Great chopper/motorbike exhibition a few weeks back fantastic atmosphere and a couple minutes walk from Waterloo station.
Great chopper/motorbike exhibition a few weeks back fantastic atmosphere and a couple minutes walk from Waterloo station.
LOVED this cool & funky place! Spent a rainy day inside watching the animated movie "UP"... for free! Friendly people, clean spot, funky artwork to see and a great way to spend an afternoon.
The facilities are amazing. The skating areas such as the mini ramp and bowl have a small learning curve because they are much faster and smaller than usual ramps. When used for a while you will enjoy it all the same. The bowl is full of speed. Pumping around allows for insane fun. The problem with the facility... is 3 of the members of staff there often mocked me and my friends. As we are mostly intermediate we don't do the smoothest of things and mess up quite a bit. We were often laughed at and snaked by the members of staff as a joke. One of the members in particular was very arrogant and violent. Any time he messed up or someone went when he was about to go, he would slam his skateboard into the wall and swear. But we had a 6 hour session and it was great!! Other than that.
Something needs to be done about the seating, unless you are sat on the FROW it can be very uncomfortable. Hear the skating is good though!
It s like an underground maze. There s so many things going on. Great vibes
Here for the boss exhibition, looked like a good venue too
If you have a chance watch a screening in here. Its a very nice setting in some cool underground arches.
A free, indoor concrete skatepark in central london? Automatic 5 stars. It has a great concrete bowl and a small street setup with some interesting features. It also has a tight transition mini ramp, and they have food and drinks and lockers etc.
Had a one hour lesson with my daughter. Great introduction to skating with some good tips from the instructor. Very relaxed so you can go at your own pace. Everyone was very friendly and even had a choice of boards and pads provided. And it is all free!
Top marks to the staff. We will be coming back!
Great fun for us and the kids, the one metre deep ball pit is fantastic.
House of Vans is an awesome skate location in the heart of London. Highly recommended!
Surprisingly good little venue in the arches of waterloo station and not to expensive on bar price, would recommend
Nice vibe, good value food and drinks, free art gallery, we watched a free film and also enjoyed the free photobooth
One of my most favorites venues ever! Definitely worth visiting, both to see its rich programme or just to watch a free movie.
Dope venue! First time here. Decent space, attended an Off Spring x VANS. event. Bar and food was good! Location is cool too. Not sure about AC but the crowd was packed. It was a bit hit but there was air flowing. Dope spot.
Cracking place.great skate park with free lessons and boards on Saturday and Sunday. The enthusiasm of the staff is infectious.there's lots of other stuff going on as well as skating: gigs, art exhibitions, food and drinks available, loves it.
Saw Metallica launch their 2016 album there..great place to visit and was there again in June for the Metallica early dayz experience..5
Fabulous venue with so much going on all the time. I am so pleased I found this little gem for me and my boys.
I only wish they sold merchandise here. Still, you're never too far from a shop selling Vans
Great venue with interesting & varied events mostly free or inexpensive, Great to have somewhere like this in Waterloo.
For advanced skaters only. Very small venue. Interesting setup.
Free tickets, free t shirt, the most ridiculously polite people and a dude with one arm and a hairdryer. Awesome venue. Amazing night
An incredible place and more if you are lucky enough to attend a concert
Little tricky to find but worth the search. Metallica pop-up shop was a feast for the eyes and on-site bar was a bonus.
Nice place to skate. Well organized with toilets and a cafe for us who waits
Awesome venue, I'm still to see somewhere as cool as that place. Seeing Volbeat live there was an incredible experience, free gig, free t-shirt, free earplugs (if you need them). The venue is literally under Waterloo train arches, and it has 5 arches, each one with different things, skateboard bowls, a little cinema with skateboarding videos playing, bars and a canteen. Great experience, go if you can!
Wonderful venue with a skate park, two bars, screening room, lockers and a small cafe.
House of Van's hosted ADTR and I can honestly say it was the beat night of my life, from the beginning of the que to the end of the gig every member of staff helped to ensure the night was safe and memorable! Very well done to the team at House Of Vans!
