Very poor service and extremely unorganized.
Lecturers do the bear minimum. Still waiting on semester pacer as well as assignment due dates. Would not recommend studying at damelin! Complete waste of money and time.
1. I have been waiting 16 days for a response via email.
2. I cancelled in July 2017. Debit orders and account is STILL active.
3. No refund received.
Damelin is pathetic!
Is there a 0 star option? Because 1 star feels like being way too nice. Been at the college for half a year now and need to finish the next half of the year but cannot even find out any of the information that I need as they do not answer their phone. This place has also never heard of email so I have to waste more petrol (which is just getting more expensive) just to find out what I need to find out. And they probably still wont be able to help me.
I can't believe I'm posting this. After an open day event on Saturday, their parking lot was left a complete mess with litter. And it's supposed to be an institution to educate the youth? Disgusting. Before teaching accounting or business management, how about YOUR STAFF actually being educated on the environment?
Had a horrible experience I am still waiting on my Labour Relation certificate since 2017 from Damelin cape town nothing yet still sending emails but had no joy now only received a result letter , they are most unprofessional college will not recommend them to anyone
People at this institution are disorganised.I signed a debit order to go off on the 15th of each month but for the first installment it went off on the 1st,I called thir finance office and they apologised and said the will fix this in September again this happened.I called again to make enquiries didn't get a satisfactory explanation.Now thy say I owe them R200 for a returned debit order.My bank charged me for this and they also want me to pay them for their own mistake.I made an appointment to speak to the general manager about this matter.it never waited for this person for 45minutes they kept on telling me she is busy with other parents meanwhile she was not even in her office.Its a useless institution just a waste of my money..

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AND TIME.
I was disappointed with the online certificate course I did. I signed up because of a discount they offered, but once I started the course, I soon realised the course was not worth its monetary value. The online course mainly comprised of reading course notes and answering assignment questions. Interaction with the lecturer and "class" was minimal. I had hoped it would've been more engaging. Also, I only received my certificate after I enquired about it. It arrived in a flimsy envelope and was wrinkled. I found Damelin most attentive when signing up for the course. On a positive note, the content of the course was relevant, well structured and written by the lecturer.
The worst, most unorganized college ever. They basically robbed me. I paid my student fees and yet I haven't gotten my diploma yet. My entire class hasn't gotten their diplomas yet. No explanation from Damelin. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. I understand graduation was cancelled due lockdown but they could've at least sent us our diploma's because we very well deserve it. And now Damelin just decides to go silent and not give us what we paid for? I'm surprised this place hasn't gotten sued or shut down yet. Pathetic. Something has to be done immediately!
The most pathetic service received from a college by far. Damelin correspondence is pathetic. They are so wonderful and efficient when they sign you up, once you become a student you are forgotten. Check on Hello Peter, you will regret if you choose Damelin.

R35000 later and no certificate to show they want money but dont deliver squat.
Rather go to Northlink college its allot cheaper and they offer better schoolling.

Another poorly executed educational institution. Avoid where possible, there are far better solutions available nearby.
Education aside, no matter how much us as students complained or would need things changed it was taken in and nothing was done about it. My class as well as other students who finished last year have still not received their diplomas. Understandably Covid suspended the graduation, but the courtesy of sending us our diplomas would be appreciated. But no, we ve heard nothing, no emails, no calls, no updates. This is ridiculous! I find it amazing that when the graduation was still on, emails were flowing reminding us to hire our graduation gowns, but of course, it s because we had to pay for something. This needs to be taken care of either by the head office or through other means. It is the least organised institute I have ever heard of.
'Not the best college' is still a huge understatement by far not the best college they just after your money they dont care about the students at all dont waste your time here at this college
Could you add a wording of the * 2015/2016 * Students on the web, to allow us to make sure that our children from us to foreigners are really studying. For some people deceive.
I done a short course at Damelin and a year later i am still awaiting the accreditation for that course. I sent numerous coms to them of which I never get any replies to... Poor service!!!
