The Mother's Day brunch was amazing!!! So much good food, including their sushi. Service was friendly and excellent.
We reserved a table for 6 on February the 15th. We arrived early and they seated us right away, even though we had arrived 20 minutes early. We had a great seating location. We odered drinks, appetizers and main courses. Food was wonderful and our experience was excellent. We are planning to go back very soon.
Arrived at 3pm on Monday for happy hour. The waitress informed us the only things on happy hour were the $5 dishes. She wasn't too sure about it but I wasn't going to fight. It clearly states that everything on the happy hour menu was on happy hour, as dumb as that sounds but she didn't understand this. -_-
I've been going to CRAVE in the Edina Galleria ever since it opened. We are always amazed at the high quality food, great service and amazing ambiance. The menu frequently changes. The best seats for large groups are a booth table underneath the interesting light fixture. It's a large net full of colorful glass balls. Another great area to sit by is the fireplace. The enclosed patio is a wonderful spot for a daytime or summertime meal. The sushi is genuine and handmade to order.
The food was amazing, the waitress was JP and she was great she knew the menu well and answered all our questions. The restaurant was very clean, The manager came and asked if everything was ok. This place has a great warm atmosphere.
Our group of 8 was seated promptly then ignored by our waitress. Food was great but service was slow at a non peak time. Our waitress was extremely impersonal and forgetful.
watch your bill. they don't tell you they add a per person charge for employee benefits. Talk about sneaky.
Overpriced! Poor waiter tonight just going thru the motions. Shrimp dish was overpriced at $23 for 4 shrimp and a bunch of rice. Our Jameson mule had a fly in it, took it back, and they still charged us $11.50 for the replacement that was brought out. I will not be going back to Crave.
Low quality happy hour food, relaxed staff. Visited this location for happy hour and wish we ordered off the main dinner menu. Definitely overpriced for the low quality nachos and low quantity sushi (6 pieces of nigiri for $18!). The Crave catering experience is vastly superior to the in restaurant dining experience IMO.
Ambience is good. Ordered vegetarian sushi and fried rice. The fried rice isn't upto the mark.
Bamboo bite sushi, firecracker shrimp. I always want to go back. Host and waiters are really nice!
ate here yesterday and was surprised at how well everything was. I only gave 4 stars because service was slower than it should of been but still food was great!
Not the best sushi I've ever had, but really great plating. Happy hour is a must for great drinks and good food.
I ordered a bison burger via Uber Eats and the restaurant did not put the burger in the sandwich. After about one hour I may have been refunded the burger. This is the most stupid thing ever from an order. The manager did not seem to understand or care. Meat must be too expensive..
Food as always was excellent. Love the menu. I only wish that CRAVE would let you know and acknowledge their specials such as kids eat free on Sunday. I should not have to look at my tab and ask to have the special and have a manager take it off. My third consecutive Sunday I have had to ask to have my kids food taken of the tab. I always tip the server off the full amount but it sure would be refreshing if they did not bring me a tab that I had to ask be amended.
You can never go wrong with Crave!
You must order the the Chicken & Avocado Eggrolls they're really good. (They were all out )
The Mussels & Fries, Crab & Artichoke dip was really good. They are great starters.
The Godzilla Roll was really good.
I also had the Argentine ribeye it was very good!
The waiters were nice and friendly.
Great food but very slow service. I would try it again, because this was during the holidays.
Have eaten there a few times and each time I have gone the staff seems to be less and less on point. I m not overly picky and don t expect a lot. Keep my drink full and make sure there s no onions in my food( despise them!!) and check back in a few minutes to see if everything is tasting great. I ordered the nachos which came with pico (loaded with onions) a little attention to detail would have gone a long way. After sitting for nearly ten minutes ( after my food came 5 minutes later than everyone else at my table) I got up to go find my server. She was leaning against a counter chatting with another server. I handed her my food saying that I had ordered no onions and she looked at me confused. I told her that pico is loaded with onion and I can t eat the nachos. By the time I got my new ones everyone else was finished. Had to power eat them so everyone didn t have to wait. She even had a different server drop the check and never came back for refills. Not a manager to be found either. Used to love this place, but if this is their trend then I won t be returning to at least this location at the very least.
