This firm doesn't take your case seriously, they are very efficient when billing you, but then they take weeks to reply to any emails you send. Their communication was terrible and the pandemic made it even worse. I wouldn't recommend them at all.
I had a great experience with them back in 2017 when they helped me get my first O1 successfully. Even though I've been hearing multiple negative experiences from others about working with them in the past few years, I still went with them again this time, for the reason that they know me and my case well.
I was totally wrong.
I do have to be clear that I have received my O1 renewal approved successfully in August, hence the one star. However, it absolutely does not worth the amount of stress, frustration and near heart-attack situations I went through.
It was a huge jumbled mess working with them this time, so to be clear I'm using bullet points -
- They filed my case on the ABSOLUTE LAST DAY of my legal presence in the US, which they've repeatedly promised was not going to happen. On the last day, I still couldn't confirm with them if my case had been mailed. I had to physically go into the office and make sure. Another friend of mine experienced the same thing a month later, so it is not a rare occurrence.
- The paralegal didn't really reply to emails. The worst wait was 8 days, and she constantly ignores a follow-up email as well.
- It took them more than FOUR months to file my O1 renewal, whereas it took them only two months in 2017 to file my first O1, a much bigger and complicated case.
- During the four months of working with them, I was in a constant battle trying to find out what was happening with my case. I don't get the point of having a lawyer when I am the person who needs to keep track of every step of the process. They've never confirmed any information with me.
I have worked with D Alessio Law Group throughout multiple visa petitions (and a change of status). They are professional and incredibly knowledgeable on visa regulations and how to best prepare your case. They are diligent on providing new policy updates and changes that could affect your visa process/employment.
The first initial call was great. It's the only one you will get with them. They barley respond on emails, and when they do they kind of almost answer one of your questions at best. They are quick to send bills and once you pay you don't hear from them in weeks. They don't care about their clients, they don't know what they are doing and if I can save anyone from working with them I will be very happy.
D'Alesssio Law Group is the best law service I have received in my life. They not only helped me with all of my paperwork but also with the renewal. On top of that they have still help me with any questions or inquiries. They are very professional and they always have someone to answer your questions fast. Great service, and lots of expertise, I strongly recommend it!
Working with D'Alessio Law Group has been the worst experience in my life. I've never worked with a company, or lawyer, who has been more disrespectful than this firm.
After you pay your retainer fee, this firm basically ghosts you. The lawyers we have worked with here (we're on our third lawyer) do not responds to emails. We've also been stood up by their lawyers, where they have failed to connect to scheduled conference calls.
I regret ever hiring D'Alessio Law Group. They have made this process extremely stressful and have slowed everything down while my wife and myself have been left in limbo. Unless you're famous - I would recommend staying away from this law firm. They seem to care way more about their high profile clients, and from reading other reviews, seem to ghost a lot of clients.

Incredibly thankful for Lorraine, Kelly and the team for helping me get my work visa. I had previously worked with another attorney and had been given the wrong advice in regards to filling out my visa petition. Kelly not only helped correct these mistakes but put together the best possible petition that reflected the totality of my qualifications. Could not have done it without the team.
After speaking to a few immigration attorneys who I didn't think were the right fit for me, I was referred to Kelly by a friend and upon our first discussion found it very refreshing to finally speak to someone who was honest, straight up, and laid my visa options out for me in black and white.
Not only is Kelly a good attorney, she is also very good at reading people and I felt that for me she could see straight away the route I needed to take. Throughout the O1 application process Kelly s team (Olivia & Stephanie) was clear about the steps I needed to take and most of all straight forward, honest and I really felt I could trust them. They are extremely knowledgeable and experienced and offer an invaluable understanding of the current immigration climate along with the emotional intelligence needed for dealing with these important life changing visas. For example, how fast applications are being processed, recommendations on timing of when to apply to allow for extra time should there be a request for more information etc.
Even more importantly for me, Kelly and her team (Olivia and Stephanie) dealt with my visa applications with a sense of empathy and understanding. My only recommendation if you work with them is just do what Kelly tells you to do and she will make it happen for you. She knows what she's doing. She's also very responsive on emails and there is always someone in her office available to help with questions. I couldn't recommend Kelly and her team (Olivia & Stephanie) highly enough.
Dedicated, hard-working team that is fully invested in the success of their clients (myself, included). I am proud to be part of the DLG family, and highly recommend Lorraine and Jordana for all of your immigration needs, inquiries or concerns. They are fabulous, attentive, reliable and a pleasure to work with. Their process is detailed, they are high touch and over-communicate status, progress and updates alongside their teams. I couldn t have made the move to the USA for work without their hard work, and look forward to working with DLG for many years to come. 11/10 stars, if I could. Thank you!
