FABULOUS. Surroundings beautiful decor of hotel gorgeous and in keeping with the building.Staff very attentive and food is superb.

Set in lush countryside, spacious rooms will be going back again.

Beautiful Rooms in a stunning building and furnishings yet so comfortable and welcoming. Excellent service, the team here at Crathorne should be very proud of their wonderful hospitality.

Gorgeous hotel with fabulous plush rooms. I attended my friend's wedding and thoroughly enjoyed the day as well as the breakfast the next day.

Went for afternoon tea for my wifes birthday and it was superb. Great food and the staff were fabulous.

Slightly confusing experience initially, the car park is actually the rear of the building. Had to walk around to find an entrance, before being redirected to where I needed to be. Prices were reasonable, & staff were friendly.

Afternoon tea with my husband. A beautiful setting for a fantastic afternoon tea. Food was lovely, staff attentive and courteous and we felt relaxed. Will definitely return.

DJ'd a wedding here last night, the staff are SUPERB, especially the duty manager Nathan. Kept all suppliers in the loop and made everything run smoothly (as smoothly as any wedding does that is). The grounds are beautiful too. Will be booking to stay here when I can and hope to be back a few more times too professionally.

Just went for Sunday lunch, stunning surroundings, wonderful staff and brilliant food. What a lovely day!

Absolutely spot on, lovely old house, recently refurbished rooms, so all very modern, spacious and fully appointed and immaculately clean. My room didn't have a great view, I bet some really did. But mine was incredible value for quality and environment. Excellent staff too.

I took my wife to, Crathorne Hall for afternoon tea. The service was fantastic, hostess was so helpful and very friendly. The setting was so relaxing and cosy. As it was a little cold, the hostess put the huge fire on which made the atmosphere of the setting even more enjoyable. Will be going back again when the weather is warmer so we can take a walk around the grounds after a meal

Went to pick the mother in law up from a works party. It's a beautiful place they had a brass band playing Xmas songs and Santa pulled up in his sleigh pulled by real reindeer

The building and grounds are beautiful... The staff have no product knowledge of wine.. The 4 sandwiches they offer for there 24 hour room service were not even available..everytime i wanted a drink i had to walk the hotel looking for a barman..the room itself was filthy.....Very very dissapointed ....

Fabulous accommodation. Fantastic breakfast. Dinner in restaurant an absolute disaster! Cost of dinner was refunded but the whole evening was spoilt.

A very traditional hotel in the middle of vast greenery. The rooms are so spacious and everything you need or will need are available. You would love walking to their garden and wide property. The food is just delicious. Compliments to the chef! The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The bar serve good variety of drinks and booze. The bathroom is the best part as you can choose from a bath or shower..yes you have both! All in all I loved my stay!

Always AMAZING. Great staff, beautiful food, and perfect atmosphere. Have both eaten here and delivered and set up wedding cakes here, in any situation the staff cant do enough. Xx

Very disorganised, the bar where we were was massively understocked, the food was underwhelming, it was a barbeque theme, burgers were s feature, lovely tastes but no cheese...... How strange, no barbeque sauce, no onions for the hotdogs....... place looks picturesque but let down by the way it was run

This hotel is great, very grandiose. It would have got 5 but there were little things that stopped it.

We were hosted by Crathorne for my sister's wedding. What an amazing venue and experience! The staff were amongst the friendliest people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting! Each person, whether it was desk clerk or server at breakfast was personable and warm. The grounds of the hotel were absolutely stunning and featured a beautiful woodland walk. The rooms were exceptionally clean, modern, and very very comfortable.

Hotel, staff and food were great : a bit stingy on their whisky measures (barely covered the bottom of the glass it was served in)!

Our short stay at Crathorne was amazing! On arrival the concierge Elier showed us around the hotel and was incredibly professional about doing so. Then after we had settled into our room we nipped out for a walk and Martin from reception suggested some routes for us to try which we did so thanks for that too! Dinner in the evening was superb, I had the tuna, my mother had the salmon and they were both cooked to perfection! Mo looked after us in the restaurant and the bar beforehand and he is a real credit to your hotel. In the morning after we had breakfast that was again perfect the head chef Alan met with us to talk about our stay and the food, couldn t thank him enough and it really shows everyone here really cares about giving a great level of service!

Nice place but feels a bit worn! Wouldn t suggest dinner service- wasn t worth it! Loads of frozen food, nothing fresh! Very expensive drinks!

For special occasions Crathorne Hall Hotel cannot be beaten for good food and service. Sunday lunch was excellent and the welcome was warm.

Luxurious room, delicious gourmet food, lovely staff, followed by a really nice breakfast. Thoroughly recommend this country hotel.

Fantastic Hotel. Built early 20th Century, tastefully appointed and run by extremely helpful friendly staff. Food is excellent and rooms are too. Set in lovely grounds not far from North Yorkshire Moors this is a must for those wanting a treat with a touch of luxury. Also has a separate conference suite for those that must work in such a lovely place.

Wonderful overnight stay, staff couldn't do enough for you, food was great, good night's sleep.

Attended a charity ladies lunch. Very good food, attentive staff. Very helpful commissionaire on the door, did valet parking for us as it was raining. Lovely decor. Dining room was laid out beautifully, white table cloths, tall candelabras with real candles, sparkling glasses and cutlery. Enjoyable time was had by all.

It's always a great place to go,afternoon tea is delicious, don't worry about the calories just enjoy.All the staff are courteous,helpful, and nothing is too much trouble.Go treat yourself and enjoy the scenery too.

We were at an event here recently the hotel and grounds were beautiful!
but due to someone at the hotel not taking all the bookings in our party group we was told we had to go to another hotel close by which was very unfair after booking in and caused upset and uproar and family members falling out only to find out that they'd not double booked they'd pretty much kicked us out because bewitched !! yes bewitched were performing at Mecca bingo and wanted their rooms

Top Hotel with pleasant hard working staff who cannot do enough for the guests. Thoroughly recommend it.

In the area on business. The surroundings are beautiful and the hall is quite impressive with a a lovely view of he gardens when you have breakfast. The rooms are spacious but fairly uncomfortable. The springs in my mattress were long gone and I couldn't sleep very well and the shower was very uncomfortable with no water pressure. I tried the restaurant as well and I found it average.

Had a lovely afternoon tea for my birthday, the lady who served us who had been there 12 years was absolutely brilliant, in fact she made the experience.
Taken one star off as had requested it not to be a festive afternoon tea so no mince pies and no Christmas cake (as it was my birthday and I don't like either) but it came with both. In the end we ended up leaving these anyone as we were so full but would have been nice if the notes made at the time of booking had been passed on.

Christmas night out. Meal Luke warm with undercooked food. Would not go back

This is a very special place for my wife & I. We were married there & we try & visit when we can. The food is excellent & the rooms are all beautifully decorated. So if you are in the area pay a visit & you won't be disappointed.

I adore this hotel. My wife and i got married here 5 years ago and we go back at least once a year. The staff are so friendly and attentive, the rooms are amazing, it has a really relaxed atmosphere and the food is excellent.
