The spacious and comfortable room I stayed in was very comfortable, but when the group stayed in the next room, the room smelled of smoke, strange, is it not forbidden to smoke?

Great location. Friendly, helpful staff. Gorgeous rooms, comfortable beds, huge showers, great views. Lovely experience.

Outstanding new hotel, just the breakfast let it down

The room is nice and of a decent size, but the construction workers outside make sleeping past 8am impossible.

Good accommodation options. Car park is chargeable basis. Room was good size. Bed very comfortable. Location is excellent. Very near to cathedral and shopping area.

Super hotel - can't wait for the construction outside to be completed.

When we arrived the night staff was friendly, but in the room, there was no shower caps or soap etc. also only 2 towels. We stayed in the dubble room with our 5 year old and only got two cups/glasses and there was only one coffee. When I phoned the front desk, they picked up the phone and dropped the call x2. The breakfast (included) was the best part of our stay. Sadly won't book there again.

Good location but told could not eat in as a resident because the restaurant was full never come across this before as a paying resident told room service was avaible.

Lovely welcome. Friendly front of house staff. Rooms are well designed with nice features. The hotel, unlike some others in the city, has ample parking (outdoor), which is very helpful as it is quite difficult to find alternative parking in the centre.

Went the restaurant upstairs for breakfast, absolutely delicious food, great staff, well managed, spotless restaurant.

Nice hotel good location. We were able to Uber in and away from the hotel. The only low point was checking in where they asked a bunch of questions. It seemed to be almost interrogation Style. Where did you come from? Where are you going? How long have you been in New Zealand? This is all before they handed us the keys almost as if it were an interrogation and if we failed we could not stay there although we are highly paid professionals.

Was mediocre, not as good as expected. Would not go there again.

Spent 3 nights here, very comfortable room and bed. There s option to choose from few different types of pillow as well!

The work desk and chair is comfortable to get some work done while on holiday.

Hotel ideally located in the city center. Clean and nicely decorated room (modern). Breakfast is excellent. I recommend the pancakes! However very bad soundproofing between the rooms so much that I woke up several times during the night with the impression that someone entered our room ... The pillows were not terrible either but we could have choose another if we stayed more than one night.

I gave two friends a voucher for high tea which they used on Friday.
The excitement after the event was better than the gift giving, as they have done nothing but rave about the service, the staff and the food.
Money well spent if one islooking for a special treat as a gift. The presentation of the voucher is also gorgeous, and the reception staff are very very efficient. Thanks to all who made that day so special for my friends. I appreciate this.

Because I had seen it built last year, and this one, when I returned to Christchurch, I saw it finished and very nice !!!

Went for breakfast it was typical for a hotel nothing amazing. But good food and relaxed environment.

Levi provided a great welcome, and the hotel was great with all requirements met.

Drinks at the bar were fine. There were some rather tipsy guests there at the same time which were fun to observe

A bit expensive for what you get I thought but was a pleasant experience all the same!

Just called to enquire and check the breakfast included as of booking.com. The American lady who answered was very pushy on the phone and told me I had to book then and there and that they were offering free parking which booking.com didn't in the package.
I said I would call back and she said I'll just book it for u now and give you a cancellation exit I said no and she said otherwise you will loose your room so I hung up. Couldn't get a word in to pushy and rude for my liking. We will spend our money elsewhere

Amazing facilities, beautiful building and excellent, accessible staff on site. Great food options, fantastic technical equipment (although the machines in the 'library' could do with a bit more speed). Excellent layout, lovely bathroom and a fresh modern building. Looking forward to the next visit.

We arrived at 10am while tge check-in time is 1pm, the front desk manager and staff were very helpful and were able to find a room for us to check in as soon as possible and it's a good view room. Really appreciate it!
