Nice old, but renovated, hotel. I was only doing a speech there, but all looks good.
Nice old, but renovated, hotel. I was only doing a speech there, but all looks good.
It is amazing with spaces and yet we find an affinity in the place
I love the bed and the pillows super comfy. The wifi is very strong. You have a very good connection anywhere in the hotel. The place is accessible to the Brussels north station. Rogier station subway is just one step outside the hotel.
Huge hotel looking like ported here from 80s. Everything is a sort of used but its still ok for quick business trip. I can't even imagine what a hell must be to have small childern here. With young ones, you should look elsewhere
Nice hotel, turn one way coming out the door and it's nice modern clean city, turn the other and it's dirty, seedy and if you got mugged I would not be shocked....hooker central!
Beautiful big room. Superb internet experience (20 MB down and 30 up).
We had a beatiful reception for the retirement of a colleague. Insode the horel is very faschitating, in a style and with colors that remind of Klimt. At thebreception some food was offered which was very tasty and light. The palce seemed clean and neat, all in all a very nice ambiente. I cannot say anything about rooms and prices because I did not have the honour to see them.
Warm and friendly welcome. Personal super nice and caring. Super nice room with a lot of comfort. We will return again without hesitation!
This was THE BEST hotel experience we ve ever had in the EU. Alex and the whole staff made us feel incredibly welcomed and taken care of. The room was immaculate and the room service to die for (best duck and salmon I ve ever had in a hotel). Thank you for the amazing experience for our first time in Brussels; we will definitely be back!
Hotel rooms are very dated and look like the inside of a pikey's caravan. I asked for a room with a view and was given a room which faced another window 10 feet away. Asked to be moved and given a room which looked onto another window 20 feet away. The air con was a joke, nobody came to look at it and the weather was 30 outside, total sleepless night. Furniture just falls apart, never been fixed right and this was all for 150euro per night - bargain.... Having stayed at lots of Crown Plaza's around Europe, this is by far the worst.
Very nice hotel.
Very comfortable and very clean room.
Great breakfast.
Nice hotel, good location (better for business) only about 10 minutes to city center and the walk is really nice. The walk from Brussels Nord Station is not the best walk (lots of homeless and not very good area). Pretty good for the price.
It is comfortable
Until yesterday, I stayed at a hotel for 60 euros per night, and although there were some problems, I thought that it might be good because it was cheap, but Crown Plaza is definitely better!
It is natural (sweat)
I checked in early after 12:00.
That you are a member? And the drinks in the room (mineral water, cola, coffee etc.) were free!
The rooms are great too!
There are several subways in the square in front of the hotel, making it easy to access.
When going to the hotel from Brussels North Station, we recommend approach from the west exit because the east exit is very bad.
Room 330.
Our room was a little out dated and could use an update. The room was very clean. I did like that the toilet and shower/bath were in separate rooms.
When we arrived we were given 1 robe, 1 pair of slippers and 1 bottle of water even through there were 2 of us in the room. The view from the room was of the other side of the complex.
The breakfast was underwhelming. We purchased this as a deal with our booking. I would not pay at the hotel for this. The waffles were stale and coffee bitter. They did have an egg boiling station which was good.
The area surrounding the hotel is not great. The hotel itself is situated in a really run down area of the city.
Our air conditioning was leaking and a flow had formed through the entire room during the day. Not exactly pleasant if you constantly have to be careful not to get your feet wet. Otherwise our shower / bathtub was very outdated and when showering you had to be careful not to cut the palm of your hand as the shower hose was broken and sharp-edged, and the water pressure was not sufficient!
The staff was very helpful and friendly & breakfast buffet was okay.
Price of the room clearly unrealistically expensive! Total overestimation of quality.
Prices for drinks in the foye also way too expensive!
All in all, not worth another visit.
Nice hotel to stay with good food. Having big market nearby.
Nice place, close to the shopping street. Rooms clean and have quiet air conditioning. But the wall are thin, could hear my neighbours a bit too well. Just across the street there is a beautiful garden.
Great hotel, the concierge is a real gentleman chapeau.
Very good hotel, great accommodations, nice breakfast and staff.
The hotel is clean tidy and comfortable. The staff are very helpful and always do all they can to help with any request.
Nice spacious room. Gym had a sauna which was an unexpected bonus
Crown Plaza hotel in Brussels is a very comfortabel nice hotel with a good location. The price is relatively cheap. The building is old but except for some squeeking floor and thin walls (which were no problem at all) the hotel is very cozy. We really enjoyed out stay. The staff are very friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was also no disappointment. Although the scrambled eggs don't look very appetizing they are actually quite tasty. I don't have a single complaint.
Great hotel. Everything neat, clean. Wonderful beds. And very nice staff. Location (for our purpose) super. Public transportation right at. T was delicious.
Chic hotel, very spacious room, king size bed. Ideally located 10 minutes walk from the center of Brussels
Beautiful classic building. Well located near to the main shopping street and mall. It is three blocks far feom tje Nord station that links to the airport. In 15 min walk you can reach the grand place. A metro train station is at the back door.
Hotel located in the heart of Brussels city center. Spacious rooms, professional staff and good price.
The hotel was very pretty and the rooms very spacious. The bed was huge and you could even hear German channels on the TV. The breakfast buffet was amazing! really can only recommend it
Good location. Good ambience although old facilities.
Superb hotel Horta decoration. The staff are very friendly and efficient.