The service is always so good -- the cherry on the cake of good food and great cocktails.
I really appreciate the traditional Polk dish, and the salmon on top of quinoa dish! Suited my love for variety very nicely. And the price is not bad. (I prefer thier "lunch" menu over their after 4 menu.
Good food, but can be pricey (this is Edina at the Galleria). Good with kids or a date, and across the hall from Creative Kids tuff. Good sushi entrees.
Best brunch drink menu!!! The food was good too and the vibe is cool. Waitstaff was really pleasant and personable.
We used the Crave location in Edina to cater our company holiday lunch party and it was nothing short of perfect! There are 15 employees and everyone said that this is the best catered lunch we've ever had. Steak medallions were cooked perfectly, a chicken mushroom pasta dish was very tasty, and the salads/side dishes were awesome. The total price was right in line with other companies we've ordered from before but Crave's quality and overall product was 10 times better.
I got a bowl of poke (it's a type of sushi) and my mom got a burger nad we both LOVED our food! It was amazing! & They have great service.
Always have terrific service at the bar/happy hour area.
Exceptional and delightful food, I love the atmosphere this place has, and the cashiers were very kind. I will surely visit here next time.
The cheeseburger was awesome and the wait service was very attentive. 5 stars!
My family of six adults wanted to have a nice dinner together so we decided on Crave because they have gluten free and vegetarian options. Reservations were easy to make online and table was ready when we arrived. That earned the two stars. Our waitress was polite, but unfriendly and disinterested. We asked for straws for our waters, she never brought them, asked for lemon for the waters, those never arrived either. We inquired about whether or not a side item was gluten free, she said she would find out and let us know. Yes you guessed it, we didn't get an answer. Someone else brought out 4 1/2 meals and asked my daughter, without her food, if she had ordered anything. What?? She said yes, so that person left to retrieve it. I said 4 1/2 because they also forgot half of one of the orders. The waitress came back right after and asked if everything was alright. She obviously wasn't paying attention. Anyhow, the rest of the food arrived. I ordered the beef medallions. They and the tiny carrots were lukewarm and the potatoes were cold...and I mean so cold they were hard. The waitress finally brought some hot potatoes which were tasty. Definitely not worth the price. Overall, it was an average experience. Nothing noteworthy or interesting that made me want to return, and certainly not deserving of the $200 we spent there. The food was mediocre and the service was indifferent. Save your money and go to Big Bowl at the other end of the Galleria.
Great food and place to get drinks for happy hour or dinner. I always seem to try a new dish and love their salads. Good service and reasonable prices for what you order.
The food at Crave has improved in the last few years. Our experience was solid. But we did get a fairly soggy batch of French fries. But they still get full stars because the fixed the issue will no hassel. One other thing that I do take a star off for is I over heard a cook berating that a person was being slow. Praise in public and criticism are done in private.
I only eat sushi here. I've tried other menu items..average. The staff is always friendly and spot on re: sushi recommendation.
Flies everywhere, cooks VISIBLY eating, chewing over food while preparing. Great service 1st 2 times, 3&4th time- just okay to not good at all. Felt uncomfortable as if me asking what kind of leaf was served in salad was an issue (I prefer darker greens, more nutrients). Waitress demeanor was so rude, I left.
