I had to buy a wedding present for a co-worker. This place not only has -almost- everything you could possibly give a couple, but it is also easy to go through. I even ended up buying stuff for my own home.

I have a showroom in Highpoint Las Vegas and Atlanta as well as Dallas. Dallas by measure has the poorest management of the group. I have been in the building about 8 years with hope that things would change for the better and have not. The facade that the management puts on with there social media and new interior design wing are just late and desperate attempts to revamp a market that needed work years ago. They show the new tenants coming in with a ribbon cutting but they don't show the massive vacancy left by long time tenants within! The management may have woken up slightly lately but too little too late. They are out of touch people who probably never owned there own business, they've operated in a manor in which the tenant is property in there lease till the lease is up or voided till they find a new tenant. They just want to fill up the place without any tact or class. Thank you Dallas but I'm gone.

Nope.

Amazing environment. I love coming here on the weekends especially being able to enjoy a shopping trip and bringing my dogs. All the little kiosks everywhere with all the differences in all of it makes it so much more fun and enjoyable. One spot you are looking at clothes the next they are selling lemonade and cookies the next is plants. Like I said I love coming here. The only thing I wish they would do is have more parking spaces.

Not open to the public but if you can find someone to help you get in this place will blow your mind. If you've seen something in a store it was here first. This is the mecca of all things home, ALL THINGS!

Temperature checks at the door with masks and physical distance required. Larger showrooms required an appointment to enter so they could control the traffic in the showroom. Elevators and escalators marked for distancing as well.
Overall, a very good experience during Gift market during the time of COVID.

Here's a quick rundown on the facilities if this is your first market:

1. Restrooms are on the perimeter. If you're walking between buildings, remember that nearest Jon is a hike.

2. Learn your bus route color. Taxis and Ubers have their own pick up areas.

3. Not much to eat outside of the showrooms.

4. Only one coat check between the two buildings - basement of the WTC.

I hope this helps!

Fun

Extremely poor management. Buyers are the lifeblood of this facility and we are ignored. DMC persists in spurning the buyers and refuses to listen to requests made by both buyers and tenants. Tenants are NOT going to stay if the rent continues to rise and buyers stop coming. Eventually it will reach the point of diminishing returns, if indeed it has not already. The lifeblood of this facility is regional customer. DMC is NOT a nationwide draw. We have much better options to travel to markets which value our presence. Most of the buyers that I spoke to on my June visit( first in a LONG while) drove in. The parking seems to be taken up by taxis, valet parking and vendors. Shuttle service is good if you are already checked into your hotel and don't mind wasting time by leaving market early to return to collect your car. I would have spent several thousand dollars more if I had been able to drive right up to the mart upon arrival instead of checking into hotel and waiting on shuttle, and if I had not had to leave the market early upon departure to collect my belongings and check out. I missed several key vendors who were on my list and was not able to make the Rawlins market tour, which is a big attraction for the show.

It's huge, got many selections of product for carpet, furniture, decorations and lights. All of them are for whole sale and not for domestic house use. Visit here if you have your own business.

The market is good but this morning I called to try and get some information from the office about confirming my registration and I simply asked where on the website I could find information regarding registration so I could make sure I was completely prepared with all necessary information when I arrived and the woman working in the office was incredibly rude I asked twice where I could find this information online and she refused to give me an answer.

Great array of vendors under one roof. Can't say the same about the out of touch management team. They seem more discombobulated than Uncle Sam. Bullying and bribery tactics show severe lack of quality towards the vendors that makes this place so great.

Nice place once we found the correct door to get in. Was looking for the Starbucks that was located inside the building. Starbucks was good and the people were friendly but it seemed pretty empty inside in the morning.

Very slow market. There were cash carry shows, art show, permanents as well temp exhibitors in the same time last week. As a temp, I got few order. Since there are too many event including another cash and carry show in the other building that buyers were carrying free of charge to that building in the same time, it was not fair for temporary and order writing exhibitors.
