The food at Dan Marino's Fine Food and Spirits is simply amazing! I was blown away by the flavors and the presentation. Every dish I tried was bursting with deliciousness. The staff was also very friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this place for anyone who appreciates good food.
After shopping we decided to drop in and check this place out and we were not impressed. The spinich dip had too many raw onions which overpowered any other flavor and our main course was below average we ended up just sending everything back.... we are never going back
First the hostess seemed confused when i asked for a table of two. After being seated we ordered the drinks and waited about 10 min before anyone came back. Then the waiter comes back with the wrong sized bottle of water which i didn t care because i wanted the bigger one anyways. After just dropping it off at the table and i begin to pour it myself he comes back and takes the bottle from me and says it s the wrong size. I said its ok ill pay for the bigger one I will drink it anyways. He said it didn t matter and took the bottle from me and brings me the little one again. I ask about the app i ordered about 20 min ago at this point and he blames the kitchen and says it will be right out. After sitting for another 20 min (40 overall) someone comes and throws a poorly put together app on the table with no silverware plates or napkins.... after waiting there for 10 with the appetizer and no one coming by I stand up walk over the waiter and ask him for the silverware. He comes back 10 min later and throws 2 plates on the table and walks away. I get up and go get my own silverware from another table. Finally i can enjoy my appetizer. I go to grab the first bite and the show up with all the other food i ordered. At this point I made a comment about horrible service and the guy says they can take it back and bring it out when I m ready. (I ve seen the movie waiting and those guys looked like first class serves next to these idiots so i didn t trust the food out of my sight so i told them to just leave it. Food was mediocre at best. Vegetables were soggy and mushy. Steak was about par with TGI Fridays or something like that. And the fish was swimming in butter and no taste at all. And they messed up my order and brought mashed potatoes instead of fries. They really didn t do anything at all right the whole meal. Will never be going there again and hopefully they go out of business soon so that a good restaurant can be put there. Prices are waaaaay too expensive for what it is. It s a Friday s type restaurant with a prime steakhouse type prices. Overall HORRIBLE
