Very welcoming staff. Rooms look nice, but too small for the price. Food is nowhere near as nice as it thinks it is - it's very disappointting. Weird to be offered freshly ground pepper with most courses. Don't eat here.

Afternoon tea - Birthday treat for my mum. She loved it. Had a vegetarian selection. Sandwiches were OK. Have been better on previous occasions. Scones were lovely as were the cakes. Service was great and overall beautiful grounds and setting.

If you are going to a planned wedding fot 50 or 100, a party for 30, 40 or 50... You wil probably not find fault. If you're a couple away for a few nights, this is Fawlty Towers at its most extreme. It gets just one star because we were a couple, because there was no one to help me with luggage, no bar, just a chap taking orders. No cocktails, we don't have the ingredients... No one to clear the table after the main course. The walls are paper thin, Lord forbid you were ever close to the newlyweds... If you are at an event I'm sure it is fine but if you are on your own, you are on your own. Ludicrous.

Me and my fiance visited Crathorne Hall to have a look at it for a possible wedding venues staff were extremely friendly and informative. We had free roam to look around, except for one if the rooms where a meeting was being held, not a problem. The building and it's grounds were amazing and we will definitely be back whether we get married here or not.

If you're looking for an elegant place to stay, I would highly recommend the Crathorne Hall Hotel. The staff were helpful and friendly, and the food and drink was very nice.
The rooms were clean and offered all the amenities you would need for a short stay.
The grounds are spectacular offering a nice little woodland walk which is great for outdoor loving kids.
The hotel seemed rather popular with wedding parties too, with several couples booking up while we were there. This doesn't surprise me as my first thoughts were that the hotel would be ideal for such occasions.

Was here for a wedding function. Didn't stay overnight. Spacious rooms and friendly staff. Food offered (beef roast) was cooked beautifully and rather tasty. Offerings at the bar was rather disappointing. No cask ale and the local keg beer (Black Sheep) was off.

5 star service and experience again.

Just returned for the 1st time since our wedding for our anniversary.

Great location and surroundings. Really friendly and helpful staff. Lovely meal. And great nights sleep . Couldn't ask for more. And highly recommend for your own wedding . Or stay over for a very relaxing 5star stay and meal.

Thanks again. We will be back..

Location OK, the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The overall services are also alright; good breakfast. The only downside was the very poor service during our dinner at our yearly family get together. Very disappointed about that, but which they dealt with by giving us an overall discount on the costs of staying over.
