The fees have increase almost 30% in 5 years, and the outlook of the neighborhood has decreased. Last year, the landscaping company failed to show up for weeks. Their management agent can't seem to even remember who we are, as he states, "I cover 12 properties." Apparently that is 11+ too many. The less than flattering reviews are well earned!

Worst company ever. No communication from them. Considered taking a loss on selling my house just to not deal with them anymore. I looked them up on BBB and they have several complaints. Hoping our HOA switches management companies very soon.

Horrible response rate to residents and when they do reply you only halfway receive answers. They have increased their fees year after year yet residents see little improvements. I am fine with paying more if it is justified. I have owned a property for over 5 years and they had previous management companies and this is the worst one by far.

Not well communicating with email regarding bill, waited to send past due charge bills. Error on account number can be corrected if payee knows on time when transaction not processed. Homeowner processed HOA monthly payment on day first online. Received mail notifying return payment on the 10th, which add up late fee charge to return payment fee. Total $40 plus $89 monthly fee. I guess email can do better to save unfair charges. Email should be able to serve more than announcing meeting days. Also, constant monthly payment for no service provided months is vague .

Just got off the phone with this company and spoke with someone who was very rude as I was trying to understand a situation. This company had purchased my neighborhood's account and only reached out via letters that I thought were spam since I had never heard of the company. You would think they would send an e-mail.

Most people do not check mail from a company they have never heard of. I have never been late on a payment in my life. I hope our future interactions are better than they have been today.

Cusick Community has managed the neighborhoods we have lived in for the past 10 years. They are respectful of homeowner needs, responsive and courteous. They have a wealth of experience in dealings with HOAs and are an effective liaison between parties! Excellent company, highly recommended!

Nicole Furrow from Cusick Management has been helpful, always returns my phone calls even when she is at her home. This morning we had serious underground water leak, Nicole was on the phone and had the plumber on our property within an hour of report.

This company is the worst property management company ever. They doulble charged my account for HOA fees and literally took over $1000 from my bank account. They keep giving me different excuses every time I call and have offered no solution for me getting my money back after 3 days and 15 phone calls. If you can avoid this dishonest company please do so! I plan to speak at my next HOA board meeting and ask them to consider finding a different property management company.

I live in an HOA managed by Cusick. They have awful customer service, treat you with disrespect when you call their general line. The actual time it takes for them to respond could be months. I had a roof that needed repair and waited 3 months for approval. Another example there was vandalism done to a Gazebo in the neighborhood and several e-mails and calls where made regarding the vandalism and it took over 6 months for anything to be done. Neighbors went out there and took care of it on their own. They expect their HOA fees on time or impose a penalty but do not follow through with the care of their properties.

Extremely poor or non-existent communication from Cusick with residents bringing up questions about violations. During HOA annual meetings, the "property director" is impersonal with no follow-up. I'd look elsewhere for your community.

I cannot say enough good things about Cusick! They always respond quickly and have been so helpful with all of my questions when I call in. After hearing so many horror stories about HOA/Property Management companies we are so thankful that we got Cusick! I would highly recommend this company - they are the best in the Charlotte area!

This company manages a property across the street from me. Despite repeated requests, they have failed to clear the sidewalk in front of their property. My children use this sidewalk for their bus stop and it is covered in weeds, poison ivy, and trash. The upkeep of the property is sorely lacking!!!

This company is our homeowners association so I emailed them with pictures of an obvious violation. I received a corresponding email stating that it had been addressed ( obviously it has not or I wouldn't have emailed you with pictures). I then called to talk to the person who emailed me and was told she was on the phone. I then asked for her extension so when I call back I can dial the person directly to which the lady said we don't have extensions ( if you ever listen to your answering machine it clearly states " if you know your parties extension please dial it now"). Reviews do not lie, this is truly an unprofessional business. If the communication was concerning collecting money from you in any capacity it would have been taken care off immediately!

