Great Waitress but the food wasn't as good as it once was.
Great Waitress but the food wasn't as good as it once was.
Decent deli foods, great if you're in need of a restaurant over Passover. Not strictly kosher though. Service is hit or miss.
One can always count on the high quality of the food here.
What a neat place. Every meal we had was flavorful and well put together. Best Rachel sandwich I've had in a very long time. Chicken fingers for the kids were real, broasted chicken and very tasty. We topped off the night by grabbing some treats from the deli and some amazing homemade raspberry jam.
We had a great experience and will visit again.
I have been coming to this restaurant for years for a reason. Excellent food, great service staff, and delicious take-home foods available. I will definitely be back!
Are U looking for old school food? If so this is the place. If you are hankering for the old North side this is where you'll find it.
Excellent Sunday brunch buffet, great variety, quality food.
yummy food, take out available and continues to be great
We haven't been here in a very long time. It was great to be back and have a Kevin's Combo.
Crossroads one of the best neighborhood restaurants around! Everything is delicious and the staff is very friendly. Can get busy at on weekends, but it's worth it.
Not cheap but abundant meats on sandwiches, very good! Too bad I discovered it late, I'm moving in a month!!
Awesome Pastrami and Corn Beef sandwiches (especially the Rueben). The pickled beets are heavenly. The Motzaball soup and Borsch are some of the best in the Twin Cities. Everything here tastes amazing!
Friendly service and always excellent food. Their bread alone is worth going there for!!!
The cabbage borscht is excellent along the coconut macaroons.
Best key lime pie in the metro! Fabulous bakery and goid menu.
Great food. Bit on the pricey side. The corned beef is amazing.
Amazing service and delicious food. The bakery had super good caraway rye bread. Definitely will be back
Absolutely amazing, our first visit and we found our new favorite! Food was fabulous and service was great! Can't wait to come back and try a new selection, everything sounded and looked amazing!
My loaf of pumpernickel bread was so fresh,Thank You so much.
Worst customer service. Got sat, and it took 10 min and no one came to my table. Watched several employees look my way, several more walk by. Not one asked if I had been helped. I had to go to what looked like the manager and ask if I could get a server. She didn t apologize nor did my server. Food was average at best, but with that horrible customer service I won t be coming back.
We only had carrot cake, but it was delicious! Lovely spices, fantastic cream cheese icing!
Good atmosphere, friendly staff and very attentive. Food is amazing.
Fantastic Delicatessen, there is a market to purchase bakery items and the caliber of food was exception. Friendly staff and very comfortable environment.
Frist gime in shop such great people and amazing food meet the owner such a nice guy even give me a little treat and a story of how to came about. Great food prices and will have food for days. Will be coming soon
Stopped in on a trip to the Tein Cites.
Excellent food at a fair price. Good bread and pickles to start.
Had the matzo ball soup. Delicious. Also had pastrami and cole slaw. Very good. Would definitely go back. Would have tried dessert but was too full 2hich I rare for me.
Delicious food, good sized portions, fair price, nice bakery
Weekday lunch is the reason to come here. They cut beef and turkey and it's phenomenal!
We love the delicious foods available for Sunday brunch. It s reasonable in price, and fantastic in taste and service.
This is a no go. They close if they want and put a handwritten sign on the door. Very unprofessional.
Minnetonka Hopkins area restaurant. Gets high grades on the school figures basics of a Deli restaurant - corned beef excellent, matzo ball soup very good, Ruben excellent, cheese cake excellent. Attached Deli well stocked. Service attentive and food out fast. Attended by a loyal crowd some I know as picky, opinionated and have food tolerance that is fragile - they always come back....Very telling.
Great food, Friendly Staff one of my local favorites of Minnesota
I liked the food, but $13-$18 dollars for a sandwich with potato chips and they want extra for fries, coleslaw, etc.
Maybe 4 stars, but the service was horrible. We got there at 1:00 pm and only a few people left in the restaurant after lunch. Waited to be seated, waited to order and when we were finished the server was gone.
Ribs I had were a little dry. The other diner with me had similar issues with their meal.
Best part was the appetizers, the Sweet Potato Fries.
This place is AMAZING! OMG, where do I start? I went in for Sunday brunch, buffet style. First of all, we got in super quick, there was no waiting like most other brunch places around the city. They greet you warmly and make you feel like home. The servers take their time with you. They explained how everything is made from scratch by their cooks. I tried almost everything they had and WOW! The food is very very tasty, my favorites were the cheesy hash-browns, the sausage, the waffles and their cinnamon french toasts! I am glad I discovered this place. Check them out, you won't be disappointed. I will be going back for sure.
