Crossroads Kitchen Review

I just have to say, this is probably my new favorite vegan restaurant in LA. I came here for brunch on Sunday with my best friends and Scot (the head chef) and our server David were just outstanding. It was my birthday and they were so, so kind and took great care of us. Scot even sent out a new cheese bread filled with ricotta and vegan egg yoke that was TO DIE FOR. Truly an incredible birthday brunch and I will be back soon to try the lunch and dinner menus. Outstanding service and delicious food. Thank you, Crossroads!!!

Very nice decor and pleasant service. We tried several different items and found them flavorful.

Crossroads is amazing. If you have the chance to eat here you are a fortunate person. Whenever I visit LA I try to make it in and I ve never been disappointed. The food is absolutely delicious - truly inspirational. You cannot go wrong on the menu. Most recently I had a set menu that was offered and it was a great four course meal.

Well I love cross roads but ! Snooty and ego have over taken the great food they have been a nightmare during pandemic . Refuse to place food in car insist on contact serves ..shame shame You have made fortune , we big $$$$$ for the food it really is all about you..

The food is flavorful and delicious. The service is great! Don't forget to make reservations.

OMG This place is amazing. I only go for lunch because its more then half the price of dinner. I drive 2 hours just to eat here!

This place isn't cheap but was totally worth it. The vanilla milkshake was very vanilla and I liked the coconut flavor. The Impossible Burger tastes just like a real burger straight from In-N-Out. Costs $14 but who would've known this was possible?! So cool. Only issue was I didn't get pickles with my burger after being asked if I wanted them and saying yes. All else perfect.

sorry but this is totally overpriced and overrated food. non sexy decorated plates for these prices are in not acceptable

the taste of the most dishes was very good but except this unimaginably bad chickpea dish for so much money. i been eaten vegan around the entire world but this .... no go!

parmesan cauliflower - nice but i have eaten much better at many places and $10 for 1 slice

scaloppine parmesan - good but much tomato taste and much to simple for $20

impossible cigare - best dish great taste

chickpea - taste was ok but a entire bowl is much to much and to expensive for what it is.

i would expect for this prices some better styled dished as they served.

So I came here today for new year's Eve and im just a little disappointed .The food was okay, very small portions. Service was okay. However, what I am most disappointed about is the misinformation I received. I called this place on December 19 at 10:44 pm. I called to find out exactly what they do for new year's because I read something about a celebration. I was just calling to find out, not to set a reservation yet. But the woman I spoke to on the phone dasa that for everyone that comes in gets a goodie bag. This is not true. That was actually the main reason I set this reservation because it seemed like a good deal to have the 5 course dinner then get a goodie bag. I asked the servers now and they said there is no goodie bag. Also, the woman I spoke to on the phone never said that my reservation would be set at the bar. I'm very dissatisfied with this horrible service. I hope the manager reaches out to me to make it right. This is just not okay. It's like I wasted my time and money for nothing.

For a non vegan you'd never know!

So expensive, worth every single penny. Whenever I can afford it, I go here for a decadent dinner and always have the time of my life. The food is amazing, the staff is usually very friendly, the ambiance is gorgeous. Highly highly highly recommend. This will run you about $75/person for a decent food experience, plus extra for drinks. The Hard Times cocktail is my favorite, and the artichoke oysters are legendary.

Great atmosphere with familiar menu items from my youth; from back when I used to eat meat many years ago. Service was very good and I will definitely back again for my Birthday next year.

Highly enjoyable for all; vegans, vegetarians, AND omnivores. The food is incredible. One of the appetizers we got was the calamari, which is something I truly miss since become vegan, and it was shockingly similar, even in texture. The Alfredo was also spot on to true Alfredo.

Great atmosphere and food, though pricey given the portions. Try the pizzas, pastas and truffle potatoes.

The impossible meat was delicious, but I had to have it on a pizza in the form of a meatball. Was really hoping to try it in the advertised Burger to truly compare meat to impossible meat, but they don't serve the burger outside lunch hours. Boo! $$$

The most SUPREME vegan dining experience that my husband and I have had since becoming vegans a year ago! Will definitely be back for special occasions!

A stunningly good restaurant and being plant-based makes it all the more interesting and special. Excellent service (Michael D. is THE BEST) and interesting, tasty food at somewhat higher prices but worth it for quality. Worth of lots of support to survive in today's competitive restaurant market. Even good for "non-vegans", too!

Feel good about eating good food. Don't think of Crossroads as a vegan restaurant. That would be missing the point. This is a destination for some great food. Dig deeper and the inventiveness will amaze.

So Katy Perry named this restaurant in the Postmates commercial she says it's there favorite but I'm looking at the pics and honestly I've seen and tasted better food so I'm confused Katy Perry is my favorite but idk if I can trust her taste buds lol it's like this place is really trying to be something great idk maybe because it's in LA it's just hyped but idk everyone has different taste buds

Amazing food. If I didn't know it was vegan I would not have known it was vegan. The Bolognese was perfection!

Good vegan food in small, expensive portions. Have had mixed experiences with service, but over all good.

HOLYYYYY I had to check twice that this place is vegan after trying the impossible sausage sandwich. So so so freaking good. Same with the pancakes. 12/10 recommend coming here. The crossroad Benedict were great (but as a separate dish not an eggs Benedict imitation imo) potatoes also sooo good! Valet parking is $8 huge compliments to the chef. When I m rich and famous I m gonna hire you to cook food for me all day!!!

The set menu for Valentine's was amazing. Five courses of wonderful vegan fare in a relaxed atmosphere with stellar service. It's on the pricey side but for the quality of experience you receive in the niche market Crossroads caters to I'd call it a bargain.

