Crowne Plaza Ravina Review

The place is very run down and is not maintenance at all. We only found one floor that had a working ice machine. The bathroom is very dirty and there's chipping paint, broken tiles, etc. all over the place. The parking lot is a very long walk from our room as well, not convenient at all. The pool isn't working either, and "hasn't for many months" they say, so I would've found a different hotel had I known that, NOT KID FRIENDLY

The rooms look great but the bathroom is subpar. I do think those could be better. The good that was offer but the hotel is delicious. My company was catered for and what was provided was good for all pallets.

Foood takeeess an eternity to come to your room!!!! I ordered 1 bowl of cheese grits and had to wait an HOUR .... yeah ..... that s a no for me . Room service is slow

Hotel is right off the exit, great service, clean rooms and I very much enjoyed my stay.

The hotel is beautiful and well designed. The rooms are very affordable. You should check it out, when possible.

The hotel is in average condition and the restaurant has limited hours. The room service was rapid and provided my good in 20 minutes.

I usually love staying here. Every other time I've been here everything was perfect. This trip, however, I requested firm pillows, towels, and even toilet paper on more than one occassion and it was never brought to us. We even went to the desk and asked the clerk for the things we requested and was only given towels and told he would put a request in for pillows. What about our toilet paper? Thank God we werent all the way out when we started asking. Then our second or third night there we set our trash can in the hall in front of our door for the cleaning people to empty and it sat there for 2 days untouched. I understand that Covid-19 has everyone staying their distances but this was barely even mediocre service compared to what they usually give to their guests.

Went for professional conference. Parking is multi tiered and easy to get to. Their catered food is delicious!

Newly renovated. Interesting guestroom decor. Very professional staff at checkin. Convenient location to businesses, shopping, land the MARTA.

I am a Hilton guy, but we were here for a work event.
Fantastic service even with no status I was treated better than most of the Hilton properties stay at. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Rooms were comfortable and quiet. Good WIFI.
Food at the bar and restaurant were ok, staff wasn t quite on it but the manager saw the need and jumped in.
Kudos to the valets and bell staff who ran to get me towels when I returned after getting caught out in a downpour while on my run.

Beautiful Hotel, staff was amazing, rooms large and everything was well thought out. Comfortable beds and nice bathrooms. Beautiful lush relaxing outdoors walking trail.

Room service was too expensive, 16 bucks for a grilled cheese?

I came to this hotel to visit some friends and it was so beautiful and the rooms are huge

Very clean and well maintained property. Great spot for business travel.

Great location. Super busy with multiple conferences/events going on. My only issue was our room was not thoroughly cleaned when we checked in. Also didn't like being on the 2nd floor. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast buffet is decent.

The staff is great. They took care of all our needs.

Nicest room that I have had in my three trips to Atlanta. We have been in a different hotel each time and I will be suggesting this as the permanent lodging. Location is comparable to other perimeter hotels, and the Ravinia area surrounding is quite pleasant.

Room is nice, quiet. Hotel ambiance is very nice. The restaurant Bistro 55 has a limited menu. I'd suggest the buffet as long as you can tolerate the limited food selection. It's priced fairly reasonable and the food was decent.

The location is great. The food was absolutely delicious, and the drinks were very good.

Recently remodeled. Nice modern Decor and new beds.

Had a suite with a few friends. Everything was awesome. The staff was very courteous.

Very bad experience with Crowne Plaza.

The hotel overbooked. I arrived at 5pm and I got a room just after 9pm. The hotel also triple charged my credit card; I disputed with AMEX to remove the charges.

The just remodeled a portion of the rooms here and it looks very nice and clean. I would recommend this to anyone. Good food and great fir conventions. Beautiful forest area behind hotel and unique forest theme on interior.

This place is gorgeous, the indoor garden and the outdoor garden really make this a wonderful place. The rooms are very nice and spacious with great decor. The staff were all great and friendly. Loved staying here!

Trash in the parking garage during our weekend stay was unacceptable.
Trash and smell filled the 11th floor hallways
Told the hotel staff several times and it never got corrected.
Rooms were nice and service staff were nice.
Working with sales and catering staff was a very pleasant experience.
Front desk staff were probably too stressed to be nice at the time, as the hotel was booked to capacity.

I enjoyed my stay here. The lobby is beautiful, the facilities are very nice, and the staff is both friendly and accommodating. My only gripe is that the decor of the room I stayed in was minimalistic, brash, and confusing to the point where I felt like I inhabited a cell of artistic dystopianism. Aside from that though, things were peachy!

Nice hotel. Close to shopping and food. Plumbing system kind of slow. Bed was very comfortable and I love the relaxation kits they provide!

Hotel is very nice.. Everything was new and looks good but the important thing i felt not far away from home because of Ahmed & all team took care of me and my family and gave us a very nice experience. I will come back again.

Was here for training, its a nice upper scale hotel but the rooms & service could be a tad bttr. Air conditioner is no good refrigerator don't get cold & u have to pay for a microwave. So inconvenient without a microwave and have to go down stairs if u don't have extra $25 fa a microwave. Breakfast is good if u catch it y its hot but other than these issues its a nice hotel.

Setting is very beautiful. Staff was friendly. Small miscommunication issues but overall a very nice experience.

I stayed on the 14th floor - corner room. It was amazing! Great space, comfy bed, good room service selection. Def coming back!

Was here for a Melaleuca event. Great place for meetings. I did not stay in the rooms, so I cannot speak to those.

While my experience at the hotel was pleasant I have been unable to get them to remove the hold on my credit card even after multiple calls to the Hotel Manager.

Personally, I didn't care for this hotel at all. Given the cost of it, I would appraise it as "sub-standard". I have stayed at better, more restful and relaxing hotels for more than half the cost! Just for some background, I stayed at the Crowne Plaza Atlanta Perimeter at Ravinia during my Friday & Saturday attendance at the 2016 Southeastern Conference on the Teaching of Psychology (SETOP '16). The conference itself was mostly satisfactory and I learned a lot, BUT my experience at the conference (which was held at the Crowne Plaza) would probably be far more positive if it were held at a different hotel. I found the Crowne Plaza to be loud, stressful, and even a bit unsavory. The parking is horrible. My check-in was stressful. The front-desk staff seemed woefully under-trained. The room-service was cost prohibitive. Lastly, the WI-FI connection was slow. I stayed a Motel 6 a month ago for a separate event and I think it was far superior to Crowne Plaza!

It was about a 30 minute cab rid from the airport. The hotel was beautiful inside. I attended a trade show in the ball room which was nice as well with great food. The shipping team was beyond great as well.

Some friends and I were in town for the Octane and Caffeine show we stayed at the newly renovated Crowne Plaza at Ravinia and had a great stay. The staff, hotel location and food & drink were awesome! This is now may go to hotel in Atlanta.

It is nice and in a very nice part of Atlanta. However it has that low rent feel with the customers that were there while I stayed.

The hotel is a popular location with various professional and social organizations that hold large gatherings. The hotel's location makes it relatively easy to reach from locations north, south or on the east side of the northern perimeter.