I'd called ahead for a party of 8 to celebrate a birthday for a minor. We were initially shown to a table in the bar, in the corner, by the service station. It was not remotely busy in the dining rooms. I asked for a new table, and though several lovely banquette tables were open, they pushed three tables together in the middle of a very loud outdoor area. Fine. We were finally seated. We then waited over 20 minutes for drinks. Again, not busy. The food came late, some incorrectly, and we were rarely checked on. Our server did bring a birthday treat with a lovely shower sparkling candle, hence three stars as opposed to two. Deeply disappointing as we go to Crave for special occasions and use them to cater events as well, we will likely look elsewhere in the future.
Great menu, excellent service, high quality food - this list of positives is extensive. The negatives - can't think of one.
Good location in The Galleria. Dine there often.
Nothing to Crave about this place, serving cold marinara sauce and peices of inedible wood or sprigs in the food almost broke a tooth. Stay away overpriced poorly run, very week management, made me pay for food I didn't eat after I found bits of wood in my pasta. What a rip off, would not recommend. Surprised they are still in business.
Overall it was a good experience. The service was attentive and the food came out promptly and accurately. I personally didn't care for the citrus vinaigrette on my salad. However everything else I tasted was delicious. It was also surprisingly child friendly.
During COVID we have been able to order a couple time through Crave, but this last time half the order was missed. Called the location. No consideration other than saying sorry. No help to get the rest of my order. Terrible customer service. Still no sign of my credit, either. Will not be ordering from them again.
When New York banks are closed (bank holidays), there is no Happy Hour.
Food was nothing special for the price, service was pretty good.
There is a variety of food sure to please everyone's "Crave"ings!
Great food, very friendly staff, constantly awesome character. They charge affordable prices and the food quality is awesome. Great work.
Absolutely amazing menu with vegan friendly options. The staff was quick, kind, and extremely helpful. I can't wait to go back to try new dishes!
The overall experience was good. I felt the quantity was too little for the price.
It is a very nice restaurant. Food was great. Service was speedy. We will go back again.
First time here, Gabriel was our bartender and he was great! Food was awesome!
Great place to take mom and family for Sunday night dinner. Must have coconut cake for desert
I will NEVER eat at another Crave location ever again. This restaurant clearly has a theft problem internally. I did some shopping and had left my shopping bag at the restaurant. I immediately called the restaurant when I got home realizing I had forgot it. I live over an hour away from this location. I was expecting to hear that the bag was not there, I thought for sure someone had probably taken it. The employee said she had found it and had it in hand and told me exactly what was in the bag and I said it was mine. I was so relieved, as it was around $250 worth of merchandise. She said she would put it in their lost and found and I could pick it up that week. My daughter went to pick it up for me a couple days later and they said it was no where to be found. I called the restaurant several times for a week wanting to know what they would be doing about this. The general manager, Rebecca took a week to get back to me. She said there is nothing they could do but could offer me some gift cards to Crave. I had no intention of getting anything FREE out of this and declined, I just wanted my merchandise. It is very clear that they have an employee who is a thief.
We were planning on using Crave Catering for my youngest daughters graduation in June and my other daughters Wedding. I will be taking my business elsewhere for these big events. You just lost some serious business over $250 that you can not reimburse me for.
Worst customer service experience I have ever had. Please don't support this restaurant.
Large menu. Food ok - but not extraordinary. A bit pricy for the quality. I expected more for a Galleria restaurant. Been there 3 times so far and pretty consistent - disappoint each time.
Sushi was not at all good. Soups were good.
The last time the table we were seated at was so narrow that 4 tall people had to bang knees all night. Why they seated us there I don t know. It s not as though we were masquerading as midgets. Don t know why I left a tip now that I think of it. Sorry I had to leave such a sad review - but just being honest.
I don t think I ll be returning - if my vote means anything.
Visited shortly after open, so it was fairly unpopulated. Sat at bar and service was good, despite other reviews.
Purchased the bento box and it was exemplary. Tempura was great sushi was great, and even the fruit had a fresh texture. Highly recommended.
I find myself coming here for the Mexican roll...Never disappointed. The best.
