Cubby's Sports Bar & Grill Review

The restaurant featured 3 sections and combats excessive noise well. The food was great and prepared well with all requests handled. The area we were in had multiple TV's and could show any sport.

Outdoor seating on the roof deck makes for a great atmosphere! Food was great too!

My favorite thing to eat here is the Italian nachos. I love the Sunday Bloody Mary deal, and the rooftop is the best outdoor place to eat in Brookings during the summer. I highly recommend this place!

Typical sports bar, but people around here think it's the first Hooters or Buffalo Wild Wings.

Great service, friendly staff ... even with our large group of knucklehead hockey players and parents.

Good bar food, decent beer selection, but between the dozens and dozens of TVs, projectors, and speaker blasting music, I can't hear anything anyone is saying. Their upstairs deck is pretty nice in the summer when it's not super crowded.

The apatisers were great. The waitress was great, very nice, attentive, But when I ordered the sliders I ordered onions no mushroom. Of course they came with mushrooms which I discovered after two huge bites. They remaid the sliders but rushed them so they didnt sear the buns properly so it was like biting into limp butter. I got a little I'll. However I did have a few drinks that were odd (I panicked when ordering). In the end I got a lame apology as I abruptly found the waitress paid tipped her and left. Long story short I should have stayed at home. At least my date a lovely time.

Great food, great music, and amazing service. Our server was amazing she was very kind fun and made sure we were taken care of. 10/10 would recommend and will be coming here again.

Cubby s always has amazing food! Can t go wrong with anything on the menu. Awesome place for going out with friends or family.

This place is legit. You gotta go here if you're in town. 57+ TV's. Awesome food and the best service we had in town.

Bar maids are wonderful folks an the roof top is pretty sweet

Cubbys has pretty great bar food and solid drinks. If you can get a seat on the rooftop, DO IT!

Fun place to be on a weekend night! Rooftop area is a great place to hang out and it even has heaters.

Great Sports bar! We try to stop here whenever we are in Brookings. Friendly and fun staff that goes out of their way to provide amazing service. Great place to catch a game or pregame an SDSU event.

They have a great outdoor balcony that receives the same service that the inside gets.

The wings are really good, but the specialty nachos that they have are amazing. They also have the best jalapeno peppers with raspberry dipping sauce.

I just stopped by for our supper and he was very good and good soup too! Wisconsin cheese!!

Burgers are NOT good and stuff seems to be overpriced however its still very busy most the time.

I have to stop whenever traveling through Brookings for your Thai Nachos. Wish you guys had a second location in Sioux Falls!!

Why five stars? We had Chislic, they are steak bites. We had them grilled, they are excellent. In addition there was spinach dip, excellent, and french dip sliders and waffle fries. it was all excellent along with the dark beer and I finally got my Hennessy that I have been searching for. The staff is great. Three min. till a waitress asked what we wanted to drink, four min. the drinks were there and the waitress took our order. 15 min later we had food in our face. It was all delicious. Would go back again in a USMC heartbeat.

Cubby's is a local favorite. The food is always good and so is the service. They have a very large menu for any customer's appetite. Also the beer selection is awesome.

Service was above average but the food there is fantastic. Would wait around all day for those nachos!
