We came for the butterfly garden. It was tiny and there were two butterflies in it. No cafe or gift shop. Not a great place in the summer when it s hot as there is very little shade. Especially skip if you have small children or elderly people with you. Definitely a waste of a drive.

One of my favorite Metro Parks in the area to go visit. Many trails (paved and unpaved) around the park to walk around on. The tree house is one of the characteristic features that sets this aside from other parks. A great spot to take portraits or photos of nature, and the grounds here are very well kept.

It s well kept. Reminds me of my neighbors yards. Just a pretty place for people to go walk around. If you like a park with natural plants and trees that s cookie cutter and looks like someone s yard then it s for you. They did mark the plants and trees and had a sign marking a tree that was killed by emerald ash borers to inform public which is a plus.

Such a beautiful tranquil place for walking, or having lunch, or for hosting a wedding. I just had the pleasure of officiating a wedding in the beautiful Edible Garden. I have officiated many weddings at Cox Arboretum in several different locations and it is always perfect.

I absolutely love this place. There are so many different outdoor things to enjoy. Bring your family and make this an all day outing, on a nice, sunny day. Or if you want and need to just take some time out for yourself, come here and take a little walk around. It is very peaceful and has a beautiful scenery.

What an absolute gem of an area! A true "naturalist" playground. Open fields, fantastic well-marked trails, a butterfly haven and a pond teeming with turtles and fish. Treat yourself to spending some real time here!

This is such a beautiful park! We love to go and walk the trails with our kids, bring food and have a picnic, and also look for new plants to add to our gardens. Our favorites are the butterfly house and tree tower.

Always a beautiful place to experience the outdoors. Sometimes a little confusing following the trail map, but you can figure it out. Lots of room to maintain social distance once you're on the trails. Overall a great break from quarantine.

I wish I knew to bring a picnic! I really could have spent ALL day lounging in the different parts of the gardens if I had snacks with me. It is a beautiful place with tons of walking and can hold events from birthdays to weddings. It was very dog friendly and had plenty of space to spread out form the other goers. We will be back for sure.
