I studied here for two years and it was the worst experience of my life. Stay away from the School of Earth and Ocean Sciences. The lecturers are extremely unhelpful. They purposefully fail students and give students low marks with no notes on how to improve. Tutors there are the oppose of supportive! Stay away from this dept especially if you're a minority student.

Amazing university which has very helpful lecturers and staff, while providing multiple opportunities outside the classroom such as the Skills Development Service and the Doctoral Academy Programme. It also has one of the best and most active Student Unions in the UK!

Cardiff City... oh oh , what an amazing place to be in ... I have been in first time in 2015, I visited many other cities, but I decided to live in Cardiff and do my PhD at Cardiff University. People are so friendly, the atmosphere is amazing , everything is easy access, every single place I be in Cardiff I feel very comfortable. What I mostly like about Cardiff as a city is the flat ground because I really hate highly ground ... Also, they increasing development in terms of students accommodations makes students very happy as there are lots of availability and prize ranges ... Cardiff University is an awesome institution, I really like how they quickly moved teaching from Face to Fave to online in the difficult times of COVID-19... the University has taken as much precautions as possible to keep everyone safe and keep progressing education matters.... just so happy to be in Cardiff, believe me you would never regret to be here.
