The first floor looks to be both a restaurant and a place for drinks. The live band was exquisite. Upstairs is more bar/club with limited seating. I prefer the downstairs environment. The ruby slipper is awesome.

A pretend boutique hotel on an ikea budget, The Culver Hotel tries to capitalize on it's old Art Deco fame. The remodelers took away everything art deco away from this place and replaced with run of the mill construction materials, feels cheap through and through.
Location is removed from anything interesting in LA with very limited food options unless you drive. When staying there it feels like you are trapped in the twilight zone, terrible service and spotty internet connection. Will never come back,

Susan was our server. Susan, you are a gem thank you so much for your amazing service. Scott is the first person you'll see before entering this establishment and his contagious smile is what brought us in. I ordered wine, but this was probably the best tasting wine I have ever had. Thank you so much for attending to my needs! I will certainly be back.

I've lived in Culver City for 10 years and have always meant to stop for brunch or dinner and I finally took the time to do so and I'm extremely glad that I did. I ordered the crab cake Benedict and my wife ordered the waffles and chicken. The coffee was made to perfection. It was so smooth and rich in flavor. I'll definitely be coming by to have dinner at some point in the near future.

Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The room's decor was very interesting however the chandeliers in the bathroom and bedroom were in need of repair. Other than that room was great. The history of the hotel is also very interesting and is on display throughout the hotel. I would stay again.

Beautiful hotel with a great history, but the lounge always seems to be crowded, even on a weeknight. Also, sorry to see that they moved the comfortable seating outside. I'm not a fan of tall wood chairs at communal tables. It will be nicer outside when the weather gets warmer.

Last weekend on a Sunday afternoon I had brunch at Culver Hotel's patio restaurant: Le Jardin. We had reservations (recommended) and no issues getting seated. Tip: to find this outdoor restaurant, walk all the way around from the hotel entrance until you see tables and striped umbrellas. Keep walking until you see the podium.

Food: I ordered the chicken & waffles which smelled so good and tasted just as good. My friend and I both ordered this very pretty cocktail (I belive the name has the word Ruby in it) it even had glitter. We were looking for something sweet and this did the job! The provided sanitizer wipes which was nice.

Service: Our waiter was super friendly and nice, but unfortunately, service overall towards us was not good. 1). Without notice, the host came and moved our umbrella to accommodate (provide shade) for other customers behind us....... this was very distasteful and embarrassing for us (tables next to us watched/stared). We tried to stick it out but it was way too sunny and hot that we had to flag down the host if to see if he could find another umbrella to provide shade back to us. 2). My friend's food came out super late (although the waiter handled that well and was nice). It just took away from the already below average experience we were having.

Have not had the opportunity yet to stay here but was allowed to walk thru dining area and up old staircase to second floor..there were old furnishings and original features in general that made me wonder which munchkin (s) or famous actors could have sat down for a while or passed through this historic hotel...love the nostalgic feeling I had while there..will be sure to stay here next time....hope there is a bible in room..

Bar is small and quaint, sitting room is rather large and well maintained with gentlemen in suits picking up empty drink glasses. Very tall books let that scales up to the ceiling on one side with old B&W movies bring projected onto the other wall.

Great historical Hotel, lots of old world charm. Fiding parking in this area is very frustrating and often impossible. To get a drink can take a while, and are usually just ok. The live jazz is however very good and the interior architecture and decorations, makes a visit worthwhile.

This hotel is pretty nice. I have nothing I can compare it to in the area though. The room we stayed in was great. The only down side was the bath tub in the room. It was an older style leg tub, which was nice esthetically, but not very easy to shower in. Staff was great, very friendly. Food was also good, we had the morning bunch. Parking is cheaper if you stay in the adjacent whole foods parking garage also. Overall a great place to stay at.

I have been to the bar on the first floor many times. It's a fantastic little place that feels like you're back in the 1920's. Great drinks, great staff, love sitting on the patio outside. Highly recommended!

I really loved my stay at the Culver! Really centrally located, staff was helpful, the place was nice and cute and clean. I didn't make it to the nightly happy hour or live jazz (though I'd have like to - rough work schedule), but the bar/restaurant was lively at night and a fun spot to check out! Lots of restaurants within walking distance and really convenient to the airport and client spots around LA. Will definitely be back!

1. Lavender Collins: sweet and light touch of lavender. Refreshing drink!
2. Pomegranate Mojito: balance of sweet, sour and scent of mint brings normal casual mojito a little surprise.
3. Banana Floats: it's just perfect! Must try if you are graving for desserts!

Stayed here for our anniversary, and I cannot tell you how unbelievably cool and accommodating the staff was. We upgraded to the suite on the top floor, and were blown away at the room. The staff brought champagne and sweets, and made our stay one to remember! Thank you Culver Hotel!

This is a charming boutique hotel with an old Hollywood theme. I was fortunate to get a corner room on the fifth floor, with views of the city from three directions. The queen room was small but nicely decorated in the style of the hotel, and the bathroom was updated beautifully. The restaurant has a limited menu but the food was excellent. Only downside is no self parking, just valet.