So good and surprisingly unpretentious. I love the chicken and waffles, and always good kombucha on tap.

Delicious meals however sitting arrangements and noise level could use some reformation.

I can t believe there is a plant based restaurant this good and it s primarily Italian style eats!!!

Upscale vegan dining. Feels trendy and looks expensive but it's more affordable than other vegan restaurants I've visited.

Among the best vegan food that can be found in one of the most vegan-friendly cities. The late-night "impossible" sliders are fantastic, as are the cocktails.

Probably the best vegan restaurant I've ever been to

I have only been here the one time I was invited for a private event. I still remember being in awe of the fact that everything I ate was vegan - I am non vegetarian so this experience was a bit of a revelation for me. Every single dish was delicious and the wait staff so patient to explain where the ingredients are from and how it is prepared. The place is packed no matter when you go so reservations are highly recommended. I also hear celebrities frequent here often. I know for a fact the day I visited there were at least two tables with actors seated there ;)

Truly an excellent spot for vegan food. Great flavors. Fresh ingredients. Innovative creations. Likely the best vegan food I've ever had.

The food is ok. Very small portions so prepare to spend over a 100$ for 2 people.

Crossroads was my favorite restaurant till today. I arrived before our reservation but my guest was stuck in a traffic jam. So they refused to give me a seat at a table they said you can stay in the lobby or go to the bar area. I can t believe this and after 25 minutes I asked if I could be seated to the manager he said no because we are losing money and now if you are going to stay over the allotted time ,which is 1 hour, we will have to find another table for the next party. Never again, I can somewhat understand their point of view but not everything is about money. I could have ordered an apetizer or they can allow walk ins if money is all they can think about. This is bad business. I have never witness anything like that ever in my 46 years of existence and I have travelled around the world.

Not just most amazing amazing vegan food, but amazing food period anywhere in LA. Do yourself a favor and try it, I bet you can't try it only once.

One hour of waiting to eat a half-empty plate of past pasta. A real joke We had to ask for a pizza so as not to be hungry and when we saw the pizza we almost burst into tears ... It was the mini pizza. I'm not coming back

Great food with great ingredients! It makes you forget meat for at least one night! The pizza is a must as the "chicken" piccata. I also enjoyed the friendly service and the drinks: the Trilogy gave a double take.

Refused to give us a table. Kept telling us 20 minutes and saying they would call us when the table was ready. Super rude and when we confronted them they acted clueless. So immature!

The absolute best LA has to offer! Their "seafood" tower was out of this world.

A solid four star place. I'm vegetarian and have to eat gluten free. This place has great option for gluten free without it all being soy based. Get the crispy mushrooms, it's really yummy.

Food was amazing I'm from Arizona I'll definitely be going back sucks I didn't run into travis barker but maybe next time.

A delightful experience with an amazing atmosphere. The food is just perfect to the taste and our waitress was extremely friendly and helpful to give us the specials of the day. Definitely if your in the area , take a break and enjoy some delicious food and positive vibes

This is our go to anniversary spot. The food is amazing. We always leave happy. The charred ricotta, tomato bisque soup, and flat breads are always a must have.

The food and atmosphere were lovely and staff, initially, very accommodating. We felt like we were rushed a bit, we were in and out in 40 minutes, not what I look for in a restaurant of this quality.

Absolutely phenomenal food and amazing ambience! The menu is so hornet and exquisite your non vegan friends won t realize its plant based! I adore the meatball pizza, it s spicy and fresh.

Everything here is handcrafted and made to order, the ingredients are locally sourced and absolutely fresh and delicious. No store bought cheeses or faux meat products. Very high quality!

Hands down, my favorite vegan restaurant in LA. Brunch is amaze -- can't go wrong with their take on the McMuffin breakfast sandwich and blueberry pancakes. Lunch and dinner are just as incredible. Crispy "chicken" Milanese sandwich with mayo and pickle on baguette? So good! Cesar salad with creamy dressing and vegan parm? Yes, please! Do the carbonara pasta or bolognese for dinner. You wont regret it.

We come here every time we're in LA. Awesome vegan menu. Have tasted just about everything on the menu and it's all deliciously amazing.

Honestly, I am surprised to see that so many people like this place.
First of all: nothing special. Beautiful inside atmosphere, feels classy. The menu looked interesting, but the food was... nothing special and quite opposite of good. So what if it is vegan? The salad was just a regular salad, just without any protein in it. Cauliflower was plain cauliflower, and it was actually over the top salty. I'm not sure what happened to pasta carbonara, it was the saddest classical Italian dish I have ever eaten. Sausage and peppers were the same - pretty basic. The only dish that I enjoyed was broccoli soup, but cream was substituted for cashew, which was an unnecessary portion of protein for me.
Another big bummer: tiny portions and huge prices.
So, why do people come here?

This will definitely be a staple date night or brunch date.

Not all it is hyped up to be. Don't get me wrong, we had a great meal and staff was friendly and all. But they were not very attentive, nor would I go out of my way to get a table here again.

vegan food, so great. Service is awesome even when they are busy. Had a friend come into town and asked me to take him here again. It has an awesome atmosphere. Feeling here is similar to a place in Columbus I liked.

Excellent vegan food!! Great atmosphere, great service, but most of all, absolutely outstanding food. Vegans can bring dedicated carnivores here to experience very good to everybody cuisine. Top 10 vegan place I've been to in the nation.

Impossible Burger is the best thing on this menu. Love it !

The food and atmosphere were fantastic! We had the impossible burger and the chicken and waffles. I wish we would have stayed in L.A. longer so we could have went back and tried everything on the menu.
