I performed a great deal of research before determining that Crestwood was the best option for my mother. What most struck me was the level of staff quality, followed by the overall quality of their facilities and the options for a healthy social life these make possible. Under the difficult pandemic conditions Crestwood continues to provide excellent care for the residents and maintain their safety. I have the same peace of mind knowing my mother is there as I would if my family were taking care of her - more so, in fact since they have excellent health care options that are directly on premise. I recommend Crestwood highly.

Regarding health care, if you wish that your loved one is yelled at and verbally abused by the nursing supervisor, this is the place to go. staff is so forgetful when it comes to realizing many of the residents have memory issues, so some staff resorts to yelling at the residents as a way to get their short term memory to work better. I came in to visit my mom on multiple occasions and found the tray of food and thinkened fluids thrown in the garbage.
My mom was sent to the hospital quite often for dehydration and kidney malfunction because she was not given fluids. It was too inconvenient for the staff to go in my moms room and assist her with drinking fluids. My was a full assist.
My mom was rarely repositioned, possibly once or twice during the six or seven hour visit with mom. My mom laid in bed constantly, so became contracted from lack of movement.
When the administrator of healthcare decided I was not allowed to visit my mom in her room, because I would witness all the issues, probably due to lack of staff. The administrator insisted that I visit with my mom in a public area. While visiting with family, my mom would sit in her wet diaper in the geri chair for hours, while her skin burned, because it was too inconvenient for staff to remove my mom from the geri chair and change her diaper. My mom was a complete assist to the bathroom.
Oh yes, may I mention this again, I, my moms youngest child and a registered nurse and my moms youngest grandchild was restricted from visiting my mom in her room unless specifically supervised by administration. I was forced to sign a piece of paper taking away my right to visit with my mom so I may not fully witness the inconsistent care given to my mom. Very stressful for family.
My mom did die, could it have been from lack of care or lack of food and fluids. Maybe so. Think twice

I would not waste a minute speaking to Ann Hay. I attempted to have a conversation with her while my mother was alive and she was just a pompous, self-righteous, egotistical, Smug and arrogant individual. Definitely was not open to constructive criticism and there was plenty of room for improvement regarding that nursing home.
The administrators did not want to hear it. they were in denial. Nursing staff would complain to me regarding the shortage of nursing staff at the facility.
Their bottom line became my mother's neglect. My mothers dead thanks to the lack of care from a 5 star facility.

The staff especially the manager and her assistant are excellent and so kind to the residents. The food is the best - the kitchen staff works at making everything the resident requests. The housekeeping and porters are excellent they do as requested and in many cases do that extra plus

The Holidays are always so festive and fun here at Crestwood Manor. You have to see it to believe it. This is my 15th year working for this Crestwood Manor and can I truly say the Christmas Spirit is alive and well and not only at Christmas but all year long!

My mother has been a resident since August 2016 and I have found the staff to be extremely helpful and friendly. The staff really nursed her back to good health, she was very frail and ill when she arrived. Nursing staff is exceptional. Everyone always has a smile on their face and it is a very "happy" facility to visit. They have many activities for the residents to participate in every day and if you are not happy with your meal, you can request something else......its never a problem. If a issue does arise, it is handled professionally and quickly and in the best interest of the resident. My mother is always neat and clean and I can honestly say I feel confident with the care she is receiving. Thank you to the entire staff!!! It means so much!!!!

My parents moved into the Crestwood facility in June of 2015. After some initial hesitation (they had lived in their previous home for 40 years) they quickly became acclimated to their new home. My parents wanted to remain in NJ where they had lived their entire lives. We knew Crestwood Village was an excellent option as we had other relatives in the facility in the past. However, for me, living 350 miles away, the move was extra challenging. The staff at Crestwood made the transition as easy as possible from helping with the move in arrangements, to explaining the various plans and options available. We were even able to pick out our counter and tile colors truly making the apartment our own. After working with the staff on the apartment I almost wanted to move in myself (maybe in 30 years!). Whenever I come to visit I am always greeted by helpful and friendly staff and we are sure to dine and even stay in a vacant room at Crestwood so that we can be close to my parents when our extended family comes down to visit.

My uncle was here for hospice care and I can't give enough praise to the staff who work here. Kelly, Jackie, Karen, Judy, Kelly, Allison & Mary. They not only were concerned for my uncle and his needs, but the needs of his wife as well. I saw how well they interacted with the other residents there too. I highly recommend this place. It was very clean & always smelled fresh. They were cleaning daily.