God awful once again it's been awhile since I've been there I thought I'd give it another try sat waiting for a server for over 10 minutes got up and left
I do like the menu depth and the environment but Crave really needs to revisit the sushi menu. The rolls are uninspired and often poorly constructed. Also none of the rolls are inside out, which is odd. Crave, go eat sushi at Kona a few times for inspiration.
It s Ok. My friend and I had the chicken wings & Cheesecake. Both items were decent but it also didn t blow us away. The atmosphere is nice and the restaurant well decorated & designed. Sushi & Glueton Free seem to be their specialty so if you re in the mood for those, this is your place. I d definitely return and give Crave another chance.
shrug... not sure if this was good at one point and time, the ingredients look as though they could be good... but they weren't.
Crave in Galleria offer a nice setting the food is good and service is ok
The chicken mushroom and rib eye steak are very tasty
The menu is.extensive. the restaurant on peek hours can be loud so if you there for business meeting at certain times you can.find that as inconvenient.
The prices are a little bit high but is worth it according to the area.
Overall this restaurant is between 3 and 4 stars but more close to 4 since the restaurant is well designed
One of my favorite restaurants in the Twin Cities. Fresh food, sushi, liquors all available. Seasonal menu. Always a good meal in a classy place.
I expected a great meal based on their reputation, but was really disappointed when I took my daughter there for her birthday. My fish was dry and flavorless, and everyone else was also disappointed with their food. Our appetizers were better than our main courses. Great ambience.
Fresh sushi good service interesting salad variations . A sort
Of pre thanksgiving anti turkey experience
Great food, unfortunately got food poisoning, as well, on my way out while my son was looking at how Suchi was made we saw few cocouroaghes, did inform the manager, looked like he knew about them and started to kill them in front of us! just grossed me out, definitely will not be going back. This was last weekend, 08-16
Sushi is fantastic. Great happy hour specials.
AVOID the non-specialty dishes (pasta, american, etc).. have tried a couple and was very disappointing.
If you don't like sushi and are looking for something good on the menu ---- learn to like sushi.
Service was fine, however I will not be returning and would advise anyone with a legitimate gluten sensitivity to avoid this restaurant. I was pleased with all the selections on their gluten free menu and promptly ordered the truffle fries from it. A few minutes later the manager came out and explained that the fries weren't actually gluten free, despite being on the gluten free menu.
I had specified with the waitress that my gluten free pasta should be handled with care due to Celiac Disease, yet it came out with a wheat bread stick right on top. Waitress apologized and took it to be remade (due to cross contamination), but returned just minutes later and I fear they only took away the bread stick and did not remake as promised.
The gluten-eaters at the table seemed to enjoy their food, but I have no confidence that this is a safe option for those with gluten sensitivity.
Stir fry...nothing outstanding about this..basic stirfry
Great place. Pub style food and with fresh sushi options and poke bowls. Must try.
Crave has pretty good cocktails and food but the service is inconsistent. Both bartenders were too busy to take care of bar customers and when I asked about getting our check, I was interrupted and told they were too busy. Was very disappointed in the service.
I ordered food last night and got the garlic lemon chicken. It was disgusting the chicken was dry yet some how gamy and the brussel sprouts soggy. I should just make it myself next time because the $26 was a complete waste. I expected better from Crave and will never order that again.
Delicious and unique food options. Consistently good. A favorite go-to restaurant for many different occasions.
The food was great, the decor is fine, but the service is only so-so. Been there three times so far, and I'll go back (the sushi really is as awesome as everyone says). Wait staff really needs to do a better job handling customers.
Two bad experiences, won't be returning for awhile.
They don't honor reservations: Made a reservation in person specifically for the chef's table weeks in advance; called days ahead and gave final number. Arrive 15 min early, we were bumped to a different table (not semi-private, and in the bar area - very loud). Defeated the point of the reservation; hostess wasn't apologetic or remorseful.
Poor Service: our waitress was aloof all evening.
