Such an awesome spot to take a walk, and enjoy some outside time. A pretty large metro park, can keep you occupied for a few hrs. The buildings are spectacular in design, absolutely gorgeous. Glad the park is open during Covid-19, but the visitors center, tree tower, and butterfly house were unavailable.

Cox Arboretum is beautiful and peaceful. My boys loved seeing all of the plants, ponds, animals (turtles, birds, fish, etc.), and butterflies! We have hiked several times, and done a couple of trail runs. The butterfly house is great, as well as the educational resources available. As we no longer live in the area, I still recommend a jaunt to this little gem to everyone in the area! Bring your shoes, and leave time behind as you explore and wander!

The rude inconsiterate woman working in the butterfly house needs to learn manners and not scold people if they are holding a flower before you assume and physically touch someone you need to say we dont pick flowers and maby explain why. She bullied a guest and never the woman a second chance.this is unaceptable i am aware they voluteer. But still no excuse to touch and treat someone so harsh on a special day

Cox Arboretum is truly a gem in our city. I always enjoyed taking my girls there and getting their photographs with the Tulips when they were in bloom in the spring, or just hiking around the grounds, looking for the turtles in the pond, standing on the bridge looking at the koi fish, hiking around and going to the Butterfly House. In addition to all of these wonderful things, Cox Arboretum is also a great place to host your wedding reception or party. They have the Fifth Third Banquet Room with all of the floor-to-ceiling windows if your group is a larger then 100 you can always do a tent on the grand lawn behind the Fifth Third Bank banquet room.