Shortly after we moved into Crestwood Manor 10 years ago, my husband had a medical emergency and spent some time in the hospital. One night after visiting him, I decided to go to an Ice Cream Social being held in the Forum. I had difficulty getting from one side of the room to the other to get my ice cream because so many people were stopping me to ask how my husband was doing. What a warm welcome from people we hardly knew! And the friendliness and caring doesn't stop with the residents. I frequently walk through the hallways in each wing for exercise, especially in the heat of summer and the bitter cold of winter. One day a porter stopped me to ask if I was all right because he hadn't seen me walking for a few days (I had been walking outside). This wasn't part of his job description. He, like all of the employees, really cares about the residents. Moving here was a gift we gave to our children, but I can't think of a better place to live.

After viewing several similar communities, my husband and I decided to apply to Crestwood Manor. The decision to relocate is a difficult one since it will probably affect the rest of one's life. A lot of such decisions are based on "gut feelings"as well as facts.

Our "gut feelings" about Crestwood Manor was seeing its well groomed grounds, its low, two story buildings nestled nicely between green acres. It had a tranquility about it which appealed to us. Upon entering the main building, we were greeted by a genuinely friendly and helpful receptionist who immediately put us in touch with a bright, helpful and empathetic sales rep. We toured the facility on several occasions, bringing family and asking a lot of questions. Each was respectfully answered, as we settled on moving to Crestwood Manor. The financial arrangements were tailor made to our circumstances and we were offered several choices of apartments whose monthly fee we could afford.

Our year and a half at Crestwood Manor has been a happy one for us. We feel that we are a part of the community. The administration responds to us when needed. The whole manor is filled with genuinely nice, helpful and competent employees. We live a relaxed life knowing that if we need help, on any level, it will be there in minutes. Meeting other members of
"The Great Generation" has been so interesting. We were not a bunch of sissies. We did things with our lives. We brought certain talents and interests with us and at Crestwood Manor, we were happy to find out that they are open to allowing us to continue these pursuits, offering them to anyone who might also be interested. Karen has, from the first weeks of her residency, offered her chair yoga class, and I started a poetry reading club. It's no wonder that nearly everyone living at Crestwood Manor is content. There are many varieties of activities offered including trips to museums, restaurants and theater.

Families feel reassured that we will be taken care of for the rest of our lives, since the Springpoint Foundation promises support if our finances run out. We will never be homeless, no matter what!!!

I have been employed at Crestwood Manor for 20 years. My position of Transportation Coordinator has given me a great opportunity to interact with our residents both in house and on our trips. Our residents are proud of there home at Crestwood and have nothing but praise for our caring staff. My experience goes a little further as my wife was recently a patient in the Health Care Center. We have nothing but praise for the staff. They are caring, attentive to every need. My wife received excellent care. One staff member to this day always asks about my wife and always says tell her hello. I feel being a part of Crestwood is like having a large extended family, a family I am proud to be part of.

Crestwood Manor is my Happy-Safe place. Happy because other residents and staff are so friendly and I have a choice of activities to do. Safe because whatever my need someone is nearby to help. I am not isolated from my family, my daughter stays over night once in a while and my son and daughter come and spend an evening with me. My cousin comes from California once a year and stays in one of the guest apartments, really enjoys breakfast in the Cafe. My two and half years here have been everything I hoped for.

My husband and I have lived at Crestwood Manor for 3 years and couldn't be happier. When we first came for a marketing visit in 2014, it reminded us of being on a cruise. We looked at a total of 13 similar communities in central Jersey, narrowed them down to our top 3 choices, and Crestwood won out. At this stage of life, I don't know of any better way to live, or any better place to be.

I can't say enough about the exceptional care my Dad received as a recent patient in the Crestwood Manor Health Care Center. The staff was very professional and consistently attentive to his needs, and provided his care with respect and dignity. The facility is very clean and well maintained. The atmosphere warm and friendly.

I ve lived at Crestwood Manor for 2 years and am very happy here. The staff is competent and friendly. The residents are generally friendly. There are many activities available to residents, but everyone is free to participate or not. There is no pressure from the staff to participate. Physical therapy and medical services are available at Crestwood Manor. Some physical therapy can be done in the apartment. The building and grounds are very attractive and very well maintained. There is open seating in the dining room and cafe.