We have been with a couple of other HOA's in previous neighborhoods we lived in and did not encounter any difficulties; however, with this HOA they are more interested in keeping the Developer happy (we suspect they are looking to garner the Developers other properties), than the Homeowners. There are clearly internal issues as one of their own employees told us why our Manager left and why the Manager who took her place left after two weeks. No Customer satisfaction with us!!!

My sons wheelchair ramp was IMPOSSIBLE to apply for, and was eventually denied. I wasn t contacted back for weeks despite over a dozen calls and emails when they switched board members. The process was exhausting. Pretty sad when Medicaid and BCBS works faster than my HOA. Even sadder when a little boys access into his own home is denied by our own neighbors. Disgusting. We also have nazis in visors taking pix of our home and fining us despite citings being resolved the same day of notice. Somebody has a control problem and they abuse their power. Don t move into a neighborhood managed by Cusick.

AMAZING customer service from April at Cusick. I usually absolutely dread calling HOA companies because they keep me on hold forever, give me the run around, or transfer me to multiple people. This was quite the opposite experience, she was super quick to answer the phone, had a GREAT bubbly personality, & was so QUICK to give me the information I need! Thanks for being a breath of fresh air this morning.

THE WORST SERVICE EVER!!! I can't believe how rude and the lack of professionalism by this company. I never fill out surveys or reviews for any company that i have done business with; nevertheless, I just cant help it with Cusick Management. The CSR who answer my phone call was 100 % rude, didn't allow me to finish my sentence or explain what i needed it. I am so glad my community hired a different management company. I have lived in my community for about 3 years. Recently I purchased a new home and I call be office multiple times within the last 2 Weeks to notify them that I was moving and then I will be taking care of the last payment for the HOA dues. I have yet to have a call return or an email returned or anything. And as you know the whole moving process is hectic so I ordered a pod To transport my items been a email randomly came through advising everyone that they're not allowed to park on the street between the hours of 12:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. which this is the 1st time I'm hearing of this by law that is set forth in the community. I sent an email advising I would like to discuss this with someone as to I have to keep one of my cars in the street since the pod does take up majority of the driveway so both cars will not fit in the driveway and I know it illegal to park on your lawn Unlike some people within the neighborhood who park all over their line and even have cars parked in their backyard but nothing is ever said about that. But it's OK now I don't need a response because I'm moving in the next week or so.

Our neighborhood has used Cusick Community Management to manage our HOA ever since the builder turned the community over to the homeowners two years ago. Being the HOA president, I have worked closely with our manager representative, Michelle Mobley, and I can't praise her and the company enough. She is quick to respond to any problem or question that the board or a homeowner may have. She also has a great support team that helps with creating and maintaining our budget, paying our bills and handling architectural change or addition requests.

Having been on HOA boards in the past, I appreciate the professionalism and expertise of Cusick Community Management and highly recommend them as a property management company.

It is fair to say that my interactions with the experiences with Cusick have surpassed my expectations. They are very responsive to questions and inquires and have handled issues promptly. I currently have a complaint with the S.C. department of consumer affairs against this company. It has been about two and a half months that I have had a complaint with them and the HOA board at Spicewood Community. They have continued to tell me that things are in the works, but they can t give me specific details. This is an issue that is clearly listed in our bylaws and community handbook and they can t even take care of an issue that they are responsible for. So far, I am still waiting for my issue to be resolved and any communication about the issue has only been initiated from my end. It feels like they are brushing me off until I get worn out. It is funny how reviewing other complaints is eerily similar and Cusick s responses to these poor reviews is to contact the office . Honestly, everyone that has left a poor review has already tried to contact the office numerous times in an effort to resolve the issue, before leaving their own poor review. I guess they only respond to a bad review because it hurts buisness.

She always tries to be responsive and professional both to our Board of Directors as well as our property owners in need of assistance. As a Vice President on our Board I work with Nicole closely and it has been a pleasant experience!!