Great food, similar style to east coast deli (a very good thing). Sunday buffet is monstrous. Service is just about the friendliest I've ever had. Cathy is a mench of the highest order.
Awful service. The person ahead of me was stellar to that person. But it took a long time to even get the next attendant so I could order mine. Then when I asked a question about the menu she sarcastically sniped and laughed at me and said " never been here before ?" I said "not for a long time". And I promise I will not be going back there again.
Also the corned beef is very fatty.
Good Jewish food almost as good as the old Lincoln deli was.
Expensive, but the food is exactly what I was looking for in a deli.
Amazing comfort food. The friendly, homey feeling is fully complimented by the personable servers and ample basket of fresh bread and pickles. Try the pickled beets!
We ordered take-out from crossroads and had an excellent experience. Food was ready on time, service was kind, and it was delicious. For those that are trying to support out local establishments, I'd highly recommend a visit to crossroads!
We arrived later in the evening, round 6:30 or 7, ordered the broasted chicken, 2 piece, it came out very fast, but the chicken was horrible, it had obviously been sittin under a warmer for a while, cuz it was dry and over cooked!!! I couldn't have been more disappointed, because I love broasted chicken, and was finally gonna get some, ugh!!
We bought some pastrami and some cookies, they were both very good. Work on the chicken!!!
This place is great. Tons of food, and all of it is really good! The borscht, sandwiches, ribs, chicken, dessert...all fantastic. You can even take a lot of it home from the deli section!
Wonderful service. Amazing soup and sandwiches. It's really a cute place.
This was my first time here. Went for dinner on a Friday with a group of eight. They take reservations. Everyone enjoyed the pickled beets. I had the Beef Shotribs which where excellent. The only problem is if you order a cocktail, it took over 30 minutes at our table. This I found out is dependent on the deli counter, which is where the drinks are made. If they are busy you wait.
For lunch you can't beat the Beef on Weck, but their other menu options are also excellent. Matzo ball soup features a huge matzo ball, but the really best option is Sunday brunch. The cost is low and the selection is great. The breakfast buffet features some hot sticky buns that will fill you right up.
Really good service and the fries here are so good. Some of their great sandwiches were gone because of the price of beef going so high. However, they still have a great menu with lots of options. Still highly recommend this deli.
Deli is as deli does. And they do. From the beets in the case to Matzo Ball Soup in the restaurant, it's all awesome.
Busy place, but we waited only a short time for a table. The food is EXCELLENT. Best Hungarian goulash I've ever enjoyed.
This place does a great job. Lunch special Angus beef weck was awesome. Have to get the pickled beets!
Very nice, not expensive, but not cheap. High quality food. Not fast, as food is cooked to order.
Best BBQ smokey ribs!...and the Lemon coconut cake was to DIE for.
And our waitress was top notch!
Thank you!
Excellent food good prices family atmosphere. After your meal you can go into there gift shop and bye pies cakes and other things well worth the trip.
I went with my sister on a Sunday and was surprised by the brunch buffet. Their cheesy hash browns get catered to her work and she wouldn't stop raving about them! It was really good, and so much variety and didn't cost a ton! The wings were my favorite. Wings on a brunch buffet, whaaat?
New York style deli food in a seated, warm atmosphere. Attached bakery and deli counter.
They could use some deli help from all those wandering around & doing nothing. Lady needed to order to go dinner, person at hostess booth made her go to deli to order. I suggested she call in her order as phone calls seemed to take priority. Doubt the deli person knew she was talking to the lady in line. Bet she got out of there quicker than most... sharpen up Crossroads...get to work!
Enjoy the beef on weck Monday thru Friday at lunch. It's a treat!
A place with character....look for the hidden squirrel.
Deli to-go pastries And breads are good, restaurant food and service are both mediocre.
I eat lunch there every Friday, either the Strawberry salad or Lotsa Lox. I always enjoy these and good value
I love the unique food options and they are all delicious.
Excellent service, delicious food, environment conducive to conversation
Caraway rye loaf is just like NY loaf! Good borscht. Excellent Matzo Ball Soup. Very attentive wait staff. Corned beef on rye ALMOST as good as Katz s Deli in NYC.
Matzo ball soup was alright. Not as tasteful.
Service was really good.
Love the food here!!! Deli and bakery are awesome, and the restaurant is beautifully decorated! Very nice, accommodating owners and staff!! If, like me, you miss the old Lincoln Del, you will LOVE Crossroads Delicatessen nothing comes close!!!
Super slow service, but good food piping hot. A little on the pricey side. $37 for our couple with sandwiches and a pop.
Always wanted to try "beef on weck" and was not disappointed. Not sure if it was the best since this was the first but wicked good. Want to try the pastrami next.
