This is a beautiful Resort in a beautiful location. We primarily been here for holidays for brunch, and the food has always been excellent whether it's the carved and served meats and pastas, or the foods at the buffet. While it is a very nice place, the restaurant itself is not stuffy. We felt for the price, and the level of service, that this was a great experience and a great deal. We will continue to come here for special occasions in the future.

This place was absolutely fantastic. Great service, great facility, and wonderful grounds. It was a joy to walk around and take in all of the ambiance. Our room was well appointed on a corner with a balcony and overlooked the tennis courts with the valley in the distance. very comfy bed and a nice jetted tub in the unit.

The spa facility was great. The use of the steam room and sauna, free of charge, was a nice perk of being a guest there. I would definitely stay there again and would advise you to do the same. Enjoy!

Nice

I have been going to this resort for years and went a couple weeks ago but had a awful experience because of the construction and it soon will not allow kids that s ridiculous I don t think I will ever return to this resort because me and my kids always enjoyed it I would recommend the Red Lion Inn it has great service and amazing food I will be telling my friends about this ridiculous new rule and make sure they don t ever come back as well

Very disappointed they have already closed the range for the year. They like to tout that the range is included in membership rates but they open it later than the course and close it before the season is over. If the course is open then the range should be open. It s not fair to members.

I've just had the worst "luxury" pedicure ever. My nails were cut so short it hurts! My toes are pink from filing and it hurts! Cuticles are rough and uneven. Sides of my nails are sharp like a blade. I complained to Assistant Spa Director and all she said was "sorry, it doesn't happen too often but at least there are no obvious cuts"

Beautiful resort. Lovely indoor and outdoor pool. Central to so much good stuff in the community. Most guest are over 50. We had our kids with us and definitely felt that we needed to ask them to be quiet more frequently than hoped for at a pool.

I can't really give a full review as most of the resort is closed for major building & renovation. We stayed in the smaller Carriage House. The room was clean & large with 2 queen size beds & a pull out couch. It had a large bathroom with a double vanity sink. There was a Keurig in the room. They offer a continental breakfast with bagels, various spreads, fresh fruit, juice, yogurt & pastries. There was no view due to construction & the long driveway in is rough. The resort is located 2.5 miles from Tanglewood, which is convenient. Restaurants are a quick 15 minute drive into Lee.

Not worth the price at all!

Not worth the price at all!
Outdated rooms look like Motel 6.
Location is good and it is quiet however no breakfast ( for 350 $ per night you would expect it!)
Spa is OK however you pay the fee ( on top of 350 nightly rate) and parking is occupied and spa busy because they try to fill the spa with memberships so - it ends up being crowded.
Bottom line- not at all worth the $$$
I made a HUGE mistacke for staying.
Also- carpets are dirty and if you have allergies please avoid as you will end up aggravating them.
Will never stay at this property again- it looks like Downtown Abbey when you look at photos and in reality it is a level slightly better than Motel 6!

This hotel looks a lot better online than it does in person. The rooms need to be updated. They are old and have a musty smell. The buildings are loud and you can hear everyone going up and down the stairs and hallway. It's definitely not worth the price for what they are asking.

I'm a local photographer so I get a lot of opportunities to photograph at Cranwell. Welcome dinners and Bar Mitzvah's in the Harvest Barn, Wedding ceremonies overlooking the Berkshire Hills, Cocktails on the terrace of the Manor House, and family photos on the expansive grounds. In every direction you look there is beauty to be found. And the staff and food are both absolutely fantastic! Cranwell is also known for their award winning 18 hole golf course, and although I haven't spent time in the spa, my wife totally loves it.

Not worth the price. I got a pedicure, it was 72 bucks. The pedi chairs are in the back of a windowless salon with poor air circulation. It smelled like acetone. They did not have drying fans for my toes so after waiting the advised 20 minutes plus 10 minutes, I put on my winter boots. When I got home, my big toe was ruined. I'm not going back to get it fixed, the wait at the front desk was ridiculous.

I went to Cranwell for a relaxing weekend at the spa. It certainly delivered. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was so spacious and the spa was clean and full of amenities. I plan to go back!

Cranwell is the place to stay when you're in the Berkshires. Close to Tanglewood . Also a first rate Golf course. When your done golfing the spa and/or Sloanes Tavern is the place to go. Courtesy cars to get you around the complex or take nice leisurely walks on the grounds.
