In this moment is a bit empty because of covi but sometimes they have students there and can say is very attractive place for good picture of old buildings

As an international student (paying international fees) I feel like I was totally ripped off. What a terrible value for your money. The classes are poorly organized and poorly run by teachers who don't care about educating students. The university itself just wants to throw money by building more and more buildings and facilities without investing in better student services. They just want to brag about having the largest amphitheater in Wales or something ridiculous like that. Honestly, it's shocking that this is a Russel Group school.

I graduated from this university. I had very good teachers in my period. I have made very nice friendships. A local university. Five years passed very quickly.

I love Cardiff University and my heart touched Educations.

It was the worst experience ever. My parents had visited Cardiff university before the selection of the university from Karachi Pakistan. It was decided among us that a specific date that is (29 May) should be suitable but turns out it was a public holiday, which I wasn't aware of. The management was poor and my parents stood there in the university for more than 30 minutes waiting. This caused them to believe that Cardiff university wasn't a good choice for me.

Superb Russell Group University....world class research and facilities. Lecturers are phenomenal and friendly too .Great city centre location...excellent social scene around the university with a wide range of societies and clubs. Plus Phillip Schofield himself was a student here too back in the day!!!

Feels very safe regarding Covid. Clean and spacious. Not too many people around

My partner did his Engineering degree here and loved it. Cardiff is cold and windy, but has many nice areas and great shopping. The university itself was good (according to him) but the awards ceremony long!

absolute disappointment. if I had the chance to go back on time . any university on earth would be a great alternative to Cardiff university. why is that?
1- very disengaged staff who gives no shit about you whatsoever
2- libraries are way off dated
3- facilities are very bad
4- very discriminated and unconnected beyond repair

long story short. try elsewhere and thank me later.

I couldn't be more satisfied with the experience provided from Cardiff University. Enrolled for 2015-2016 programme and I am very satisfied with the overall experience. Good facilities, cultural diversity, as well as a rich academic environment. Strongly recommended.

Rubbish University, no value for money and lazy and unhelpful staff

Not a very nice university. The lecturers can be very unhelpful at times and the provision for essential learning facilities such as books is very poor. 2012 graduate.

Cardiff University seems to be a good citadel of learning for undergraduates and postgraduates courses. There seems to be a lot of restructuring both in terms of infrastructural and innovation going on and am sure the University will bounce back as one of the best Universities in Wales. Cardiff University is a very good institution. I have learned a lot during my PhD here and have grown as an individual.

The Chemistry course that I enrolled on was made more difficult by the egos of lecturers working there. Friends that I had on other courses didn't seem to have this problem. Many staff working in the Chemistry building were at times unhelpful, rude and tried to make me feel bad for my lack of knowledge when I was paying to be there and learn. For the majority of the time that I attended university. All this aside some of the lecturers were excellent and taught very well. It's a shame to see such professors and doctors working at such a high level be so unprofessional and childish.

can anybody share which one is best and cooperative teacher in Cardiff School of Engineering especially in ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT.

I can t speak for the quality of the tuition but Cardiff itself is a great place and that s all that really matters when you re at uni.

Great uni, had a really fun time looking around. The student who toured us around was really friendly and energetic. Staff seemed friendly and there are some awesome facilities available there!

Students were asked to come in an collect ID cards, they were ready made up. They could have been mailed and avoided large numbers of students coming together when it wasn't needed.
THINK COVID-19 and use the post, duh.

I studied here and it was, on the whole, a good university. Students were into drinking and partying more than studying but that's pay for the course in the UK.

I am Brazilian and was very well received by all. The place is very clean and organized, I feel proud to know that I developed my research in this university.

The best university, offered me so much flexibility, very good supervisors, I would not be able to get these opportunities/experiences in London universities, Where I also had admission, but decided to go to Cardiff University and my study there changed my life for good.
