Crystal Springs Family Waterpark Review

Great for the kids. My little ones, including my toddler, have a great time and can go down the kid slides by themselves. They love the splash pad too. The larger slides are fun for bigger kids (48 in tall minimum). It does get crowded though, and sometime the water is a bit dirty. Still fun though

I have been there twice already and I love it.... I am even planning to go there again with my family

I have taken my family here several times. I rather go here than deal with the prices and crowds at the larger water parks. This place is small but has enough pools and water slides that your younger children will enjoy.
I would not suggest this park for teenagers as there may not be enough excitment for them. Overall this is a great place to visit if you want to relax and keep cool on a hot summer day!
*Update*
If you go after 4pm its cheaper on weekends and weekdays. Either way is this place is still cheper than going to Hurricane Harbor, Moutain Creek or Doorney park

Me and my friend went there in July, it was hot and we had to wait in this loooong line to get tickets. It was super hot and there was a lot of people. Once we managed to get to the ticket booth the tickets were very expensive! They brought the price up because it was the 4th and it was $28 for a nonresident Kid! When we actually went inside the experience was okay but not great. The 3 slides are cool but the pools were kinda disgusting because they had sand stuck at the bottom and it was super crowded. The Lazy River was decent though. Everything else was standard

With more shady places it would be perfect .. since it gets too crowded and many times you have to stay totally exposed to the sun because there is no place ..

Girls finally tall enough and they love the slides. Lazy river, the lilly pad obstacle course. All of it. Go during the week when its not as crowded.

I don't agree that they don't let people in if they don't wear a bathing suit. If one pays I think we can go as we like

Very good place if your looking for a fun family place I would recommend it, it is worth the money.

Place is awesome. Perfect if you have a small child. Lifeguards everywhere keeping the horseplay and silly antics to a minimum. This means one doesn't run the risk of some random eight-year-old running full speed into a two-year-old. Safety first attitude is great here. Free for military, which is awesome. If you are worried about the price: I've been in New Jersey a year now, and if you live in this state and don't expect to pay quite a bit for everything you do, well, you are in the wrong state.

great place except that there always way too many camps there and price point is way too high even for residents of EB

This is an amazing place to spend time with your family and enjoy your day. I have been here 3 times and it is very safe and fun. The life guards don't actually yell at everyone but there isn't any running aloud and the lazy river is just so nice. In the lazy river it is required for a person to either be on the float or inside of it but no swimming of any sort. They have pools for all ages and heights and their water slides are very enjoyable. Bathing suits are required for safety hazard reasons and they have fun activities. When I went with my hispanic family (race has nothing to do with the price) of four we payed $100. If was expensive but totally worth it. They had many grills and benches for bbqs and parties. It is a great experience that you can enjoy with your family.

The place is nice but some workers there are so disrespectful ever, they don't have patience and they are rude. I was just there and one of the guards or the security screamed at a little girl the girl came out crying!

A month ago we made reservations for our birthday party for our daughter with autism. She loves swimming and we LIKED this waterpark, as we often visit this place.

UNTIL;

First, they only allowed my husband's name on the contact (because we have 2 different addresses on our IDs <our own personal preference>) so on that day when I arrived before my husband at the Waterpark, THEY DID NOT ALLOW ME AND MY DAUGHTER, THE CELEBRANT ENTRANCE!!!, because my husband is not present. He was on another (food& supply) vehicle enroute. Until his arrival, I had to calm my very upset autistic daughter. #notautismfriendly #autismspeak #autismawareness

2) We paid for a reserved party for up to 50 people, naturally we brought a ton of stuff. We inquired if we can set up early since the waterpark changed their hours, closing 2 hours early, and we wanted to set up prior to our guests' arrival. WE WERE REFUSED, and they had the audacity to tell us to have our guest come later !!! Additionally, my husband was not allowed to leave his vehicle and unload at our tent (he would have to park at the end of the lot) so my son was the only one bringing our belongings to our tent under the intense heat of the day, WITH NO ASSISTANCE FROM THE PARK (yet they annoyingly set off their speakers to remind people to keep hydrated) but risk my son's health & safety #FAKE #UNACCOMMODATING

