I have used Crown twice for local and nationwide moves. Both times they were great. Very professional and does not waste your time when on the clock. The packers were careful packing ensuring no breakage, drivers cordial and honest about the entire process from end to end. When I called customer service with questions they were knowledgeable, listened to my concerns and responsive. Definitely a company I would use in the future. Great experience.
We recently moved locally and it was a bit complicated. Crown packed some of our household and took that and some of our furniture to storage for a month or so, so we could stage our home to list it for sale. Once sold, a 4 day move to our new home was scheduled... one day to pack, one day to load, one day to unload at the new home, and the next day to bring the items from storage. As stressful as moving can be, this process was organized and accomplished in a professional and timely manner. Very helpful to have polite and understanding movers. They did most of our packing as we were on a tight schedule. Very impressed with their communication (very important to us), as Alicia would call us several times a day to be sure all was going well and as expected, as well as touching base prior to the move day to confirm. The drivers would call us before arriving to let us know when to expect them. We have used Crown in the past for longer distance moves, and I would not hesitate to use Crown again.
I wish that Yelp gave options for Gold Stars! The team that arrived at my house were simply amazing. I have used several moving companies in the past and my experiences were horrible. As I was planning this move I dreaded the whole process because of those experiences with other movers. The crew Steve sent to my house were like a cool breeze as they melted the stress away. One of the crew members even took the time to carefully protect and ensure my son's most precious items were transported like precious jewels. This company packed my things for a move abroad. When My things arrived in Europe many things were broken. Some stuffs were badly packed when they arrived and therefore I am left many broken items like my lamps, couch and any much more. Can't recommend them.

Left USA to Costa Rica October 12th got to my home December 26, 2019: First, I want the reader to know details of my move as it compares to others. I went to CR and was giving feedback to Crown. I am a Costa Rican retired moved back to CR. My brother is a business man in CR familiar with customs processing. We both with boots on the ground were ready to be the eyes and ears of Crown in CR. I would not have written this review but Crown having me there and not reacting tells me I need to let the next mover know. A Vice President was my first contact at Crown and thru the end. I was connected to a Lead International Coordinator for Crown but for the most part she was missing in action. Three (3) times I stated my concerns in writing to Crown regarding the CR Coordinator. The first complain was in early October, I was still in CA and could tell by reading her emails to Crown/me that she was a junior and a follower. My house was picked up October 12, 2019; I drove my truck to their warehouse next day or so and left NorCal Saturday, October 14th. That same day I contacted Crown regarding the original title of my truck and I was told by the coordinator it was being sent overnight to Mudanzas CR. Thirty (30) days later my goods arrived into CR and Crown then informed me the title of the truck was still held in San Leandro, CA just to be sure I would pay for the second portion of the move. It is important to note full disclosure here. If there were concerns about me paying the second portion of the move, they could have told me and I would have paid before hand, but instead they told me it was being sent and behind my back they held it. Crown lied to me and did not exercise full disclosure in their business with me. I now needed to pay Crown in a hurry. My US bank would not allow me to wire more than 5k per day, so required multiple wires at $25-30 each. Crown offered to take a credit card for a $300 fee and I asked for a reduction based on the rush but was told by the VP . It is what it is . I had no choice but to pay Crown the $300 fee. On that November 18th I had to complain the second time to the VP about the performance of the CR coordinator but nothing was done on behalf of Crown. On or about December 9th I was still dealing with both Coordinators on getting my truck out of Customs and nothing was being done. My brother and I drove to the central Customs office where they told us the name of the officer . They also told us she covered 3 international warehouses and told us which office we could find her. All warehouses are closed together so we drove there and found the officer, it was then Tuesday, December 10 my goods had gotten here November 18th and the Customs officer told me she had not heard anything about my container arriving and needing review. Our intention that day was to get the truck out so we decided to bypass Mudanzas CR/Crown and figure out ourselves how to get the truck out. We got all paperwork done, drove twice to Customs Central Office; we got all necessary approvals by Costa Rica Government and by around 4:00 p.m. that same 12/10/19 we drove the truck out without assistance. At this point and after my complaints the manager for Mudanzas CR took the over the process thru completion. Unfortunately, it was almost Christmas time. I think I have given the picture of Crown s performance while giving them the benefit of the doubt for having to deal with another country. The lies on the title are unacceptable. As a minority being treated with lies by a WBE (Women s Business Enterprise) is the last I would have expected. Crown may be good within the US. Would I recommend Crown internationally? No.
From the initial survey to the unloading of my goods the move was seamless and enjoyable. The customer service of each team member surpassed my expectations. The estimator was through and had an estimate for me before he walked out of my apartment. The packing and loading went great. The crew was efficient and left nothing behind. The coordinator kept in direct contact with me along the way. The delivery crew were very professional and courteous. Moving is stressful but the crew left me at ease. I would recommend their service.
