I have been dancing at DS for 11 years I decided to quit because I couldn t take the rudeness and stupidity of everyone at DS. If your not in competition they don t treat you the same. Many of my class mates agree you could ask around. The staff is really rude and they act like they don t want to be there. The dance moves are getting old and the songs are stupid and not up to date with this time zone. Also I ve gotten hurt at this studio by a former teacher and yes I did tell them and they did nothing about it.. If you are looking for a dance studio please go somewhere else!

I danced at Dance Spectrum for 10 years and left the studio more than 5 years ago. I can say to this day that I still have nightmares about this traumatic place. This is a toxic environment for children/teens. These teachers will completely destroy their sense of worth and confidence. Also, the owner, Patricia Neal, is racist-- not explicitly but she is definitely guilty of committing racial microagressions and treating minorities differently.

I am proud to say that Patty Neal and her entire staff are caring professionals who truly care not only about the art of dance, but even more importantly they care about the students who come to the studio, whether they are there for a summer camp program or for many years. My daughter began dancing at DS when she was just three years old and now two of her own young children are enjoying the experience of taking classes and being a part of the DS Family! We couldn't be happier to see our grandchildren's enthusiasm as they begin to explore their love of dance thanks to Miss Patty and the DS Team!

My daughter has been dancing here since she was 3. They do a great job and put on a fantastic recital at the end every season.

My mother chose Dance Spectrum for me to start dancing at roughly 36 years ago. Since that first day, Dance Spectrum has been my "second" home and my family. Once I had daughters I knew I wanted them to have the experience I did growing up. Last weekend was one pretty amazing weekend that none of us will forget. Last weekend the entire Competition Team gave it their all and performed their hearts out. It's not always about the awards or recognition, but our studio won two amazing awards. Our studio, Dance Spectrum, was awarded the Studio Technique Award for having the highest technique scores for the entire competition. Dance Spectrum was also awarded the Groove Award for having the 5 highest scoring dances, 1,463.5 out of 1,500 possible points. I can not be happier my mother chose Dance Spectrum back when I was 2. I am so extremely great full to be a part of this family for so many years. I can not recommend Dance Spectrum enough. It is so much more then a dance studio. It is a home, a family and memories that will last a lifetime.

best dance studio ever. The staff is the best I could ever ask for and the community is overwhelmingly positive. The negative reviews are soooo fake it makes me sick. Who would write that about such a loving company?!?

My daughters have been dancing at Dance Spectrum for quite a few years. The kids love the studio and the teachers. They started dancing at a recreational level and with hard work and dedication they are now competiting at a company level. They have made many friends and have become great dancers. I now have a 2 1/2 year old that has also joined a toddler class and loves it. I would highly recommend Dance Spectrum to anyone who is interested in signing up their children.

First day of season 2019/202! Year 41 for DS! It seems like only yesterday I put my daughter Casey into the dance room for her first class. She cried a little until Miss Patty came into the room to dance with her. After that day she was hooked. Fast forward and now she s a freshman in high school and starting her 12th year of dance! Cheers to 41 years and to another exciting year of dance!!!

DS was my home/family away from home. It melts my heart to know my Godbaby ("E") began classes at Dance Spectrum this week and met one of my favorite mentors.

E called and video chatted with me on her way home that night and her face was priceless when I told her I heard she met my dear friend, Miss Patty. "Miss Patty is your FRIEND?" I explained that she was one of the best dance teachers I ever loved --and that we met when I was younger than E is now. She was speechless. It was as if I had told her I was friends with a princess.

I pray and trust she'll learn so much from her time with DS --about dance of course!-- but also teamwork, responsibility, discipline, goal attainment, coping skills, joy, freedom in art and movement... LIFE. And I pray she finds an amazing friend (or five!) along the way. I found one of my sisters/besties in my dance class at age 7. We learned to enjoy a team, cheer/support one another, LISTEN to mentors, ask lots of questions, follow directions. We learned to practice this craft we love and win (sometimes first place!) confidently and --once in a while, lose--gracefully. We learned to recognize and thank(!!) all the folks who supported our success. Always connected. Grounded. Centered.

I'm. Incredibly. Grateful. for my ~15 yrs dancing, 37 (!?!?) yrs supporting. I'd be there in tap shoes every Wed if it weren't for that pesky commute from NC. Thanks to Miss Patty & all these (and many more) years. We had a blast and it's so much fun to watch the next generation enjoy our passion!

Having danced here when I was a child I brought my little one here as well! She loves it!! The staff is so kind to her and they understand when little ones have to take a break! Since bringing here for the toddler dance a few years ago I have signed up for the adult classes and she is now in the 4 year old classes!! She can't wait to dance like the big kids!

If you're looking for a dance home for yourself or for your children, I can't recommend Dance Spectrum more!
This wonderful studio is extremely well-run; classes begin and end on time; the the staff is beyond talented and truly give the students a quality dance experience, each and every class. The office is well-staffed, eager to help and available far and above any other I've been associated with (and I've been a dancer in this area for 50+ years).
Whether your child is just beginning, or well experienced and looking for a change, there are classes to suit them. And if your child wants the all-out, practically live there, competition thing, they offer both team and company options. Auditions are necessary for these classes, but the experience is a truly wonderful one. These kids work together, play together, travel together and help one another. The older students look out for their younger "buddy" throughout the competition & recital seasons, forming amazing bonds that makes the journey even more special for everyone!!
Truly, we've been a part of Dance Spectrum since 2000; this studio, and the family within, is the best in WNY, bar none!!!

This place is my second home. I m proud to be a part of such an amazing program where the staff loves what they do and the teachers recognize and celebrate every child s individuality!

First I would like to say as far as the teachers go the school is great. That said, this year my daughter danced at her recital at sheas. The staff on hand were some of the rudest people I have ever had to deal with. After the show my wife went to get my girl. After 20 minutes of waiting she asked if someone could get her. At 5 years old she isn't listing for her name. The person was very rude and obviouslydidn't want to be there. Completely unacceptable for the price it costs to go to this school.

Excellent studio offering a wide range of ability and skill levels based on individual preference and ability. Fantastic recreational dance program offering both boys and girls an excellent dance foundation with a wide variety of classes in addition to some unique, fun classes. Their competition team offers an opportunity for both boys and girls to develop their dance abilities at a more difficult level as well as increase their level of responsibility and dedication. Their company team is for the dancer who is looking to receive professional level training and is committed and dedicated to the art of dance. In addition, they also offer adult level, toddler level and workshop classes for those who wish to continue, begin or further their dance education.
Our family is into their 10th year at this studio and have been very pleased.