3) #NOTHANDICAPPFRIENDLY Not 30 minutes at the place, I see my handicap sister in law, whose in crutches almost poolside with no assistance whatsoever from the SUPERVISOR chatting it up with a LIFEGUARD ON DUTY not 10 FEET AWAY. ANOTHER time, my husband witnessed another lifeguard with disregard and completely no concern for my sis in law along side this lifeguard at the very same pool where a young boy drowned in the year prior. No wonder!!!! #lifeguardwhat #safetywhere #shameless

4.) YES, there is MORE! MANY INFACT!!! Crystal Spring "FAMILY" Waterpark is NOT family friend to those that gave a non-refundabe deposit for a reserved party. They gave us a half filled cooler of ice. They has to assist with security a family member that just wanted to drop off their gift (not in swim gear)!?! They initially said they will accommodate our Ice cream cake (LIE!!!). AND Not 2 hours before they close, they paged my husband. Not 30 minutes afterwards (they lied about having my party paged for cake) another page for my husband, take a wild guess what they want... that's right, MORE MONEY! They said that since all our guests has arrived, they would like to be paid so they can get their monies before the end of the day. #appalling Later on upon leaving, a security/supervisor was making me speed up my clean up so they can close EARLY (my question being; why did the place open instead from 12-8 for the health safety of "their staff" that would be working at the cooler hour of the day) . Oh, did they just try to rush my sis in law out of the park???

Do I have more to complain about this place that I thought would be a great place to put my hard earned money on, ABSOLUTELY!!! Yes, there will be another post and not just here. Be sure, you will see posts on social media. To warn others that will plan Reserved "PARTIES" at a place that does not cater to parties but only to your "MONIES".

To Crystal Springs and the Mayor of East Brunswick, remove your RESEVED PARTY modus operandi when your facility did not accommodate whatsoever, what a major disappointment, an awful experience!!!

I don't know how this place got bad reviews. It's a good thing I disregarded them and went to ck it out for myself. I loved everything. It's like a mini water park. The facilities for the little ones were cute, the lazy river was relaxing and the slides cool. My mother had previously hurt her arm so when she tried to go in the pool she got dizzy and fell in. The staff rushed to her side and management was there in seconds. They checked her oxygen and heart rate. They gave her some oxygen and stood by her side till she was better. I could not thank them enough. Everyone was friendly and they kept warning everyone to stay hydrated and keep cool, because it was such a hot day. My family and I would definitely go again. They've got my thumbs up.

Good mini water park... the lazy river is fun and there were tons of places for our toddler to have fun. Slightly pricey... recommend going after 4 for a lower rate. A fun place for the summer in general. A plenty of space to sit relax or have a picnic. There's a cafe here as well and a mini beach. Our son had a great time!

DROP THE PRICE.. I paid $22 a head because I'm an out of Towner.. The price is a little steep for a small water park.. and this water park is small.

they didn't even explain to me to why I needed a bathing suit,And they didn't let me or my Family use the park.and they didn't give us the money back.And they harassed us with the police,if we didn't come out of the park.For not using a bathing suit.

If I could give a worse rating I would. It was over crowded, and not worth the money. Worst experience I've ever had. Was questioned about my bathing suit, and then pulled out of the park and arrested, because police got a call from management that I looked suspicious, while on a ride with my girlfriend. Then to top it off because they didn't have lockers due to over crowding my wallet with 250 dollars cash and credit cards was stolen. Worst water park ever!!!

We took an hour and 30 minutes to get there and then they tell us to wait until four o clock and we come back at 3:59 and get there at 4 just for them to kick us out and not let us go in that s not fair we were waiting for about 2 hours just to get in and they don t let us in that s not right ,so if your planning to go there don t because they are very rude and disrespectful.

The lifeguard was very rude and inconsiderate! Scared my kid and made him cry when my child fell off the slide, kept whistling at a 2 year old for crying. Our family is in shock! We left right away. I m so upset.

Beautiful place with the worst customer service , I live in East Brunswick ,and I show my ID for proof of address ,and I was getting from the gate with my kids 10 years and 13 years and they started to ask my kids where they live and what school they are going to In a way I felt that I am a thief. I tried to ask for supervisor to explain to him this way isn t right but even the supervisor wouldn t listen to me.i will never go back there again.

