Brilliant takeaway service during lockdown conditions, also the grounds have been opened up so customers can have a stroll round & consume their eats if they wish.

Lovely place to stay very clean wonderful staff and great service . Food is amazing definitely one of the best hotels to stay in this area we can't wait to visit again.

Beautiful hotel in a secluded setting. Ideal for dinner or afternoon tea as well as a venue for events and weddings. Great location next to the A19 and nearby Yarm. Recommended.

Lovely surroundings and lovely atmosphere. Very attentive staff, and though a limited menu, the food we had was very good. I would certainly recommend Crathorne hall and we will be eating here again.

An excellent walk in rain round the grounds followed by coffee and sausage sarnie during a lockdown weekend.

Just returned from afternoon tea with my wife. We both thought it was fabulous. I'm vegetarian, she isn't and we were both well catered for. We were attended to by Annabelle and Olivia, both of whom had personality and charm. Crathorne is on our "return to" list.

Excellent place. Been to my cousins wedding lovley venue staff and food. Venue is massive and has a authentic country manour feel to it. Staff couldnt do enough to help anf the rooms are fantastic with well stocked coffee machines

A superior typically English hotel steeped in history about the family that owned it. Set in its own remarkable grounds , it is staffed by extremely professional yet friendly people. The bedrooms are all "named" and a delight to relax in.

Went for a works christmas party. Food was nice. Not a great range of drinks though

Had a Christmas party night here. It was a decent evening with good service, but our main course was Risotto (we're vegetarian) and it was the worst Risotto we've ever had. I found out dreadful but edible, wife found it inedible and left hers. Watery, insipid and tasteless. The starter and dessert were OK though. Service was good.

Beautiful old building with so much charm. Tastefully decorated and all the staff are friendly and helpful. Absolutely love the garden ands the surrounding grounds. Its just beautiful..and the food isnt bad either

Beautiful building inside and out, spotlessly clean, very nice staff, very comfy beds.. planning a wedding and live nearby... has to be worth a look.

Suprise 50th birthday party ...staff was amazing especially olivia who really looked after us .

Recently visited for a wedding, outstanding venue, amazing location, atmosphere, grounds and even more outstanding staff. Staff couldnt do enough, bar has a very large selection and bar "snacks" very extensive (meat pizza and skinny Frys) even better!! Highly recommended

Had Christmas party there. Crammed into a room with lots of other people's party goers there. There was very little space to move around without bumping into people. The staff were courteous and hard working, but the food was not good. Starter portions very small, Turkey was solid and tasted like processed meat. Worst of all it was cold. The Christmas pudding was gelatinous. It is a real shame. My feeling was that they were trying to serve every party at the same time and there was no way they could keep food fresh and hot for so many. Music choice was good.

An excellent hotel with very friendly helpful staff, wonderful rooms in a beautiful setting. The dining room was lovely and the food was very good. We stayed one night on the way home from Edinburgh. We booked through Secret Escapes and the deal we had was excellent value for an overnight stay with dinner, bed and breakfast, with extras.

What can I say, fantastic staff , great place and amazing food, defernetly be back 5 stars all round.

Had afternoon tea for two here as a treat with my boyfriend. Absolutely beautiful building and surroundings, the tea and cakes were divine and we will definitely be back

Great hotel. The food was excellent, the staff were really friendly and the room was amazingly comfy. The bed is huge, i lost my husband in the middle of the night! We were sorry to check out in the morning.