Venue with one of the best atmosphere!! The sound is not that good but it gets better as you stand closer to the stage.
Even if you don't skate, it's a sick location and venue to check out. Awesome aesthetic.
Watched Royal Blood here. Good times - unique venue, defo a place to visit at least once. Pro tip: go to the free gigs - you're likely to get free entry at the door due to people not showing up ;-)
Great little skatepark although a little cramped when busy so not a place for beginners.
The food at the Cafe is amazing, best burger in London! Would rate 6 out of 5 if I could!!
Probably the worst service I've ever received in some 20 years of gigs. If the bar is seven deep 10 minutes before the band are on stage and your man is flicking glasses off his biceps and dispelling literally zero molecules of sweat while winking at the pretty girls, it's probably a good sign to find new bar staff.
Very nice concept. Kids can have skate boarding classes, there is a free cinema and a concert room. Well done to all the people who works there.
Wicked place to go,great for children who want to learn to skateboard.Friendly staff.Theres a cinema that you can go in ,that has a couple of shows a day and a cafe with reasonably priced food.Great place when its raining and you want to skate.Events on constantly but you need to check the site.
An indoor and free skate park. Nice modules for all levels. It's essentially dedicated to the bowl.
Hidden gem of skate parks in London. It's basic but it has plenty of events open to the public for free, mostly. Included skateboarding events, movies, contests and classes. The food here is also decent and cheap! Overall, pretty chill place to hangout.
Love this place. very current yet vintage. lovely teachers and a safe environment for your younger bubbas to get down and rugged with the skageboards.
Amazing space, offering something for everyone. Great staff. Free skatepark, films, events, workshop, photobooth and exhibitions
Gnarly skate park, oscillator convention was amazing!
You have to love this place given the amount of activities and events on offer for FREE alone.
The staff are clearly themselves feeling a lot of positivity from the knowledge of this and come across as friendly and engaging.
The skatepark, while mainly geared towards ramp skating (and not massive), is well constructed, they keep the amount of people in there low enough that it never feels too busy.
The site also comprises of a cafe with reasonably priced refreshments, and little cinema showing skate videos and feature films, a gallery and an event space with a decent sound system.
Even though I dig the excitement of street skating more, with the spots being skate stopped over the years and given how much rain we get in London, I'm glad companies like Vans are providing places to skate for free, and this place delivers above and beyond by providing all these extra activities and a nice environment.
Amazing night here for the free Volbeat show b- lies of free stuff to collect and drinks were reasonably priced.
Such a great skatepark and the art exhibitions and the free things given away are so good. There is also a great tunnel full of graffiti which is amazing.
Great Park, interesting bowl, good food. But, the staff in the cafeteria couldn't find their own arse in the dark. Worth visiting
Great place for music and art, ok place to get a skate in, decent beers
Here is amazing!!!! The staff are cool, nice, knowledgeable, patient! There is a staff called Jason he is so good at teaching me as a beginner and very very patient!! He is funny as well! The food here is cool and price is reasonable, everyone shd be here!
Brilliant place for skateboarding, art and music. One of the hidden gems of London.
Amazing place with free cinema, music events, nice food, average price drinks. Awesome photo booth which is free!!
Great place to visit to practice your skateboard skills, either as a novice or a skilled 'boarder'
What is not to like? Represents an amazing display of generosity and goodwill to skaters that complements the Vans brand perfectly. Would go again!
Crazy place. Indoor skating with bars and entertainment. Excellent for kids especially
Nice staff, pretty good concerts but slow service in the cafeteria.
Iconic venue, visited for Metallica pop up as well as exhibition. Experience ruined by obnoxious woman working on merch stall. Absolutely no need for it. Shame.
Went to see A Day To Remember here. Great size and layout venue, but my GOD it was sweaty and hot. Everyone was close to passing out and the air literally felt wet. There were only a couple fans, one to the side and one above the front row, which were nowhere near enough to cool that number of people. It was a great time though! Just drink a LOT of water if you're going to a busy gig.
