I feel the workers here are no help at all and everything at this school is just plain unorganized.I feel I just made a big mistake of even choosing this school. I honestly should of just went to a different school instead of wasting my time and money over here

Such a nice campus! Tons of helpful friendly people too! They have so many fun activities during the summer months! Grab a calendar and pencil in some fun! Most of them are free too! They hold the annual pow wow where you can learn about native Americans.

Went to school here 1996-1997. Loved my classes especially Airforce R.O.T.C. Campus life was great teachers were inspiring. If I was younger and still physically able I would do it again in a heartbeat.

- Friendly students.
- Very nice/clean campus.
- The computer engineering program is terrible though.
Overall 5 stars.

You get what you paid for. The staff members need more training since they do not know how to process and always give students wrong instructions. Today I was at parking office. The guy gave me wrong direction and when I came in someone asked to run back for a second time since the first person was wrong. I stepped into Bursar's office asking for help and found that I did not need to do what the parking guys told me to do. Fortunately I was able to get things done but if I did not ask around, I would be kicking back and forth forever!

It was a great experience to go to this college. I grew up on UCR's campus and I wanted to go to a more open campus and it was a great choice to make. I didn't have a great dorming experience my first 3 years but the commute wasn't bad from Riverside to SB. I can't wait till June when I finally get to walk. Make sure to use RateMyProfessors, and if you have a disability, sign up for SSD. They really work with you and I couldn't have made it this far without their support.

It's one of the most beautiful universities I have been but obviously a little biased towards my universities and a little towards stanford university as well.

The libraries here are very nice, quiet and the building and architecture here is amazing.

First day as an international visitor student and they offered me a parking citation of USD54 - for a totally crazy reason (the parking permit being paid, ofc).
This approach ruins everyone else's efforts, and overall they do not deserve more than 1*

Wow I almost lived near here until on Jan 10 2018 I was watching the news there was violence and there was shots fired near the University. Im so glad I will never live near there or go near that area. Horrible. Where is the Police? There should be a station in the middle of the uni

If you like overpriced units, frequently canceled classes, feeling out numbered no matter what race you are, and your degree changing the requirements for graduation, then this is the school for you! The only good thing that ever happened that this school was when Weird Al Yankovich came. The teaching program, the nursing program, the liberal arts program... are all very impressive in the book but do not equate to good jobs even though their programs it's still inflated sense of self. Would've earned three stars for the hot chicks but most of them have very bad attitudes You 'd think there were more sororities here. Save your money and your sanity, go to Valley College San Bernardino or Victorville. Especially for nursing and law-enforcement.

ok.

I attended this school for a few years off and on. The different departments NEVER talk to each other or know what the right hand is doing. They tell you to go admissions, admissions sends you back to another department and so on. They are on the same campus!!! Apparently no one knows how to pick up a phone. I did not receive my degree from here because I decided -for my own sanity- to go to a better school and receive my degree by taking online classes. It a lot more homework and term papers due almost every week but at least you don't have the stress of no one knowing what they are doing. I would not recommend this college to anyone unless they didn't want to leave San Bernardino. The parking is a joke and the women better carry mace if they attend college at night because I never saw security at night.

There are nice lawns, plenty of parking space, and space for students to relax. Professors are struggling to support students as a whole, but there were places where the school's cafeterias were under construction.

Coming in as a junior transfer student attending the business school. Its a transition for sure coming from a community college. They people are very friendly and helpful. Faculty staff just seems to be very focused on helping students be successful. Tons of resources available. My only very minor concern is the lack of an adequate system for those with vehicles. Parking is bad and the nearby businesses prohibit parking on lots. The school wants students to get the pass. There is a free lot on kendall and palm but that is the only one. Other than that. Great school!

Horrible experience at this school. Admin staff, advisory staff and most professors don t care about your education. They re just in it for the money, adding payments to your account for things you ve never attended/heard of (lied about coyote first step being free, had to pay for the free class ). Advisory hold placed on my account so I made an appointment with my advisor to register for classes and he never showed, I waited for an hour so I went to the office of administration and they said they d call me or email me to take care of it but nope....... still have the hold on my account. Professors show you one grade and then change it online weeks later to a lower grade. JUST A BAD SCHOOL DO NOT ATTEND!

Warning Do not attend this college, the dean of the major will change classes required to different classes, so you would have start all over again. This campus is very greedy and doesn't not care if graduate. About 12 classes previously taken were changed and discounted toward the major. I have been here 28 years and Dean of my major changes the required course to a different set of class. Don't attend this campus it impossible to graduate, this campus is more like prison than university, strong possibility you will never graduate

P.S. don't come late at night around 3:00 a.m., because protitution activities are present, and very visible continously the campus police fails to a through inspection. I had a morning class and since I work night shift I go straight to campus because the instuctor was stricted on attendance

I was excited to attend here as a veteran student. Unfortunately, my experience has been a bad one so far as a veteran student. Typically, I am hesitant to write reviews and allow time to play things through especially as a transfer student. The veterans office dropped the ball; I filled my paperwork with them back in July for post 9/11, and it took me following up in August to see were my paperwork was at and for them to notify me they needed one additional piece. Took them approximately two months and ME following up to tell me that.

