...