Good hotel, terrible location, next to lots of bad places next to fare du noes. I went on my honeymoon with my wife and it was very unsafe to go out at night, we felt bad about this area of town being so much run down
Very nice old fashioned hotel. Great location close to metro and 5 min. walk from North train station. Nice breakfast. In summary, very convenient for business traveller.
No heating in the rooms .. perfume in the halls unpleasant ... quite dated .. bad room soundproofing ... No secure parking.
Clean, comfortable rooms, spacious meeting rooms. Good option to consider in Brussels
Aging hotel that seems to be abandoned even if the staff does their best
Nice hotel, nice room, slightly lacking in soundproofing. Negative point: the curtains were very dirty.
Great price, great service, great accommodation and location
Splendid hotel in perfect location. Staff are always very friendly and make your stay a memorable experience. Highly recommended.
Standard CP affair but with added history about 100 years old. As it's centrally located noise was bit of an issue. Breakfast choice limited but adequate. All staff super helpful. The gym on 3rd floor is a little small and limited equipment available. Espresso machine in room a nice touch but need more milk provision for the cup of afternoon tea for this Brit!
It is a perfect hotel to spend a few days in Brussels. Very well located, 10 minutes walk from La Gran Place, and close to the train station (if you go to Ghent or Bruges), and with urban transport stop nearby.
As for the hotel very well in general.
Good hotel and very well located, at the beginning of the main shopping street. This pedestrian street takes about ten minutes to reach the Grande Place, in a very comfortable way.
The room is quite large, as is the bathroom. They have furniture of very few years and in good condition. Common services in a hotel: international TV, Wi-Fi, minibar, ...
Breakfast is a buffet and is very abundant.
I also recommend it for business trips, as was my case. I will return when possible.
I hope my review has been useful to you. And if you liked it, let me know (give the "Like").
Central well connected, near the station and also downtown. Good rooms and business room with internet. Buffet breakfast varied.
Amazing hotel both for staying as well as for conferences and events. Food and staff are also great.
Hotel at city center..morning buffet spread is good..economical..
The rooms are very confy, staff always prepared, many services in the hotel and it's a good looking place. The only downside is that maybe it's a little pricy
The location, the cleanliness, the breakfast are the advantages of this hotel.
Good hotel, with fully working air con which was needed the last few days but be aware of the 37 euro breakfast charge...this hotel goes to the top of the most expensive breakfast I've seen.
The hotel and staff were wonderful. Suited our purpose and close to everything. The only thing that let it down was the breakfast, cold and greasy.
Also would recommend you take your own pillows theirs were lumpy and uncomfortable.
Fabulous art deco hotel. Rooms modern and comfortable with excellent air conditioning. The bar is a highlight, and can be dangerously difficult to leave!
Great breakfast and attentive staff, within walking distance of the grand place and close to a number of metro stations. Spacious rooms, lovely bathrooms and comfortable beds
Despite being old, the amenities provided are sufficient, heating is good enough. Big room and their shampoo and lotion smell really good! The interior design is definitely old looking. The staff service is awesomE! They provide free printing as well! It s near to Rogier metro ! Convenient
I booked the hotel online and trusted the description. Unfortunately the only window through the wall of an adjoining building was adjusted (in approx. 2m distance). The request for exchange or cancellation would be rejected, on the grounds that in the description no room with a view was offered. For a lot of money a darkroom. After this experience, living in Brussels with my children was not so nice any more. HONESTY also requires blaming. I find it difficult to find good words for this hotel.
The Place is haunted. Nice room and nice staff. But in the room TV was turned on and off by itself. Midnight flooding in the bathroom...
Lovely hotel friendly staff very good location to all amenities
I only came back for a cappuccino.
What happiness! A real Italian cappuccino with milk froth and not like a lot of place flooded with fresh cream
Good location. As an ihg member the wifi was reasonable and fast. The mattresses however was left to be desired as a personal preference i prefer a thicker mattress
Beautiful room but failed experience on breakfast (affluence, complicated service, breaks ...)
Good location for walking and close to train station. Excellent desk staff!
Very nice welcoming hotel and pleasant stay. Cozy room and breakfast at the top
Although the old-fashioned style does not please everyone, it must be said that it is very comfortable. The rooms are spacious and the bedding perfect. The service is excellent and the staff lovely and caring. Metro is less than 50 meters (Rogier) and the center has 2 metro stations or 10-15 minutes walk. The breakfast is average, for the category it is more 3 stars than 4. Otherwise it is a good hotel rather well placed.
Hotel is ok in a very good central location for Brussels. Right next to the metro station and lots of restaurants. Staff very friendly and presentation of the hotel overall including room is very good. Even if the double bed is actually 2 single beds pushed together which isn't really what i was expecting for this hotel. The real thing that lets this hotel down is the food. Food here is not very good at all. Food is of poor quality for a hotel that presents itself as quite up market. When ordering room service a meal that comes with chips. They came in a paper bag next to the plate and they were all shriveled, unappetizing and looked like had been sitting around for awhile then microwaved to warm them up again to be served. After this didn't eat in the hotel again. For dinner went out to restaurants nearby that were 100x better.
Everything was fine! The reception, the rooms, the breakfast ... Not much to improve ... maybe the bathrobes in the rooms, there was only one when we were 2 and the same for the slippers . The mini fridge is really mini especially since they already place drinks there.
Great service. small but clean and functional room. get the breakfast pkg. easy 15min walk to the grand court. 5min walking distance to Brussels Noord train station.
