My favorite Georgia brewery. A little on the expensive side compared to the Atlanta area breweries, but that's gonna be the trend until the state shapes up and fixes the law.

Don't leave without getting some Tropicalia. Any of their seasonals or specials will go fast so don't pass them up!

Creature is one of the staples of Athens. Their beer and staff are second to none. They have also done a fantastic job this year with all the COVID precautions. When we have someone visiting us I can't recommend this place high enough. Y'all are incredible and please stay comfortable with everything you do

What a great brewery. Plenty of open space. Very enjoyable and relaxing.

Visiting Athens for a family event and took some idle time to discover a local brewery a few blocks from the hotel. Great re-use of a tire warehouse. 1st Class IPAs!!

Loved the Koko Bunni they have. Huge fan of coffee/porter beer and if and the Koko Bunni they have is delicious! Staff is super friendly and environment was super chill.

Awesome place to hangout with friends,a and have some great beers. The parking lot across the street is like $5 for 24 hours, so it's great if you want to park, drink, and walk around downtown, or uber to Terrapin after you run out of beer credits. Best part of Athens!

Great selection of beers in a very cool space. Place opened at 3PM on Friday and was packed by 3:30. You can get cans and bottles to go as well. Single bottle prices were steep IMO. The Cosmik Debris double IPA was fantastic. The stout Awaken my love was very good as well. Lots of low ABV beers probably to cater to the large majority of ladies that were there. I will visit again. Lots of food options nearby as well.

Kid and dog friendly, farmers markets during the week, great renovation, and outstanding beer.

Would not return. Need more shade in the outside areas. Patrons could not enter the building, however two tables were filled with founder and his friends.

I get it, it's his business but not a good look as most would not ask who the folks were inside.

I've never been to this place but I Saw on the news where they were making sanitizer in bottles and also they donated bottles of sanitizer to people. They said it sells for around 8.49 a bottle. I think the young man who is the CEO is doing an awesome thing. Thanks to him and his employees for doing such a great thing. God Bless you all... Stay safe!!

Great environment and in the middle of downtown. Beers are catered towards IPA lovers, if that's your thing. Kids friendly. Pets are welcome but will have to hang out in their outside area. All around a great place to meet up with friends and enjoy a beer.

Best place for a brewski in the Athens area. Good rotating selection of craft beers, pleasant atmosphere, and friendly staff. Very COVID responsible with outdoor seating and mask requirements

Great place with both indoor and outdoor seating. In addition to the beer selection, there is is "mixed beer drinks" such as Athens mimosa with beer and fresh grapefruit juice. Would definitely go back.

This is a great place to hang out with friends or meet new people. They have a great selection of beers that are quite unique. If you like beer or just cool hang out places you should check it out.

These guys are pushing the limits of incredible artisinal brews. If you want delicious beer, get it here.

They don't even let you sample beer. They suggest a 2 dollar "5oz" as a sample or a flight. That immediately killed my opinion about this place. Their beer isn't anything special except tropicalia, you can get it at any brewery. The only reason it isn't one star is because their atmosphere is decent (which is important for a brewery) and tropicalia is great. Expect a younger, "fratty" college vibe.

My brother in law came all the way here from Finland. Not only did he love the beer but also the tour. Props to the girl who was giving us that tour, she was absolutly amazing. Thank you guys for making his brief stay here memorable!

We drive a fairly long distance to visit this brewery often. It is exemplary. The location downtown, the ridiculously good selection of amazing beers, the open air taproom and fabulous outdoor area. Everyone is friendly and knowledgeable.

The only thing the new laws brought us was the opportunity for brewerys to charge more and Creature took full advantage. Hope you loose enough business to get better management in place. If I come to the source and pay more per beer than other places selling the same.... transportation costs... sad

Love the outdoor seating. Tables are managed efficiently and safely for staff and customers. Masks required when you get up from your table. Glad to know it's still possible to be curious!

Create comforts will always be one of my favorite places in Athens. It never disappoints even if it has gotten a little more popular than I'd like.

I had a great time here! I'm from Portland, OR and was in GA on business. Stopped by here after work. For those unfamiliar with (current) GA law: breweries cannot sell directly to the public so instead they offer a glass for sale (with Creature Comforts' logo, really cool) and a wrist band giving you access to 6 samples and a coupon off food at local restaurants.