Nonetheless, my Post 9/11 was never filed with the VA until September 6th, so at the moment I am looking at going 4 months without BAH or tuition for Summer and Fall paid for by my Post 9/11 meaning my FASFA disbursement went to tuition instead of books. I am disappointed with the VA office at this point and their lack of follow-through to ensure transfer Veteran students get situated. My current curriculum in Information Technology Cybersecurity has been the only upside to my attendance at CSUSB and recommended the program to anyone. Hopefully, this review will get feedback, if not I plan on writing a full report to multiple military and college ranking magazines about my horrible transition.

I used to work for the dining services and they do horrible things to save a buck for example you really think any of the food is fresh lol not even close. There was even times that I was surprised that we passed health inspection. Overall great school but horrible food dining service.

(Bio major) Good experience overall! Professors are great and friendly and ready to help, they messed up a few times with my credits and financial aid, but the staff was always nice about fixing issues! The students are pretty friendly, and the area is decent, plenty of places to walk to down the street and eat at!

I m a freshman at this school and I can tell you already avoid this school, the education here is not good especially for computer science. It s tough to get classes that you need for you major, not enough teachers and classes, and some of the teachers are not good at all! So if you want to major in computer science, don t enroll into this school, avoid it. Also, you ll be learning C++ which for most people it won t help them for the future.

I graduated with a BA in Art Education and later went on to get my credential to teach art. Let me go ahead and say STAY AWAY FROM THE COLLEGE OF ED. They hype themselves about being the best campus, but they are by far one of the WORST organized campuses I have been in. You have to deliver all your paperwork to them because they have no clue how to set a system in place to transfer paperwork from one building to another even though THEY ARE ON THE SAME CAMPUS. Every friend of mine who has gone through the credential program has had some issues which has postponed not one, but two of my friends education. The campus never communicates with you and even when you go to ask administration, they swear like they sent the information to you which is absolute bull. When my friend and I finally were able to complete the program, they did not even have a ceremony for the students that graduated. "They will email you to let you know if your credential got approved, have a nice life...good luck on your own." I have another friend right now who is struggling just to get in even though we warned her about the disorganization of that campus. She got a last minute notice AFTER she submitted her PAF to the college that she did not even have her degree yet because these people who have specific jobs don't even know how to do it. I guess they just sit around all day and get paid while other students get screwed out of starting school. Now because of their fault at not giving her a heads up they expect her to pay 2700 up front before she can register for classes? Who's fault is that? I find it so sad they can take advantage of the students who are just trying to get an education. Sad to say that is the business of College. Just a bunch of money hungry people who don't give a damn about your education.

While going to Cal State San Bernardino I experienced nothing but stress and anxiety. This school doesn't really offer much in helping you graduate. Its one of those do it your self schools. You cant even find a open class you need on the day registration opens up.

I received my BA from this school. Their College of Business school was awesome. A few drawbacks are it's a commuter school so networking is almost nothing. The career center is useless. They really need a professional to help students and not just see them as a number. I noticed some improvements to be made but overall it's a good school for the undergrad experience. You're on your own in finding a job!

Diversity is high, people are humble and work through school, cheap tuition compared to other css or uc. Commuter campus is a downer and not much else to do in the city but that isn't csusbs fault

I came here for a B.S. in 2009, graduated in 2013 so graduating in 4 years is very possible. Tuition and housing is affordable, crime is low, good lighting at night and a wide range of majors to choose from. The professors are good for the most part and the only drawback is the food on campus, especially the commons. its overpriced and doesn't taste well. The campus itself is in a great location and is pretty nice. I would recommend this for your undergrad

I graduated from cal-state in 2017. This school has something for everyone as long as you apply all of the resources provided to you while you are enrolled here.
They always had plenty of events and always post helpful information.
It is conveniently located by lots of housing and was a better price than many schools in the southern California area.
I am a die hard fan. GO COYOTES!!!!!

I decided to live on campus partly because the rates here on student housing is ridiculously cheap comparative to other universities in California. What influenced me to transfer to CSUSB is because of their Psychology program and the overall ratings given to the professors here. The university here is surprisingly spacious. So far, this school is surpassing my expectations and is saving me more money in the long run! If you are an undergrad, it honestly does not matter what school you get your bachelors. I seriously underestimated CSUSB.