It is a very good place that will enjoy more children have many water games for them and 2 swimming pools for adults, the day that was me was a Sunday and was super full arrive before they opened and there were already people open at 11 am ask and leave enter before they open only to the members if you are a resident of the area are 300 and if you do not come in the area 500 the membership you can also pay only for the day I recommend arriving 1 hour before they open because it is too full especially for the purposes of week, if they go after they open they bring umbrellas chairs because they will no longer find shade or tables let them go through food and all that, so they can be prepared so that they are not suffering from a table or shade chair since those who arrive first occupy all that, the kids will love this place.

Separate from the water park and unmarked, is this gorgeous lake with beautiful trails around it.

it was ok for the price, went there to attend a friends kid birthday party and it was nice. not for the older kids but definitely recommend for the younger ones.

Great family atmosphere, pools for all ages. Would give the extra if the rules of the lazy river were less strict.

Small but perfect for a afternoon trip with the kids. Outside food is allowed but they also have a luncheonette with affordable prices. Non-residents pay different price, a little higher. After 4pm, entrance is cheaper. The taller slides require riders to be a minimum height of 48inches. It has a lazy river, 2 bigger pools and too smaller ones. There is also a sprinklers kid play area and an obstacles pool game.

Nice place, very neat, saves lives everywhere, good attractions and infrastructure. Super recommended

Place to spend a quiet day and enjoy it with the family. With its free parking and its different swimming pools area for children and adults.

Great place we loved it. A bit over managed. The life guards were a little too strict. The line for slides were moving too slow. I still give them 5 stars

I was wearing an athletic (excersise) shirt and was not allowed to bathe. I feel descriminated against for the fact that 3 american women were wearing regualr t-shirts and were allowed to bathe simply because they claimed the were wearing bathing suits under. I spoke to one of the managers about the issue and also asked what the difference was between my shirt and guys wearing a regular tank top. His response was "for men it's about heigine and covering their private areas" they expect women to walk around half naked. Never coming here again. Terrible service. Racist life guards and absurd logic.

Memorial Day.... The snack bar didn't have enough workers. It was a long wait for food. The staff that was there did an excellent job though!
I was disgusted by the anouncement the manager made on the intercom around 7:05pm. She said "anyone that is still in the facility is trepassing and needs to leave." At 645 everyone has to get out of the water. So you are given 15 minutes to leave the park. That is not enough time to gather things,shower,change, etc. I will find another water park to go to.

Great water park for the family. You can bring your own food or buy from their kitchen. There are lifeguards everywhere which gives you a sense of security. Only downside is that non East Brunswick residents pay double the price of that who lives in East Brunswick.

It isn't that good because you can get bored easily but it is still super fun

I have to say I am giving 4 stars only because I will be going tomorrow for the First time yet the girl who answered the phone was my reason to decide to go due to how nice and HELPFUL she was and even at a busy time around 12 ish pm she took the time out to even see how far the hotel we are staying at was! So as someone that worked with the public I gotta say very great Staff already plus my friends recommend it highly!

The water was OK and my grandbaby loved it. There was a lot there for her to do and she was only 4 months. A bit pricey though probably because I was a guest. Residents are cheaper

Your refund has a lot of activities to do I love the riverline and I love going down the slide so much fun great time to spend with family and friends

I just had the worst experience in my life with those people . So unprofessional, rude, disrespectful , dishonest , racist .

Good place to cool off. out school system is begining to hold 6th grade end of school parties there now. well organized. the park is small but enough to keep everyone busy for a day. EB residents get a better rate.

Would definitely go there again. Great for kids lazy, pool, alot of sprinkler's, basketball court. Food if you are a non resident it's 28 dollars per person. Under 2 free. I would recommend going there when it opens (11am) after 1130 it's gets packed and parking goes fast. There is chairs already there but it's first come first serve. Also there are tents too but first come first serve. There is a mini dand area to play for the kids.

Play in the water enjoy the food ! Spend the day with the kids ! $7 entrance fee 50% off for EB residents ! Just your ID !

As a Veteran, the greatest benefit after getting out of the Navy , a benefit that helped me to relax , was Crystal Springs allowing me entrance for free . Raising my two boys in New Jersey is not easy , being able to escape to Crystal Springs to swim and read a book , brought me the rest and peace I really needed . Now that Crystal Springs is no longer allowing Veteran's entrance for free , doing away with this I can't understand... I hope the managment will allow this again, the staff was always nice, the food was good and the waterpark was always clean .