They have a good selection of craft beer here. Is it huge? No. Is it comparable to what you'd find at a restaurant? No. This is direct from the brewery so they happened to have 5 beers on tap. No big deal as those were 5 fairly different beers. One was a pilsner, there was an American IPA, a "slightly" sour beer, and a few others. My favorite was actually their seasonal one, called TCM I believe?

In any case, I was able to try each once and the sour one twice (I'm not usually a huge fan of sours but this was a good one).

I recommend this place to anyone visiting Athens or who lives local and wants to check out how beer is made (check their website for tour dates/times).

Outside of Tropicalia, there was nothing here that you won't find in 1000 other craft breweries. The location is also your standard craft brewery. It's fine just don't go out of your way to go. I also don't appreciate the sampler having beer specific prices (ie each sample I chose has a potentially different price, the whole sampler wasn't simply $12 or whatever). As a first timer it makes me feel you are being cheap and I cannot recall any other brewery I've been to pricing a sampler this way.

Old setup was great, new set up is boring. Beers are slowly losing quality.

Interior is well designed, open, and friendly. Regular brews on tap are truly unique; must try the Tropicalia and Athena, my two favorites.

Three stars for pretty good beer and the location, but the long lines are just plain bad/unacceptable.

They have a great collection of brews and the location is ideal. Their outside seating has a great ambience and it is a welcoming place. The staff is very friendly.

They have their to-go drive through service streamlined quickly for getting brews during the pandemic. You never have to touch anyone or anything! Excellent menu choices too!

Nice place but damn the lines are too long. They need to have some set up to manage the wait times. Also why are beers at the brewery the same price as at the bar? The middle man is cut out, cut the costs some.

Sellouts. This brewery isn't for the fans of the beer anymore but the profits of the owners. $6 for a standard pour of beer at your own brewery? Kinda stupid

Got my hands on the brand new Cosmik Debris!!! 8% DIPA best in it's class! I love this brewery!

Great beer, friendly staff. Fun place on a hot day. The beer choices are excellent. Do a tasting. They should add food.

Loved this brewery! They have very friendly bartenders, staff, and quick service. Their selection of beer can be purchased in cans to go, a flight to taste, individual pints, and growlers as well. Love the variety of beers from their IPAs, to ales, to goses, lagers, and more. One of my favorites was the Tropicalia and the Tritonia which has both cucumber and lime notes. They also have tons of tabs and space like a beer hall. Handicap entrances, restrooms, and parking is also available. They also have a merchandise shop with shirts, hats, accessories, and beer coolers.

One of the best breweries in the country. Everything they brew right now is gold. Friendly staff and great location.

Award-winning staples, and they always seem to be rotating something new and crazy through the lineup, too!

Love this place! They have great beer and location. It does tend to get overcrowded at certain times or events, but when they open the second location, it will help. If you are traveling up to Athens, this is a definite "must-do" item on your list!

Probably the best brewery in Georgia. Excellent beers and they have the brewery experience perfected with the limitations that GA imposes on breweries. The space is pretty awesome too.

They went above and beyond in every sense of the word. They have the best beer in town, but they're so much more than that; they have the best people in town.

Yes, their beer is good. But I've been to hundreds of breweries in my life, and this is the first one I've ever been to that refuses to allow customers to sample a beer before buying. I got up and walked out and will not be back.

Excellent stop in the Athens area, great vibe and atmosphere at this brewery. Beer is excellent and covers a lot of ground as far as styles (almost guaranteed you'll find one you like). Large indoor area, brewery tours regularly throughout the day and large outdoor area with lawn games, fire pits and plenty of seating. Staff is great here, willing to share their knowledge of the company and its craft. If you're in Athens and a beer fan (or even if you're not) it is most definitely worth the stop.

We've been trying to get here for a very long time, but unfortunately circumstanced didn't allow us to try more than just a flight. Although we enjoyed what we had and took a couple of others home to share. I think we hit it on a good day. It was beautiful out and not too crowded.

Beer is great but it is getting too big for its own good. Always too crowded.

What a great local place to have! Craft breweries are a dime a dozen these days, but I can honestly say that this one is worth your time. Staff is very friendly, and it's a great hang out spot in town. (Also, the bathrooms are nice and clean.) Our favorite beer is probably their milk stout.

Cool brewery, spacious with indoor and outdoor seatings, great for after work hangout...live band playing sometimes. Tropicalia IPA became my favorite IPA after the visit.

This a 5 star micro brew operation. The beers are super tasty. Get comfortable is my favorite.

Nice brewery, but did not find a good beer in the eighth I tasted.
