Staff is always friendly. The service is always quick. The Tandoori Salmon is terrific for take-out.
Have always loved the food from here, we often have our open houses catered by DnD and often pick up lunch/dinner when we are entertaining at home. The seasonal menu is always changing with classics re-appearing from time to time. Friendly staff and excellent management as well. Highly recommend them for any event.

I absolutely love Daniel et Daniel! My family has been buying cakes from them since I was a little girl and we still continue to buy cakes from them to this day. Their cakes are absolutely amazing, with just the right amount of sweetness.
I recently bought two cakes from here for both my and my friend's birthday's. I ordered a lemon chiffon cake and a white chocolate mousse. I must say they are exactly as I remembered and all of our guests were very impressed. Thank you so much!!
The best. Everything is always so delicious, even the coffee. I love the variety-wall of different international treats in pretty boxes as well. And their unique muffin flavours and pastries are delightful. I love this place. Run by really nice people. This is one of those rare places that actually still really, consistently, care about the quality and taste of the food they serve. For quality and flavour, the prices are incredibly reasonable.
We're so lucky in Cabbagetown to have this excellent caterer based here and making their wonderful meals available over the counter. I am an active home cook, but when there's nothing in the fridge or I don't feel up to cooking, this is my go-to spot for takeout.
Amazing event catering by Daniel et Daniel. Jake Curl was superb and organized our event flawlessly.
As always the food was delicious and spectacular -- lots of variety, unexpected flavours, and accommodation for gluten-free and vegan guests.
Jake handled the event planning, staffing and flow of the day perfectly. He made excellent suggestions based on our needs, venue and number of guests.
A day to remember.
So, D&D has all kinds of great food on offer for catering or take-out. The best item is probably the chicken pesto. It's creamy, rich, and a bit tangy. The texture is also really unique, and coupled with the tanginess, makes me wonder if the recipe is unusual in some way. I'm suspicious that this effect can't be achieved with garlic and pine nuts alone - it's like there's mayo in it. That would be terrible and disgusting, if true, and I wouldn't want to eat it. So, if you know how they make the pesto, don't tell me, because I order it all the time and I'm worried that knowing the recipe's dark secrets will ruin it for me.
Anyway, five stars!
We love their desserts and all the great food displaying in the case..Thia noodles. Beef bourgeois. Croissants. Deli sandwiches..date squares. Excellent service and a wonderful team at D&D..We are regulars. Thank you.
A very cute place, and the snacks are impeccable. Although I wasn't able to try any of the cooked meals: they all looked superb. This is a great place to grab prepared meals or smaller kitchen essentials.

Love this bakery . Great selection of cakes, coffee, pastries, sandwiches, freshes salads and lots more. Our family have been a Daniel et Daniel customers for more than 15 years. Our favorite place for good quality and yammy cakes made out off all natural ingredients. Strawberry shortcake, mango cake and chocolate cake our favorite ones. Exceptional customer service!

I had guests coming up to me through out the evening saying how tasty their food was and how lovely the venue was decorated. The tables were beautifully set as well. The late night snack was welcomed by all and very tasty!

So happy that D&D was recommended to me. Their muffins and cookies are some of the best I've ever had. Their prepared meals are also really good. Although their main priority is catering, their storefront is very impressive.
There is no better caterer in the city. I know for q fact that they use the best quality products when cooking and baking for clients. A rarity in this city. Many just want to cheap out on quality...because of the bottom line. They forget the long range picture....being short sighted and skimping is wrong. Daniel and Daniel have never, ever done that.

She was so helpful and skilled, we wouldn't be as coordinated as we are now without her assistance.

I went to an event at the Richmond and Daniel et Daniel served a delicious hickory smoked pork loin. It was absolutely delicious.

This place has wonderful Tuna sandwiches and you would expect much more but there are not many vegetarian options (which is fine) but not many healthy choices. The drinks are basically sugar based with few vitamins. I really wanted to love this quaint,cozy store.
